I'm a little disappointed in the plumber they chose to fix my garbage disposal..they wanted to let me make a week before they could come..with all the plumbers out there they could have gotten me one that would have come out sooner.i ended up calling my own plumber who came out same day and fixed the disposal ..I should be getting the 85.00 I would have given to one of their plumbers back.. so I will give them one more chance to prove themselves before I cancel with them.

1, Because I filed a toilet plumbing service last 10-13-3024 and again last last 12-26-2024 but it is NOT yet fix until now. 2. Also , I filed a claim to repair the dishwasher last 8-8-2024 and again last 12-26-3024. They emailed me to give certain amount to help me buy a new one but I have not yet received the money. Your contractor never even call so you advised me to get another Plumber so I did it was never explained to me to take pictures will in the house my Plumber said it was leaking so he replaced it if I would have taken pictures of the water heater after disinsemble where the leak was in the back of the water heater where I could not take a picture and call you you would have ok the new heater but instead I took pictures of my bad watetheater outside there for you have denied the claim what is wrong with this picture

I have had a Choice Home Warranty for about 5 years. For the most part, the level of service has been ok. On a few occasions the tech company they use has been a bit questionable. The last service I had on my HVAC they allowed me to pick my own vendor as the previous service call took approximately 3 months to get resolved. I paid the vendor upfront and received reimbursement from Choice within the 30 day time frame they promised. Very good!In the future, this is the way I will go as I can get a local vendor there on a timely basis and not wait 3 months for the fix.

I have had this company for over 10 yrs and the Service WAS very excellent until this past year their service has sent out service people who did not seem to know their JOBS I've had to call. And get another repair person out that Was a factory rep. And did the repairing, I would not. be as eager-to recommend- this company until they get better repair people who have had their credentials checked out I will wait to sign another contract!!

At this time, I am not satisfied with the service that I’m getting from Choice Home Warranty. My mashing machine has been broken since November 6th 2024. Service workers have been out at least four times. Each time they came out they put a new part on the machine, it still doesn’t work. A service person came out on New Year Day (afternoons) and put another part on that was ordered. The machine still is not working. I just want CHW to cancel the washing machine out so that I can purchase anew one . At this time I’m very frustrated with Choice Home Warranty to the point of canceling my service. I have been with them since about 2017. I’m ready to let them go. I’m dragging clothes to the laundry mat, which is no fun for 3 months. I’m about to be done with Choice Home Warranty.

Choice Home Warranty has a problem in our area in getting AC/Heating technicians. Eventually (3 weeks to 2 months), we finally got to get our own technician, with a promise of reimbursement, which we got in 30 days. Our technicians each time said & reported that we needed a new unit. After jumping through many hoops the first two times, we got reimbursement for them to add Freon, which lasted only a few months as the technicians said would happen. The third contact to them, they found us a technician, who also said we needed a new unit. Choice Warranty wanted another opinion (or estimate), but couldn't find another technician in our area. It went again to us getting a technician and a promised reimbursement. The limit for AC/Heating repairs has a limit of $3000 in their policy, which was partly used up with the first 2 visits, so Choice Home Warranty approved to pay us the remainder left, leaving us to pay about $5000 out of pocket. They should have just gotten the new unit when first diagnosed. Since we have this warranty for a few more years, we'll see how well Choice Home Warranty works for other appliances that may go out. At this point, we would not recommend this warranty to others.

When an appliance is beyond economical repair, I don't like the replacement offer that doesn't at least meet minimum cost to replace unit, a gift card that is given and then additional fees taken out of that amount. Basically, you are getting about 70% of funds needed to replace and even less if you have a higher end model. I don't like how long it takes to get a repairman out to look at the problem, and/or the repair folks who never show up or claim they did, and then claim the customer missed the appointment (a lie).

Have used them a few times. Appliance repair has been good. But the nickel and dime on the A/C repair was a joke. Compressor went bad because of the evaporator fan was operating substandard but running so you decided not to repair it. Which meant the new compressor wouldn't last. Living in a desert climate being without a/c is not intelligent. So I replaced the entire unit out of pocket. Then I had a shower value replaced because it wasn't allowing proper water flow. The plumber cross threaded the valve which caused it launch across the shower enclosure and flood the bathroom. When they came out to repair it they had to cut a hole in the wall to accomplish the repair. Getting the hole repaired took forever finally had to locate a wall repair person on my own. Then you dragged your feet reimbursing me. The last item you repaired was my ice maker in the refrigerator. That was excellent and the company was fantastic. So over all I give you a 40% satisfaction rating.

Technitian was completeunprofessional. Right at the start of work on my cloth washer, he asked for my help for moving washer then when water started draining on floor, he asked me for cleaning. The water odor was so bad not sure why I had to do it. Then he called his manager a couple of times doing video call showing the issue. He wanted confirmation from his manager what the issue could be and what to do next. They talked in a non-English language and I can't tell what they have talked. Why not English since we are in USA? Also, while asking on question on Choice Home warrany website, normally the response is from a Robot. I have been waiting for an approved checkand it is over a month now and it is not received yet.

Actually, I’m considering changing warranties again. I left to come to you because I had issues with them and not looking out for my best interest but their contracted providers. I had them come out twice for my garage door opener. I recently I had you guys come out. I was told that the only thing you approved to be fixed was one of the three issues.that needed repair. I had not been negligent in anyway, because the other warranty had come to take care of the other problems. I am not willing to be paying a substantial amount of money to not get the service I pay for. While you gave me a discount for having had been a previous customer to another warranty, it is of no use to me if insured items will not be fixed.

it took several weeks with multiple workmen to get everything handled as each of the 5 service calls required a different repairman, and also cost me $75 per person. also, the other negative is that Choice Home Warranty would not put both AC repairs on the same ticket as they claimed only 1 item per ticket, so I had to pay an additional $75 for the AC repair man to come back at another time when he had the ability to fix both units while on the same trip. A bit of a rip-off the way it is structured.

I don't like the fact that there aren't Vendors close to my location. It took a ridiculously long time for my claims to assigned. Based on what my Sales rep explained to me when I was considering purchasing a Home warranty, I expected swift attention and repair/replacement to claims submitted. In fact, I'm STILL WAITING on a resolution to my last claim placed on 10/17. STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED the egift card from Lowes for my washing machine.!! Customer service has been of NO help. Their response to my inquires is to wait until NOVEMER 26TH. If I haven't received it by then--- call back. WTH???????!!!

I had different things wrong, the companies that came for the AC and the Electrical. They were amazing very professional and helpful walked me there everything and provided hints to keep up with maintenance. Now the gentleman that came to fix the dishwasher and the fridge. The complete opposite he was arrogant hard to talk to he talked down to the customer like if we were incompetent, and didn’t understand what he was saying. Since he arrived he was in a rush to just get out of the house. He almost didn’t even turn the breaker back on and I had to remind him.

My microwave was having issues. The first person they sent was a "no show". After a phone call to the contractor at 5:30, I was told they would be here by 7:45. NO SHOW, NO CALL. Then Choice Warranty had a difficult time locating another contractor. (I live in NJ, not in the middle of a National Forrest). When the second repair person came out, they explained it needed a new panel. Apparently that wasn't in stock, and backordered. Choice Home Warranty told me it was because of a power outage. I explained I have a whole house protector for that. After going back and forth, they agreed to give me a Lowes gift card for $190. I had NO CHOICE as to where I could use the money. The replacement for my microwave is about $350 on sale. Plus I paid $85 to the repair company. I took their offer, but feel it wasn't a good choice on my part. I'm sorry I took out a 3 year warranty.
