Choice home warranty makes life a lot simpler. Prior to having a warranty I would have to call around and get a least three quotes and was unsure about whom was coming to my home. Now I don’t have that hassle what a relief. I just call Choice speak to the automatic service and the next day they sent a professional to fix my issue. The professional even came when it was convenient for me because I had to work that day. Choice Home Warranty was one of the best decisions that I have made as an 18 yr. home owner. There is nothing about this decision that I do not like…….

I have had this company before in the past and it very affordable. But when I called today, am the service guy overcharged me and charged my card without my full authorization and now I need a refund on my account. He was trying so hard to upsell me that it was super annoying. When someone says no that should be it. After hanging up on him, he still charged by card for the full amount. Please have someone call me back. Thanks.

Wow! Choice Home Warrenty was so fast at responding to my call and sent a washer and dryer repair man in just 1 day! Unfortunately the dryer is not fixable. Choice Home Warrenty is going to give me credit for about 334$. But again Unfortunately they are giving me a gift card to Lowes. It's so Unfortunate because I purchased a new dryer from Home Depot. Other than that they are great.

I contacted Choice Home Warranty as my oven was not working. They started immediately on my claim and by the afternoon of the same day I had an appointment with a service tech. It was determined that the part needed to repair the oven was no longer available. With that in mind, Choice Home Warranty issued me a gift card to go toward the cost of a new oven of comparable features. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. Our washer was leaking, CHW sent out service provider. He was unable to repair it. He let CHW know & it was only a few hours when we got an email from them saying how much they would give us towards another washer. My only complaint is if service had been quicker I wouldn’t have been 10 days without my washing machine. We are thankful to CHW for being so prompt with helping us get a new washer!

Contacted via internet to open claim. Choice set up the apptmt. Emailed me the time and company and a phone number for them. The repairman came on time and called before he arrived. He was pleasant, respectful and very focused on his work. He worked diligently and quickly and had the problem resolved in less than 30 minutes I am happy to have Choice overage and appreciate the prompt attention. To my problem And issues.

This was my first claim and it was handled in a very timely manner. I had no direct contact with anyone. I submitted my claim online, they responded with an email letting me know that they scheduled an AC company to come out, in less than 48 hours my claim was approved, and the technicians fixed the issue . I am very satisfied with CHW and I will recommend them to friends and family.

This is the first time that I have had a claim with this company. My Drier Stopped working. I received an email about 24 hours after I submitted the claim. I then received a phone call the next day from the Repair Person wanting the model # of the machine. I thought this was smart so he could research and maybe have the correct replacement parts. The Repair person arrived within the window I was told and was able to get the machine working again. I am vey pleased.

When my dishwasher quit mid-cycle, I contacted Choice Home Warranty. Their response was very fast, as was the response from the technician they sent. Jason from Lone Star Appliance Repair was thorough, cheerful and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Although the problem was only a thrown breaker, at 73 with a breaker box I cannot reach without a ladder, it was worth it to have someone fix it and make sure the dishwasher was working. Great service all around.

The company is honest, fast and friendly. My A/C went out in few days. They got it fixed and replaced my new motor. It’s worth to have a good home warranty insurance company for your house. Less worrying for the hot summer when your A/C broke down or your plumbing leaking in your house. I highly recommend to all my friends and family. Been a Choice Home Warranty customer for 5 years now. Provides peace of mind from big repairs. Whenever there is a issue, I have always had to escalate to get things done, but not this time. The Garbage Disposal motor burnt out. Technician was sent the next day the claim was made and a new Garbage Disposal was approved and replaced within couple of hours. Was very much thrilled with this experience and hope it continues.

My refrigerator went out, where it would not get cold or freeze. I went on line to put in a claim. I received a quick reply stating that a technician will be coming out to service my refrigerator. We came as scheduled and wasn't able to repair my refrigerator. Of course I paid my 65.00 service fee. He called hours later and said I should receive an email in regards to my fridge from Choice Home. And I did. Open the email with a congratulations on replacement of my refrigerator. The only thing that I disagreed upon replacing my fridge with a single door refrigerator, Although I have a side by side. Speaking it's really an older refrigerator. They offer me a ecard to Lowes. For a fraction of the price I paid for it. It would have been great if I had cash app. So I could have bought a fairly new used one of my choice. But I'm happy with the outcome I would just add a little extra for a new one. On the other hand if it had of been newer. That would have be a problem. Now I'm waiting on that ecard to Lowes. Oooh It could take up to 30 days. That's sucks.

