Choice Home Warranty came through for us the first time we needed them. Found a small leak coming from the stove top plumbing and called Choice Home Warranty. They listened careful to understand exactly what the problem was and dispatched a plumber for the next day. The plumber showed up before 8 AM and was very professional. He quickly identified the issue with the valve and got it replaced within 15 minutes. From start to finish, a great experience and gives me peace of mind for any future problems I may encounter in my new home.

My first call to CHW to inquire on their coverage and cost was satisfactory. The Representative sounded very confident and knowledgeable, and was able to answer all my questions with his great sense of humor - amazing! To add icing to the cake, I was offered a deal that I could not refuse! I trust that the services being offered will be just as efficient as the Rep, when my plan comes into effect.

Our last item to be reported to CHW WAS AN AIR CONDITIONER PROBLEM. We were promptly assigned a work order number and the service company assigned a repair person to contact us The problem was resolved and air conditioner worked for a week. Due to no fault of CHW another problem has now come up with the same item and again they have responded and have assigned someone to come check the problem. I am very pleased with the service we have received on any problems during the almost three years we had this service. I recently renewed for another three years too.

Only reason I wouldn’t recommend if you have expensive appliances. When I opened my account the representative told me they match same appliances if cant be fixed. Well that turned out to be a lie. I had two appliances went bad & choice plus didn’t even come close to replacing it with what i had already and what i prefer, so when people ask me who i have i tell them choice plus until my term expire but i don’t recommend if you have expensive appliances. One of other bad service is when my range top went bad. They paid 200 & thats after i complained about it. I paid 400 cuz i had to pay Home Depot to put it in. They estimated the average cost but didn’t consider installation fees!!! Its the point the representative i specifically remember saying i would not come out my pocket other that $45. And i did tell him how costly my appliances are. He said we match make and model even if they discontinued we come as close to it, A lie!!!!

I haven't had a full experience yet with Choice Warranty yet, but the short phone experience I had with Leo an account manager as he was explaining me switching over from my current home warranty to choice home was excellent. Sales gave me a great deal on a 3yr warranty w/ increased home coverage vs AHS; customer service wait time was <2min as opposed the AHS of 30-60min wait time; customer service changed my appliance failure time to fall w/in policy coverage as I'm a new customer; service tech was from a known and reputable company as opposed to AHS, who'll send no company named techs.

I had the vendor come in to do the needful as we had a plumbing issue. He was professional, got the job done and paid him $75 and he was gone. There was no fuss, not hassle and no issues. The best part is the professional service that you can get from professional vendors rather than handyman. All in all it was a good experience. Thank you Choice Home Warranty!

So far so good . This is our initial call to CHW . We have not had a tech come out as of yet so time will tell once we get into the service call . However the customer service agent was extremely nice and took our claim politely and professionally . We have never used a home warranty company before and are extremely apprehensive but you came highly recommended . I will send an updated review once our case is completed .

the main problem....CHW assigned me to a 1 to 5 time slot w/o cking with the tech. He notified me that he would be 2:30 to 4:06. that was ok. BUT because of his appts., he was late. I began texting him at 4:22. Then again at 4:30. No reply. Finally at 5:08 I get notified he was on his way. When he arrived, he seemed to know what was wrong. Thot he fixed it, but didn't Had to start over. Found the true problem. Called in about the issue. So now I get to find a new dishwasher at Lowes.. I think you should supply someone to install it, since I had to find it at the place your chose. AND someone to haul off the dead one. Having a home warranty should cover more help for the home owner. Not just put my money in your acct every month. I have been a client for several yrs. Doesn't that count for anything.??

We purchased a vacation getaway home in Little River South Carolina about 3 years ago. Along with our purchase came a Choice Home Warranty contract. I must say that I have been very impressed each time they were needed. Being new in an area makes reliable vendors hard to identify especially when facing emergency needs. Each of the 3 times we called Choice Home Warranty we were provided a quality vendor that was prompt, courteous, and effective in taking care of our needs. I imagine I will be a repeat policy holder at its expiration.

My experience with CHW has been nothing but positive! I put in a claim to have my A/C repaired on Monday last week. Within 24 hrs, a CHW was on it. At first, my claim was denied, but I wrote a letter of Appeal. The following day, I was assigned a case manager by the name of Norvette T. (extraordinary employee who was professional and knowledgeable and a great listener!!) CHW reconsidered my claim and made an extremely fair decision. Within one week, I'm enjoying again my A/C! Can't say enough good about CHW!!

