They are worthless. They make you wait for there contractors that cannot show up for 7 days, when you complain they say go ahead and get one yourself and they will reimburse you, Then when you file a claim they tell you they will n ot reimburse because you did not get approval of the estimate first. Total rip off. Not the same company I have used in the past

The service company you hired have taken 7 weeks to fix my washing wand it’s still not fixed. They told me it will be 2 more weeks before they can come back. Even then there is no guarantee it will be fixed then. This service is unacceptable for me and should be for you too!

It took over 2 weeks for choice to get me a technician( the first one didn't even come to ky home and it took over 10 days to find another one )and then made the technician come out twice before the approval of my claim. Then short changed the technician, who quit before doing the job . Choice closed the claim when the job was not completed. When i texted it in rhe claim, i was told it was closed and i had to reopen a new claim. My kids have a 2nd policy and choice has not fixed any of their claims. When i first joined choice was very responsive and 5 years later, so nitpicky.

If I could leave negative scores I would. I am waiting four weeks for a hot water repair. And now they are telling me that they want to charge me an additional two hundred and twenty something dollars on top of my monthly payment and the seventy five dollars copay. And I now am being told that I have to wait two more days until a case manager will have an “opportunity” to discuss this with me. But wait , there’s more I am being allowed a fifteen minute window for the discussion to take place.

Had to cancel with Choice warranty and go to AHS. I was with.AHS for decades. They were fantastic. Replaced several appliances under my warranty. The premiums started to go up so I switched to Choice Warranty and the experience was horrible! They declined repairs on a blower fan that had outlived its life expectancy by two decades. Pay less get less.! I’m going back to American home shield

I just thought I had the premiere of policies when I spent over $7000 renewing my policies only to find that having a clog in a drain was not covered today. I am so upset because having older homes as my personal residence and rentals and paying for what I thought would be top-of-the-line policies only to be denied is terrible. At this moment I would not refer Choice.

Choice Home Warranty is a good, reliable company. But the subcontractors sometimes do not do the job, charge $75.00, promise to mail you a receipt, which never happens, and never come back. This just happened on February 3.2026. Claim #319141082. He only took a picture and left. This was B2U Preventive Maintenance. Please help, I am not able to take a shower.
