Reviewers are inaccurate. Claim for covered roof leak was initially closed because it was "not covered". Messaged in customer portal that it is covered but reply reiterated it is nkt covered. I had to make several phone calls to get to talk to a person who investigated and reopened the claim because service agreement shows coverage. Now still waiting for a contractor to get assigned for a leaking roof. It has been weeks and I am still waiting for a contractor to get assigned.

I was very satisfied with my service until this most recent appt. The sears tech never showed up, I called both choice and sears with promises he was on his way. Two days he was supposed to show up and nothing no calls nothing. Called the next day and they were sending it to another tech. Here it is 8 days after the first phone call and still no tech. I have referred this company to so many people and won’t be doing that any more.

Terrible. Service man came out in August, it took months to get the conclusion that they can’t fix my 40” professional series stove/oven Everything works but the display is so faint you can barely read the clock and temperature display. They’re offering pocket change vs the price of this stove and they’re listing it as a cooktop instead of a 40” professional series stove oven combo. This is my first and only claim…STAY AWAY!

No concern at all for how long a repair takes. Last appointment was cancelled by them after we were at home all day (our window was 7am-4pm) because their technician was running behind. We received notice at 7:30 that night that he was not coming and were rescheduled for 2 weeks later! I sent customer service a message about that seaming unfair and was told there was nothing that could be done.

Very disappointed to learn that my second refrigerator and freezer were not covered under the warranty because I was told all appliances would be covered when I purchased the warranty. This is not my first disappointment in that response was slow to get service for my air conditioning unit which failed on the Labor Day weekend. In fact, the first repairman who arrived was totally incompetent and sold us, probably unnecessarily, freon for the system and was trying to sell us another control unit. The second repairman realized it was a burned wire and had it fixed in 15 minuutes.

Choice do whatever the can not to cover an issue. The have sent out companies that was not knowledgeable of the issue at hand and they have deny to fix stuff that my policy clearly states that it’s covers. I have even been advised by choice customer service to put in a claim for something being told that it was covered and then after paying my $75 to the company I was told it wasn’t covered.

The first time they ordered the wrong water heater although they were sent the measurements and then when they were told it was the wrong water heater they ordered another water heater and the plumber mentioned that they ordered it. However, it was out of stock where they ordered it, and I have not been able to get in contact with anybody. Nobody's called me back to find out what's going on. I hope this is resolved soon. And then I may just cancel. I don't know what I'm going to do.

They suck. I haven't gotten no money back. I've been calling them for a whole week now and I cannot get in touch with no one. They don't come out when they say they're going to come and when your stuff were down, they're not there for you, but they won't pay money on time. Every month they want their money on time. If you're not on time, they will call you. But when it's time for them to fix my stuff, they're not there for me.

I've used my warranty three times and they have very good technicians that they use, but two out of the three times they either disallowed the repair or they charged me for something that was part of the repair. So it seemed like a bit of a scam. When my old company charged 65, it was 65 to fix it. But with Choice Home Warranty they seem to always find some reason not to allow the whole thing or all of it, so they each time I had to pay 100 or 150 - more than the 65.

Slow response. Once they get there, they're very good. I tried to use it on my ice machine, which I was told when I bought it that it would be covered. It was installed. It's not an ice machine in a refrigerator, it's an ice machine in a separate appliance. And when I called about a repair they said it wasn't covered.
