1st experience was timely (w/in 2 days, & repairman was prompt & professional. Last week, repairman to come for AC 3 days later… a no show. The reschedule couldn’t take me til 5 days later. I was out of AC for 8 days on hottest days of year in LA. Repairman, did do a great job…. Just the delay was unacceptable!

Customer support is pretty responsive to an increase in our claims so far. We have several times where we needed to use our warranty and we filed a claim online and they sent someone to come and fix it and pretty timely manner. Most cases we've had some issues but so far it's been taken care of the most part. One Issues that has been resolved has really only been partially resolved and the specialists that they sent out, although they've been nice and professional, the company has not backed up with the professionals have recommended and so we're having continuing issues with assistance that were under warranty. They send out really great professional people and then when the professionals make the recommendations on how to do the repairs and what's required Choice doesn't really approve what needs to be done so we end up just keep having to call for more more claims. They are very attentive, but the issues aren't really being addressed once and for all.

The process is pretty easy when I file a claim. I had a claim that I have a mixed feelings about. It was regarding a microwave, so the technician came and he collected his deductible for the service costs at the time he came to service the house. Choice home warranty decided that it needed to be replaced but they only offered me an amount that is not the proper amount to replace. I was kinda disappointed.

Customer service is pretty good. The price is pretty good. They do pretty good work as far as returning phone calls. I don't like all the decisions they make. I am in the process of fixing a plumbing issue. It is a second week. He is trying to resolve it but they are trying to deny it.

Nothing is perfect. I had to call a couple times about the ceiling fan and I got no justification. They said it was after the thirty days but it wasn't. I am upset about that. They gave me a good price for my old refrigerator.

I am happy with the service but there could be a little more transparency. The person I spoke with on the phone didn't have any knowledge or authority to discuss why things were happening or policy. My water heater went bad and they replaced it but there were about three hundred dollars that I needed to cover. I couldn't find anywhere in the policy where it stated what would be covered. It is frustrating. The technician was very good and it was overall done quickly and it wasn't too bad.

At this point I am not very happy with them. In the beginning it was pretty good. They came out and serviced my item that I needed taken care of. A couple of months back, I had a problem with my bathroom and they wouldn't repair it because it was only part of a whole unit. The other times they did the work they were supposed to. They just haven't replaced something.

All questions and issues are not usually resolved without calling in multiple times. Just recently had to use my warranty to replace my garbage disposal, the automated system logged the file incorrectly so we had to wait over an hour while the technician got in contact with someone from choice to approve the repair, which was a huge inconvenience because we had a baby and he was already an hour late and it made us even further behind and he didn't care for our time. I'm just holding on to the service until we sell the home.

Customer service reps don't seem to be able to help much. Customer service does not get involved and help with issues with the repair started. I use my warranty to repair my washing machine and the repairman had to come out four or five times and customer service couldn't help with that issue.

Our AC went out yesterday or last week and a technician came in yesterday repaired it and I'm very happy with service the technician provided. I cannot choose the contractor we want to come out to do the work. And I have no choice but to take the one that they send. The automated system is difficult to navigate and understand.

I've only called twice and both times customer service was great. I had problems with two of the toilets at my house and they were able to come and fix not only the one part but then they realized another part wasn't working correctly so they replaced that also.

I would not recommend the choice home warranty because everything they told me didn't work out at all, they just give me a very hard time when I need service. A while back my stove was bad. They wanted to replacethe appliance because they couldn't repair my oven and it was given the ridiculous pricing. Cut a long story short I'd have to pay for the labor to remove and install. It took me several weeks and almost two months to get a settlement from that. They told me things that they would take care of and they never did, so I had to argue and fight with them to get a decent price on that and I still didn't get the right price to replace my items.

I've had to use in twice for bathroom issues and they contacted somebody who came pretty quickly and solved the issues, There's no hassle about it, I have to use it twice for my refrigerator ice maker and that was not a good experience. The person who came just said that the problem was plumbing they couldn't do anything and I paid $35 for them to not do anything. I got the water connected and it's still not working so I'm hesitant to call again because it could cost me $150 to get it working.

