The 3* review is related to the very large increase in the monthly premium cost and the increase in the cost for an appointment for service from $75 to $100.

I will be discontinuing my warranty service due to technicians not showing up or responding to calls. Also it’s terrible and bad business practice to not reimburse my service fee after two technicians bailed and I’ve had a hole in my ceiling for over a month.

I chose Choice Home Warranty after being told if an appliance could not be fixed , it would be replaced. That is not the case. Was told I would be given a gift card for an amount that won’t even buy one of the cheapest dish washers . And on top of that, I was told it could be up to a month before I receive that gift card.

The company in my view did not honor the contract, my fridge was not repairable, they ininally denid the claim, only after I threatened, they came up with two payments, about 40 percent of a new similar unit, now Im worried is this the playbook for any additionally claims ??? not a HAPPY CAMPER with the company PERIOD.

First time I used CH for dishwasher everything was good. When I needed them for my dryer they failed spectacularly. Techs were here twice and they never got my dryer fixed and I eventually had to buy a new dryer out of pocket with no compensation. Definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I chose Choice Home Warranty after reviewing several companies. They had the best coverage for the price.

Very bad 👎 I put in s claim for microwave. A technician was sent to my house to collect 100 dollars. Since then, I've never heard anything. My microwave wasn't repaired. This is s big scam! Anytime I call the company too nobody responds.

Please give customers a choice of dates and times instead of just assigning one. That way they don't have to try to get a hold of the servicing company and change everything.

Took my order for Electric and after I paid and waited the account accepted by you was cancelled. You did not accept bad Electricty. I very often use you. I just pay, not rich, but you are so unenprofessional. I after 4 years must cancel your business.

I've had it for almost a year, paying $52 a month and never used it until my central air went out a couple weeks ago. Now they want me to pay over $5,000 to fix it! That is not what I got this coverage for. I paid for complete coverage! Their answer was that I should have read the small print that doesnt cover some of it.Iam beyond angry!

No plumber could be assigned to our claim, so I hired one and had the issue fixed. A “reimbursement claim” was activated and then later denied but CH didn’t approve the claim. Won’t be renewing with them when this policy is up.

Dryer died 5 months after moving in. 20-25 years old and didn’t have a serial #. Warranty was not honored because of that. Listed way down in contract. Disappointing and more than aggravating. I had to pay full price for new machine.

Our home is getting older and so are we, therefore we don’t want unexpected expenses. Also, it can be hard to find contractors and having a warranty makes it easier.

I am very disappointed with this warranty company. I recently had to replace my stove that they refused to fix. They gave me a paltry $420 toward a stove that I had to buy for 4 times that amount for a stove to match my existing appliances. They promise a lot but don’t come through. I will not be renewing my policy.

I’m thinking about switching. They are impossible to speak with most of the time, so frustrating. If you aren’t communicating with an agent, it’s impossible to be transferred to management. I’m still waiting for a refund after months.

A claim was put in, service was performed and within 10 days same problem. I had paid the $75 service fee but second time was told by Choice it was waived due to second call. The Sears Service has now turned us into COLLECTION. I reached out to Choice and they have never responded. Now the microwave is broken again.

Since we are in a more remote area, it takes several days to get an appointment with a technician. Sometimes that doesn't work.

I switched form AHS because of poor customer service. Parts were ordered and received 2-3 weeks ago through CHW. Had appointment scheduled for 3/12, only to find out that it has been rescheduled for 3/17. No one called or texted to notify me of the change. I guess no one provides excellent customer service nowadays. 😕

I thought they had integrity I was wrong when they were supposed to replace my water heater They left me with cold water for a month until I had to take care of it myself. If you want someone dependable don’t choose them. 😏
