The technicians are sent out fairly quickly but sometimes they are not the best ones available. I had a technician come out recently to fix a problem another created. Some of the agents I’ve talked with have been very helpful but I have fought with some over simple projects because they say the condition was preexisting.

I have been without air conditioning now for over 3 weeks. The technician has been out here 4 times already. Replaced the blower motor on the furnace and made adjustments and now thinks it's a TXV valve but wasn't sure and wanted to have someone else look at it. There were miscommunications and he was supposed to come out today but the part is on back order and rescheduled for Saturday unless the part doesn't come in. So it will be a full 4 weeks without air conditioning

I feel that I should be reimbursed for the purchased garbage disposal?!!! I purchased a 1/4 hsp badger insinkerator from Home Depot on 6/12/21 for $116.63 and installed it myself.

only used you two times both times I had to replace the products on my own due to the service people you sent were telling me that they couldnt find the manufacture numbers on the dryer hence I had to pay for a new one. When issues with the washer arose your service person got the machine to work & as soon as I put a load of laundry in it ceased working & once again I had to replace the product. I dont feel that paying the amount of money we pay you is worth it as you do NOTHING !!!

Customer Service is horrible, they don't really listen to you and repeat canned responses. The technicians are a hit or miss and mostly miss for me. I had one show up a day early, at night, and unannounced because he was "in the area", I had another fix a ceiling light leaving a huge 2inch gap around the base plate because he installed the wrong size, so I was basically looking into my attic; he also "cleaned up" by shaking everything off onto my INDOOR doormat leaving leaves and debris all over the front entrance. I called you all to complain and said I did not want him to return to fix it (the guy was sketchy and the job done was insulting) yet he showed up the next day and stayed in my driveway for several minutes, ringing my phone, door, the works, then he leaves to only return and stay there. It was a scary experience and he finally texted that he was outside and yet again now I had to explain that I did not want him there. Yet another one, a plumber, entered my home with no shoe covering and tracked red mud from the rain throughout my house (to this day, I have the stains on my bedroom carpet). For these reasons, I'm not renewing.

May 4, 2021 I filed my first claim for the air conditioner that wasn't working. The repair person hired by Choice replaced the fan on the unit. I didn't need the air conditioner again until June 6. The air conditioner did not turn on. I again called Choice, who sent the same repair person. When he tried to turn on the unit there was a loud pop. He then told me I needed a new condenser. Choice denied the claim saying the malfunction was due to a build up of dirt in the filter. I called our local technician who found the newly installed fan was rotating in the wrong direction and one fuse was blown. He installed the fan properly and replaced the fuse and my air conditioner is now working. I sent the invoice from the company that repaired the unit which outlined their findings to my Choice case manager as instructed. I have not had direct communication from Choice since then. It is impossible to call the first assigned case manager, as they do not provide a phone number.

First we were issued a check for $350 to buy a new dish washer, can't fined a dishwasher for that amount. Second we made a claim over a week ago for what you called a plumbing stoppage. I have not been notified if and when this will be repaired. I was told that action on the claim would be handled with in 24 to 48 hours. I have had to clean up water ever day for over a week.

You were non responsive to my AC problem when I called back after my appointment. The company you sent came out to repair my AC on Wednesday, did not return for one week with a part they normally carry on their truck. I was without my AC for 9 days. I don't consider that good service. When I informed you on Friday after 2 days since first visit by tech. I got the old run around. Choice let me contact them and find out what is the problem.' No return call by you. I wish I had never signed on for 3 more years. When the tech returned the following We'd. He acted shocked that nobody had com out for a simple part replacement. He changed the part in 10 minutes and left. Something is wrong with this picture.. why don't you give me my money back and that way I can sign on with another maintenance company.

On 5/25 - Air Zone- an A/C company was scheduled to inspect my A/C because of an oily leak in the air handler which has been affecting the air in my home. This company came out twice & insisted there were "no leaks" but it is very obvious an oily substance is leaking and dripping on the A/C coil. I have been having respiratory problems and dizziness since this started. I just called Choice Hm Warranty to schedule another company to come to fix this problem. This problem is affecting my health - I need a reputable company to help fix this problem ASAP.

The warranty is OK, but please read all of the exceptions that are noted because they substantially limit or provide for total denial of your claims. Even though a part in my a/c was covered by the manufacturer warranty Choice refused to pay for the labor. As long as there are no exceptions, and there are a bunch of them, Choice is OK.

AS with most home warranties, they DO NOT COVER items which is related to the prime unties, example AC brakes, say the fuel valve is bad, they won't cover replacement, or if the total AC unite craps out, again NO REPLACEMENT... people check your warranty plan, most are to vague.

In most cases, they would be around a 3 or a 4, but with this claim specifically, the way it was handled from start until I had to cancel it was horrible. I understand the repair is pricey and the part is not readily available; but I was told for 3 weeks, "the part will be there for the technician to pick up tomorrow" and kept getting strung along. I allowed this only because the alternative is an $8000 out of pocket expense to replace my air conditioning. Unfortunately after the continued lies or false information, I had to cut the claim loose and am replacing my system at my cost. If they had been honest up front, I could have either made this decision sooner or decided to wait. The part that made this unbearable is I can't trust any timeline they give for anything regarding this repair. Would it be another day, a week, the whole summer? They refused to do any work to try to really help me with my claim. I repeatedly requested to discuss any other options and was told the only option was to wait. In a case like this, where the part was clearly not available, they needed to somehow make it right by giving me some kind of cash option based on what their cost for the repair was going to be to help me with my cost. I would not have purchased a new system if they had been able to handle the claim.

Could write a book. Heat and A/C went out. |Called and they sent out a tech who said thermos was bad and he ha aid over $600.00 to have it installed Different tech came out and got A/C going but not the heat. Tech company called me and said Choice needed a new work order # .I called Choice to get it and I kid you not I was disconnected by their reps at least 10 times. I asked for a supervisor as it was their request. Got one who immediately advised case denied. I said it was your request and she again repeated case denied and said she was going to hang up. She did and here I sit with a job half done with no recourse.

HOWEVER last year my kitchen ceiling fan was replaced with a very poor substitute -much too dim for the location. Fought with CHOICE for weeks! Finally contacted Better Business Bureau. CHOICE FINALLY SETTLED FOR A FAIR PRICE FOR An adequate fan pilus labor to install it.

If I could give zero I would. Gave us the run around about replacing our AC and send a rejection letter for replacing my system saying it was dirty. The hvac team that did the recommendation for replacement said that they never said those things to them and that CHW falsely added that to the report so they wouldn't have to be responsible to replace it. The funny thing is that the parts they claim that were dirty, they just paid days prior to replace. They are brand new parts! They did pay for the repair so that was nice but its beyond repair now so they flaked out leaving an Active duty military member and his family in 90° Temps. I warn you to stay far far far away. Look on the BBB site and do your homework because I didn't and im paying 8k for that mistake.