Well they couldn't get somebody when there was an air conditioning problem, so I ended up calling someone else and paying someone to do it. The second time was better. The guy came and there was an electrical problem, so he replaced the Fuse and the replaced one of the breakers. It turns out it was the control switch from the dishwasher. So I had to get a new one, so I went and got a new dishwasher. It's just been pretty good.

The last time I use my warranty with for a dryer. They came out they couldn't fix it on the spot so they ordered the part and then they came back and fix it. My last service visit they were prompt and they could take care of everything. I've had problems with some of the technicians and I have called choice to explain to customer service because they said they covered it, but too much time had passed for them to assist me in that matter, but they've been there when I've called in for other issues and they were helpful.

We have to call several times we don't get people and its like they don't care about what we are feeling. I called for my water heater that was was broke and waited on hold for twenty minutes until I was able to get somebody. I had to call in again and again on hold and they finally sent somebody to fix the water heater. They say that they sent me an email saying that I'd have to pay $650 out of my pocket, I never saw that email. They never asked for my consent. They just sent somebody and when the water heater was installed. The guy said you owe me $650 and that was a nightmare, because I had to pay that amount of money out of my pocket.

Usually they can get someone to come out within a week, I’m not happy with them suggesting we get our own repair person then be reimbursed. This process is not what was sold to us, I do understand that they probably have trouble getting repair technicians. If your furnace went out in the winter, this would be a big issue.,

They do work and cover things but ran into an issue where they have a VERY low cap of coverage. Like $500 max coverage on well, or septic, or plumbing, 250 towards items such as oven,dishwasher, dryer, and washer. Anything over cap is up to the claim owner. But if they aim to only hit cap or less its nearly impossible to get a technician to the house. So they ask you to pay the tech up front and choice will reimburse the amount (up to $500, knowing it will be over)

My service fee was increased without me being informed from $60 to $85. This a huge increase. I have experienced rude reps on atleast two occasions. Recently I submitted a claim regarding my freezer and explained that I had food in it and needed someone to come rather quick. I was assured that there would be an attempt to get someone to me soon and that I would be contacted and updated, but no one ever did.

I fused CHW twice. The first time they came and fixed my dishwasher in the very next day and that was fabulous. This time I needed them to repair my refrigerator and that took 22 days that is unacceptable someone from CHW supposedly wrote and said they had reported it to I don't know somebody else within the business and I would be hearing from them which I never have. So for these reasonsI gave them a three.

the item was fixed but took two weeks to do so, I had to do follow up with plumber to schedule appointment when part came in. Parts should be readily available overnight delivery, waiting two to three weeks to fix a toilet is not necessary.

Had a few service calls. Unfortunately all in two weeks on 3 different appliances. Of the 3 (paid service fee for each), only one was partially covered. The others were not. So not only am I paying monthly for coverage and on top of that paying for service call but not covered. Coincidence? And the one that was covered service company that replaced ice makers it didn't work and when different serve an came back he noticed that it was not a new part that was installed and perhaps that's why it didn't produce ice after 24 hours which I was told it would. So a new ice maker was ordered and still waiting for parts sept to research whether in stock for scheduling of repair or whether it is in stock. Sorry fir ear full but am not happy right now,

It is very helpful. We had our main shower drain backed up and they sent somebody out the next day and I think the price is right. We also had issue with the pipes and they put a hole wall to get closer, but we didn't know the hole wasn't gonna be fully repaired, it wasn't restored. So now we have to go and get that restored on our own.

Enough information was not given on the true nature of how things will work out. About two weeks ago my air conditioner wouldn't come on so I called them and they sent some people out. When they came out they told me that the airconditioner needed to be replaced and that choice wouldn't replace it. They were easy to contact but again I had to say I had to go head and cover myself.
