I have used Choice Home Warranty twice in the past 2 months. Once for my dishwasher that died after 20 years, and once because my AC was not cooling. as to the dishwasher - I had to wait a while to get someone to come check the old machine out (a week) but they wee great when they got here. They determined it needed to be replaced since they could not get parts to repair it due to the age. CHW agreed to send me a check so that I could replace it. It took 3 to 4 weeks to get the money and they did not provide nearly enough to replace it, but it was 20 years old. As to the AC claim, I called them and they had one of their certified technicians come out about 5 days later. He had it fixed in no time at all!!!! The only complaint about the AC claim was the length of time to get someone to come out to fix it. But they are getting tech's that work for other companies so they have other jobs to do already and cannot just drop what they are doing to gt your machine fixed. If you have proper expectations when you get a home warranty, you can see that they did a very good job at taking care of my claims!!!! I would give them 4 stars. everyone has room for improvement and it would have been nice to have gotten the AC working sooner than 5 days out. Thank you for your assistance!!!!

I called choice home warranty my refrigerator was leaking water from under it and it had been doing it for 2 or 3 days and it wasn't a lot but I was worried about what it was and I finally called choice home warranty they said that they would be coming out and it came out the next day very punctual call me before they came very nice young man Cain named Brandon he came in looked at the refrigerator found the problem no sooner they looked at it I was so satisfied and my stress level went come down. Thank you Brandon!

Excellent service for our plumbing THE knowledgeable tech arrived on Memorial day.He still continues to work on this unexpected skilfully.. our other claim for the refrigerator is no completed.However they had to rush the parts I have had this plan since November.I never had to file a claim.I am very satisfied with Kent working on our project. I have used my warranty several times. It is very useful and worth the price. My most recent claim was when my air conditioner broke down. It is not able to be repaired anymore and requires replacement which has been approved by Choice. Can’t tell you much about the replacement product or the quality of the replacement, process of getting it replaced because the job has not taken place yet. I know I will have to come out of pocket some but not as much as buying a whole new unit myself. It is annoying that they ask me to give a review before any service has been completed. The technician they sent out to look at it verified it wasn’t able to be repaired and seemed very good and knowledgeable. That’s all I know so far.

I called to get a quote for my home warranty and spoke to Joe. He asked about my house size and what I was looking for, how long I wanted coverage, how I wanted to pay, ( monthly vs yearly) what my budget was etc just to see what my needs were. Joe is very knowledgeable and was able to assist me in a plan for the best coverage at a price that fits my budget. This was a excellent experience.

CHW has been easy to work with and has almost consistently addressed our problems with the exception of some sprinkler/irrigation issues. We have been happy with the contractors they have sent to perform repairs. CHW has been very responsive when we contacted them for repairs. We are happy with CHW and much happier than we were with one of their competitors.

I recently had an issue with my washer/dryer unit and filed a claim with Choice. Everything was quick and easy on the website. I was able to change my appointment time with the assigned tech easily and, since the repair would have been too expensive, they offered to replace the whole unit. I'm very happy with Choice Home Warranty, it's pretty inexpensive for the peace of mind they offer.

Dryer has failed, broken heating element/wire almost every year. Yes, it would get fixed. Switched to Choice, now I can add to why it is best rated. Never had any service call, completely taken apart, with multiple tests. Thermostat and a faulty wiring was found. both were replaced along with a new heating element! Also fixed the door latches that at times popped open. Seems like new again!

I have been a customer of a competitor for home for about 7 years. I stopped paying for the service as a friend who is very handy does most of the work himself as he owns rentals. As I told Chris J during our initial conversation, that I used to do repairs myself but became disabled and can hardly do anything! Having a plan with Choice Home Warranty will allow me to sleep through the night!! The technician CHW sent for our bathroom sink faucet repair was awesome! Robert not only replaced the faucets, but he also replaced the turn off valves. I'm not sure if CHW reimbursed him for the costs of the faucet and valves; I do hope they did. CHW tried sending me another plumber for a leaking kitchen faucet several days later, but I requested Robert, RKS OK Plumbing, and CHW did authorize him (after a little bit of a hassle). This time I bought the replacement faucet and the extra tubing required at a cost of $125.00, and CHW is only reimbursing me $70. I can understand only reimbursing $70 for the faucet, as they state in our agreement they replace with Builder Grade only, but the extra tubing ($20+) should have been reimbursed. I also have had issues with my washing machine that CHW has taken care of...so far. The washer itself is poorly engineered, and I will be contacting Whirlpool directly about that. Again, the tech, Jamaal, is great. All in all, I would recommend CHW, but mainly because of their technicians.

We were not satisfied with our previous home warranty company, which the coverage just expired. So, we narrowed our choices down to three companies; Choice, AHS, and Select. Although AHS and Select thought they were making us offers we couldn't refuse (sorry for the Godfather quote), Michael L at Choice was the only one that did not sound like a used car salesman, was patient answering all our questions thoroughly, and more than willing to work with us extensively on price and service fees. This is why we went with Choice; price, coverage, and customer service. Hopefully if we ever do have to file a service request with Choice, we receive the same OUTSTANDING customer care, service, and support that Michael L. provided!

Ive had the warranty for about 15 months and never used it until last week. I had to file 3 claims due to ice snow storm that hit. Took out proper function of furnace, electric in one full room and part of livingroom and my oven doesn't heat up to set temp. The day after claims, heater repair showed up and got me fixed. Less than a week later, the electric came and fixed my electric issue. I currently have appt for the oven for Wed but I will have to reschedule as I cannot make their time. Ive had two issues fixed in a weeks time, paid only $75 so far and my third issue has appt. They have been great to set appts and notify via email. I need to be better to check email daily as technicians were changed and I was like Who are you lol. I haven't had any major appliance issues that couldnt be repaired so I cannot speak on replacement, only repairs. With that, so far with claims, Im satisfied with my coverage. I purchased a 4 year plan paid in full at signing. I would recommend this company. I have had no trouble whatsoever.