I just had my first experience with your company. The repair appointment was made immediately and the technician arrived on time. He was polite and cordial and I had no concerns until he was ready to leave. I noticed a stain on my tiles just outside of the laundry room that looked like it was caused by some sort of grease. The technician insisted that he used a tarp or carpet on which to work and that the discoloration on my tiles were not his doing. All I know is that the stain was not there prior to the repair. This is the third time I am relating this story to you in a survey. I still have not received any response from your end!

I called as soon as my appliance needed service (on 07/03). The person who answered the call was very prompt. I received an email within a couple of hours with a response that the tech would be able to accommodate us on 07/05. This is really amazing being July 4th Holiday weekend and I was expecting a response that the next availability would be another week. The appliance company came as promised and fixed the dishwasher very quickly.

I have been a client of CHW for a couple of years now and they have never failed to respond PROMPTLY when I file a claim. Only once did my insurance did not cover an issue. The icemaker on my refrigerator. But that's alright. Just check your policies closely before filing your claim. They were nice about it. My lights and plumbing issues were handled successfully within 24 hours (except during the holidays). I've never had to recall any work performed. I recommend this company.

My refrigeration unit in my garage was not performing well. CHW dispatched a technician from SEARS repair services and kept me abreast of the scheduling on the technicians arrival to the day. The Sears technician was very professional and diagnosed the issue promptly and ordered the necessary parts needed to bring the unit back up. The Sears technician has already scheduled the return date to make the full repair. Sears & CHW performed great in this case.

I saw choice as the #1 of top 5 home warranties. I made a Call to get info and what I was told the coverage is great and the monthly cost is great. I am currently insured with 1st American and I have been dealing with them back and forth different info for the past 2weeks plus because of a broken ac and still it has not been resolved. They have been having me thru hoops. Due to the heat a motel had to be rented and I borrowed money to get a new unit. Still do not have an answer from 1st American. The agent at CHOICE was friendly. helpful and to get covered took just a few minutes.

My experience with Choice Home warranty is very positive. 90% of time they are on target. Only on time I had to deal with a snoty sales Rep.But overall is excellent. I had an issue with my Air condition and they were on top of this problem. Only my request is to listen to customer and try to understand their frustration. They might use some layman language and please send the technician to home to check out problem before you make your conclusion of denial.But again you are on top of issues and do the best to solve the problem.

Technicians showed up promptly, and checked all the functions of my cooling system after I explained the problem I was having. They performed an accurate diagnosis and fixed the problem immediately. They gave me advice on proper maintenance and operation all the heating and cooling systems in my home. Great service. Choice home was also very prompt in scheduling my service once I made the call. I am currently renovating my home and this took a lot of stress off me. Thanks again!

And is fixed in less than 24 hours, and because your on Choice Home Warranty you get a $300 repair for $85. Not sure how often, but I definitely got to experience it in real time. They have a very efficient automated system for claim processing. Enter a new claim and you get almost immediate feedback. I found that scheduling with repairmen was very prompt. I only waited a couple of days for someone to come to our home. My only complaint is that it took two visits to have Choice agree to a replacement and then, the replacement will cost me $400.00 in addition to paying $65.00 each for the two service visits. Maybe it's a persistence test? Our contract runs out in two months and I'm leaning 55/45 towards renewing. Don't get the impression that a claim will be covered for no additional charge. I will have more observations once the replacement takes place. Heck, right now I don't know if "replacement" is the entire outside unit or just the compressor. The technician says it only needs a compressor.

The agent was very informative about what is covered with the warranty. She was able to answer my questions and set up a payment plan that would be the best for me. We were able to get the Senior/disability discount which was also very helpful. I feel I had a very positive experience, and while I don't look forward to things breaking down in my house, I look forward to getting service under the warranty if and when I need it.

