Do NOT do business with this company! We had a water leak in our kitchen island and they dispatched an authorized plumber to make the repairs. The plumber failed to get approval from Home Choice Warranty to open the island wall to facilitate the repairs and therefore we are left with a big hole cut into our island wall. We called Choice Home Warranty and they said this would have to be a separate claim and sent another repair company out for the wall repair. We were required to pay the service fee to the dry wall repair company only to have Choice Home Warrant refuse the claim since the original repair by the plumber did not get prior approval form them to cut an access hole. This company couldn't care less about their clients... very poor customer service to say the least!!

The warranty coverage is great. I just don’t appreciate the constant hassle of upselling. I told the gentleman no several times and just about canceled the warranty because he wouldn’t take no do an answer. Not sure why the Amazing is in the lower right corner.

The worst warranty when compared to others. It took them 2 months to figure it out, and finally, they do not want to repair or replace our dryer. They even did not pay the full amount or even half. We used the outside dryer for two months. Finally, I paid from my pocket to get a new dryer. I did not renew the warranty with them. Now they are calling me back like a scam. Yes, they are really a scam. We struggled a lot due to the washer issue. My friends told me that their warranty companies replaced it with a new dryer when they had an issue. There are many good companies; stick with them. Choice Home Warranty may have a lower service fee, but you will end up with burdens. Period......

I had an appointment with Sears Home Services to install repair parts on my washer 2/19/24. On Feb 16 an email from Sears stated "Your repair parts have shipped to your service address and we're scheduled to complete your service on Feb 19". I waited all day. No word by email or otherwise for a technician to call. I called the phone number on the Sears email 4 times during the day and continually checked the Sears site which all showed that the install was still scheduled. Do something!

On Oct. 30, 2023 we sent a certified letter to Jim M, CEO of Choice Home Warranty detailing our difficulty in receiving service and reimbursement on our dishwasher. The letter was received Nov. 3, 2023. There has been no reply as of this date, Nov. 14, 2023. We purchased a contract for service on Jan. 4, 2023 and have filed no other claims other than this one. We would never recommend this company to anyone and will be canceling this contract.

Just had warranty work done, water heater replaced, paid over $600 and they did not put in a drip pan. Called ya’ll back and the gentleman that answer the phone could not care less. I even sent pictures of the damage done to my wall. What good is having the warranty program if we can’t trust the workers y’all send over. Still waiting on a response from Choice Home Warranty.

On Nov 8 the plumbing in both our bathrooms backed up and our toilets became unusable, our bathtub failed to drain, and fecal matter surged up in the shower in my bathroom. I put in a claim #220211678 and you informed me a plumber would come on Nov 16!!! I called the plumber and they informed me that they could not come any sooner. I canceled immediately and contracted a local plumber that came the next day, Mike’s Plumbing Co. He snaked the lines and fixed our problem for $457.32. Please reimburse me. NOT AMAZING!!.

I have been trying to get my washer fixed since April. They keep ordering the same parts. My basement has flooded twice. I have had to wet vac my basement twice. At what point do you just replace the washer. I have wasted 7-10 days waiting endlessly for the tech to come between 8-5 only to cancel after pushing appt to 6:14. Then 7:15 on last Friday night. Ned T thing I know they cancelled. Infuriating. I can’t take it when this is touted as the #1 home warranty company. Please redeem yourselves and solve the problem or replace asap. It’s been going on 7 months.

Part of our pool equipment started leaking and I submitted a claim. They were supposed to respond within 24 to 48 hours. And I did get a response which said they were working on it. And then I called and they still hadn't been able to identify anyone to come out and look at it. And then they did identify somebody about a week later, and Choice made an appointment, but the person didn't come. And then I had the number because Choice gave it to me and I tried to call the vendor that they identified and he didn't respond back. So I called Choice and they called him, and two days later he came out. And then he submitted their processes that he submits what he finds a problem, and then they authorize the repair. They did authorize the repair, but I still have not heard from the man to come back and do it. So this all happened between October 24th and today and he still hasn't been out to do the repair.

I reported a leakage from my shower down to my basement ceiling. The contractor who came and looked at it said its not plumbing issue but grouting issue so he cannot fix. He said he will notify home choice warranty to send a tile person to take a look. However I saw the update on CHW claim that this problem has been fixed. The leakage is still there and I am planning to fix it myself. So not satisfied with this particular claim

Have not had reliable service technicians fix issues from 3/23. Oh they take that $85 deductible money quick then never fix problem. Hopefully the current technician working on refrigerator will get it fixed after ordering another part yesterday.