We've only needed to request someone to repair our appliances a few times since purchasing our plan; however, without the plan we would have paid a lot more! It is well worth the purchase. I would suggest CHW conduct a review of their techs as some are more knowledgeable with the utmost professionalism and others are not. CHW phone reps "listen" to the issue you have and quickly submit your request to available techs with techs responding and scheduling an appointment with a day or two. CHW provides the name, contact info, and day the tech is scheduled to make any repairs. Overall purchasing a plan is well worth the investment.

My furnace air Recycler went out. Choice sent out a technician that confirmed the diagnosis. Replacement was needed. I was told the part was probably not covered. To my surprise and gratefulness after speaking to a case manager, the repair was approved. Thank you Choice for having excellent customer service. My service was for Refrigerator appliance. Technician contacted me prior to visit to ascertain the problem. I really appreciated the fact that he suggested I text the serial number to him when I offered that I can hardly see the numbers. Called prior to visit which was prompt, pointed out what I could do to keep my appliance in good repair. What a pleasure it was meeting a repair person who did not imply that the repair was my fault.

I recently had a plumbing problem and contacted Choice to submit a repair request. As it was somewhat of an emergency, I checked back later that day and was told no service company had picked up the order but that I could find my own plumber and submit the invoice for reimbursement. I did and my repair was approved immediately that same day as was the repair. Never received this type of service with a smile. Thanks Choice!

I LOVE CHOICE HW. Service person shows up on day the appmt. and on time. VERY friendly and understanding of the problem. I had 3 problems within a week. Light in the garage and living room, and the microwave. All I could think, oh Lord please not 2 without 3. But it did happen. My water heater sprayed water out of the knob on top. CHOICE HW repaired it all, without complaining or restrictions. THANK YOU CHOICE HW.

I like Choice Home Warranty because the process to make a claim is super easy - online form to fill out. The technicians are dispatched fast and they are knowledgeable as well. My garage door went on the fritz and Luke came from Ace Garage Doors of Humble and did an amazing job to repair it in a short amount of time. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. My experience with CHW Service personnel has been mixed. The first service person (Tobe) missed his appointment and did not call. When we finally connected, he was unable to repair the ice maker (although he said he did). He disguised a leak by putting a small ashtray inside the unit to catch dripping water. I had spent an hour mopping the floor behind the bar before he arrived. After Tobe left, I checked for any water on the floor and found none. The next morning there was water again covering the entire floor behind the bar. In other words, the ashtray had filled up and overflowed that night. He never forwarded his repair findings to CHW. This situation required exception management steps. At the time additional service personnel in my area were not available to CHW and I had to manage the repair. The unit is now functioning normally and the floor is completely dry. I have reported the facts to the service team, and am waiting to see if CHW will cover the invoice for the repair. My second experience involving a dishwasher repair was excellent. Sam showed up on time, and the unit is now functioning normally. I appreciated his punctuality and efficiency. I sense CHW cares about quality and invites feedback on performance. I will wait to see how the next service visit goes before forming a final opinion about recommending the service to anyone else.

Over the last year I have only had two negative experiences with technicians 1 over charged me saying part of my service call was not covered, it was. And the other day a technician took the job on Tuesday set the appointment for Friday between 11 and 3 Then no call no show. These instances are not the fault of Choice Home Warranty. They have done their best to resolve the problem both times. I am planning to renew my service soon

Our dryer broke down and we contacted Choice Home Warranty. They had a repairman out right away. There were several things wrong with our dryer. A part had to be ordered. It took a bit, but it was worth it. Our dryer is years old. But now it works like it is brand new. The repairman was friendly and very professional. He did a great job. Choice Home Warranty sends out only the best.

The service company originally scheduled to make our repairs twice postponed their visit, after we waited throughout the scheduled arrival window. After the second time we cancelled their service and Choice then scheduled Blue Star Appliance to come out. Blue Star scheduled us promptly. The service man arrived on time. He was very nice and respectful and repaired my washer in less than an hour. I recommend him with enthusiasm.

My garage door would not open. Lights in the garage worked. My brother in law ask me to check my refrigerator, it was not working either. But he called back and said for me to check for a plug in that had been tripped. I checked and sure enough that was the problem. I called choice warranty and canceled my appointment. They were very nice, a tech was coming very quickly. I appreciate the speed of choice warranty.

Quick to respond to the problem. Did not find someone local. Came out of Lawton Ok. Company that was sent did not inspect the kitchen stove too good. They thought the fan motor was out and when they came back with a new motor and pulled the stove out they found that it had just come unplugged. Took too long to respond and too long to order the part and return. Hope they sent the new motor back.