Our air conditioner stopped cooling and I was very concerned tgat it was going to be a total loss and very expensive replacement. Then I remembered I had Choice Home Warranty coverage, I went to their on line portal and make a claim. And got an appointment set up for two days later. I was concerned it was to far in the future, so I called the service tech directly and he was able to come out the next day. The fee was only $85, as outlined in my agreement, and they covered everything else. All the reaprs were done and we are nice and coole again!

Choice Home Warranty provided piece of mind when I purchased my new house. Although the Seller picked and paid for the service, I have been pleased with the response to my home repair requests. Although they were minor repairs, they were resolved without any issues for Choice Home Warranty. As with most home warranty companies, it did take a couple of days to get someone out to look at things. Do not expect someone to show up the day an issues is reported or the next day (in all of my cases). This could vary based on homeowner location as some may have more repair contractors than others.

I have been with this company for almost ten years and never have problems placing claims with them. Customer service is awesome, the monthly premium is pretty reasonable. They can send a technician right away. Highly recommended to get warranty for your house because a lot of things can break down specially if you’re not handyman 🙂. Thanks CHW for your promptness in these urgent situations . At one point I didn't know how I was going to have things fixed to the Holy Spirit telling me to get a home warranty plan , so I did. Sometimes the $85.00 is too much but by the grace of GOD I manage . My son and his family were displaced by the pandemic and have been with me His wife left him with a 3mth old that will be a year on the 24th of this month . It hasn't been easy . I have called the company twice this year. Both times it was for the same reason. First visit the contractor said it was not an AC leak but a roof problem. After a few weeks when the leak came back, this time it actually leaked through the ceiling into and onto my washing machine. I called a roofer, through CHW and when the contractor came and looked at problem, he discovered that the drainage pipes were not connected properly thus causing this leak. Back to CHW to get AC contractor back and this gentlemen fix the problem of the drainage pipes not being connected. I still have the damage caused by the leaking in my closed by washing machine.

Even though I have to purchase a complete new unit I could see why and was in complete agreement with everything he said. So bottom line - I do have to spend a lot of money - I am confident when my unit is replaced it will be done correctly which is the important part.

"ALL" Customer Care Agents (Kelvin, Samantha, Lisa and Derrick) whom I spoke with today were very professional. These professional were either employed with Choice Home Warranty or the Servicing Representatives connected with A& E Factory Service(Associated with Sears Home Improvement), responsible for assigning their Technician to come to my home to fix my appliance were great. My issue was when your Choice Home Warranty Agent accidently identified the Dryer rather than the Washing machine as needing repairs upon submitting my Claim request. So I was concerned that the Technician was going to tell me too call and put in another claim When he (James) arrived there was no need to fix the washing machine . A closer look in side revealed that there was a penny stuck inside the base of the washing machine which caused the spin cycle to malfunction. Once I removed it with a butter knife the turn cycle started to work just fine. Therefore, no charge required.

On Christmas Eve we found that the supply side of the dishwasher valve under the sink was leaking badly. After turning off the hot water at the heater in the attic, I put in a service request to CHW. On the morning of the first working day CHW got back to me and said that they had not yet found a CHW service tech, but authorized us to call our own if desired. We did, and I had a service tech at our home the next afternoon. He needed to go get some parts. I completed the online information that CHW required, and they approved the $265 repair within about 15 minutes. The service tech returned the next day and completed the repair. Now I just have to wait 30 days for CHW to send me a check.

Jack, the Customer Representative with whom I talked was personable, efficient, proficient on his job and seemed to be knowledgeable of the needs and concerns of a senior citizen and how my needs might differ from other customers. Also, living on a fixed pension income he also gave me the senior discount. In a world of making a quick buck, it was refreshing to do business with someone that not only had his eye on the bottom line but also my needs, protection and safety. Only time will tell for sure but I have a good feeling about this company and its employees. We will see.

The representative was polite and respectful. He was patient in explaining the different options and in answering my questions. The biggest problem I have with Choice is the way they conduct their sales negotiations. They start off like any car salesman with their lead in price then if their is any hesitancy by the buyer they offer slightly better price. By this time I am starting to feel nauseous and you are hit with yet another "special" offer which makes me want to forget the whole thing. Why not cut the crap and just offer your best price right up front? We are not stupid! We know what you are doing and you would gain more respect and customers by avoiding the used car salesman approach. It is such a big turn off and nobody likes it.

I called about a leaking washing machine. The technician came over and told me the seal and bearing needed to be replaced. I let Choice Home Warrenty know about the diagnosis. Everything went smoothly. The parts came in today, and the technician came out on Saturday and fixed the washer! I am real happy with Choice Home Warrenty and the way they expedited my case. I would give 5 stars, for appt times, very happy with Choice and service calls. However, I can not give this rating when something needs replaced. Every time something needs replaced there is always some reason they say they don’t cover it. And the process starts trying to get the covered appliance or in this case a toilet replaced. Nope not covered due to chemical marks. Where you ask do you see them! You don’t, that’s because the toilet is older, that’s what I was told. So they won’t replace it. Ask for someone else above the person, I’m told there was no one else to talk to she made the final decision. And I can not go above her. There always seems to be a reason they do not cover replacing anything. I love having a home warranty, I never have to worry about who should I call. What kind of company will come. If they are a reputable business . I also wish that Choice would offer a 1 time a year A/C cleaning in the contract. One it benefits me to get it done each year and 2nd because in my view it benefits Choice because they know customers are maintaining the unit. I would not mind that 1 time charge added to my contract with a reasonable fee for it.

The technician called to give notice when he would arrive and he was on time, much appreciated. He was attentive and patient when I explained the problem with the upstairs HVAC unit. He inspected the unit, took pictures, adjusted the Freon level. He subsequently informed me of what he did and, due to the age of the unit, advised that he would consult with the owner of the company regarding any needed additional repairs. The technician was knowledgeable and very professional. I was very pleased with the service.

Excellent customer support and response time. Just over the last 6 months we had our front load washer breakdown and they provided quick support and then just a few days later my hot water tank failed as it began to leak and they replaced with a new tank. I highly recommend Choice Home warranty as you never know when appliances will break down but eventually they do and then you are covered.

I haven't used it so far so this review is only based on the phone call I receive. I downgraded a star for being so rushed on the phone. I literally typed in my number and got a call before I had a chance to look at the information online and he didn't explain anything. I had to ask questions but I was still rushed along like he only wanted a quick sale since he was asking for my credit card info. If I wasn't really in the market for this today I would have been very put off. He was nice enough but needs to slow down a minute. I hope I bought the right policy since I don't know much about it yet...

I have had the warranty since February. I was fed up with my previous warranty as they took forever to complete a service call and I could never talk to a person. If I did talk to a person I was always transferred at least once. This was my first claim, I spoke with someone immediately and the service was completed within 4 hours of placing the claim. Great experience so far!

Jack was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained clearly how we could get a much better value purchasing the 5 year plus one year free! He also asked us if we had other property that we could get an additional discount. We do and have now covered it as well. I was a bit off when it was only auto response. But this was my first time so I played along. To my surprise I was given an appointment for the Monday. This was Sunday evening mind you. The service company (D&J Doors) called first thing Monday morning. He was able to answer a question I had about coverage and was quick with a quote for my non covered problem. He also was able to get the job done in the AM instead of the PM appointment that was made. Bless Home Choice and mostly D&J Doors for their quick response and great repair and price.

I have always had good servicemen send out for my problems. They come in a timely matter do the work clean up their mess and I have no problems with choice paying them. Also Adrian Saunders is the main reason I came back to choice because he was so nice when I first I said I wanted to shop around he did not give me a hard time and he said he would call me back periodically which he did and he was always nice. I made a claim at about 8pm and the technician was at my home before 9am the next day, made the repair and now all is well. I’m so glad to have Choice home warranty as the go to when I need help in getting repairs made to my home. Amazing!!!

I have had a Choice Home Warrenty Policy for 2 years now and this is an outstanding company. They produce exactly as they promise… excellent service and response to handle the problem. My most recent experience is with an Air Conditioning system. The technician who came was professional and knowledgeable and responded quickly to help move things along.