I called to request service and was told there was a long wait but they would call me back and I would not lose my place in line. Never did get a call back that day, and had to call again. I did call and speak with someone the next day and they took the information. I got an email saying I could search for help myself if I wished (at least that was what I understood by the wording) but I did not even try to do that. Then I received an email saying someone would call me and would be to my home within 24 hours. I did receive a call from the tech within 10 minutes and he was right here. He looked at the dryer and said he would check for the element at his shop and if there would be back likely by the end of the week - called the next day and came to fix it within the week. Choice Warranty sort of dropped the ball re the promised call back - but in the long run, I had a working dryer quickly and I was very pleased with the tech.

I liked that the communication was very thorough. For complete customer service and knowledge, 1. The technicians need to show credentials that they are with Choice Home Warranty. 2. The technicians need to provide a written document of receipt and services provided (what was wrong and what was done to fix). The ratings below for trustworthiness and quality are somewhat difficult to provide accurately since I did not receive any without a receipt or any proof of service from the technician. I still am unsure of what was wrong, how it was fixed, services provided. I'd probably be able to give you a more accurate / better rating if I had that from the technician. Regards, Kathryn

I was actually skeptical about the choice home warranty. I’m so glad that I just said get just in case. It has really paid off. I’ve had to use them four times now and each time they provided excellent service and sent professionals out to do the repairs. Now, the thing that I don’t like about the program is that if you just happen to fix the issue before your date it is almost impossible to cancel it. If you cancel through the company that they booked with. You don’t hear any feed back. Feed back is always good.

Great response. my claim was created the same day I called in. I received an email within the hour with service provider information. EMS Home Services contacted me the next day with a scheduled time/day. I confirmed. EMS Home Services technician arrived on time and fixed the problem with my heating unit within an hour. He was very profession and easy to work with. Excellent experience. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

Received appointment within a day of calling. The technician was professional and attentive in tracing the problem. Water was dripping inside my storage room from the main waterline from the street. He turned off the water from the main source left, left to get parts, returned and did the repairs all within 2 hrs. He returned to check his work and we both were satisfied.

Technician was late, but texted me why and when he would be able to arrive. When he arrived he identified himself and immediately began working on my washer. He eliminated possibilities and came to the only possibility, When he left, he let me know I would be notified by CHW with your results and recommendations. He was unable to complete the repair because he did not have the part needed with him. As soon as he receives the part he will complete the repair. I am very pleased to this point.

I like the Plan and Contract I received. what I didn't like was that the agent I spoke with on the Feb 4,2021 said he was going to call me back in 15 minutes when the total amount would not go through my bank...to give me time to contact my bank and OK the withdrawal. He never called me back. When I asked if I could pay the total amount in 2 payments he said, "No". Then I find out that half the amount was taken from my bank account without my permission. and when I called to find out what was going on they told me that the amount taken out was only half of the total and the other half will come out in one month. What upsets me is that the first agent I talked with never called me back to tell me he was approving the 2 payments on the total amount. Just one call back would have made all the difference in the world. This rating is only for my first impressions. I have not received any other service from CHW.

One person, one call for starters. Beat my previous home warranty with Fidelity National by 140 dollars with better coverages and provided additional coverages like sprinkler systems and roof repairs, which weren't even offered by the previous company. You didn't hear children screaming and yelling in the background either; seriously. My representative was easy to understand, and knowledgeable about his companies product unlike the previous guys. All in all, a completely different and superior customer service experience, and capable representation.

We like conversing with the people we talked with, especially Andrew M who signed us up for a total plan plus the hot tube we have, central vacuum, and a second refrigerator we have in the garage totaling annually $774.00 ($64.50 plus a questionable charge of $5.50 month, probably a monthly surcharge).... I recently switched to First Choice Warranty and have been very pleased with their professional service. Their callback system is efficient, and they respond quickly to issues. I've had several interactions, and each time, the technicians were knowledgeable and effective. Overall, First Choice has exceeded my expectations compared to previous warranty companies.

My service request has not been fulfilled as yet. The first appointment is still two days away, so this review seems a little premature. However, I can say that the process of filing my claim was extremely easy and that the appointment was made within 12 hours of my filing the request. That all seems quite efficient to me. I only hope the actual repair/replacement will be as efficiently handled. That remains to be seen.

They were unable to get a service person to come work on my electrical system so they gave me the option of finding my own repair man. I did find a repair man and if I work through the paperwork appropriately they will reimburse me for the work that he will do. The customer service representative so I have spoken with on the phone have been helpful and courteous.
