I dislike how Choice wastes my time by sending me an email saying I could find my own repair person and get reimbursed. That wasted 3 days by the time I got hold of someone again. I had told you to make a note in my file saying I never wanted to do that, so don’t send me that email. Then, I got an email with a handyman service. I declined that because they were not a licensed electrician. Now, I’m waiting to be assigned to a licensed electrician. Your employee said you don’t call to find this person and assign them. She said you wait for them to offer their services. I had CHW in Las Vegas for years. They were excellent and professional. It’s been tough here as service very slow. Disappointing who you are trying to send out instead of licensed workers.

Fair. Initially we were assigned a technician that came to the house diagnosed the problem, took my $75.00 service charge and disappeared. This took 2 weeks of waiting before another technician was assigned to the claim. They have decided to replace the unit with an ecard that they say may take up to 30 days. Totally unacceptable, as far as consideration for the customer.

Customer service is very nice, but I have a problem with the amount it takes for someone to come to my home and fix my problem, when sometime its a real emergency which Choice dont offer that. My last was a plumbing problem that needed to be taken care of immediately,I was informed that the earliest a technician can come was a week; with that being said I may change my warranty company.

I called for heater repair on Friday, repair came on Monday. Had to contact Choice before ordering parts. Choice decided it didn't need both parts requested. One part installed a week later. Not fixed. Oked second part previously requested. Waited another week. Repair service installed part on Saturday. Heater working OK.

I purchased this plan to cover major breakdowns. When my husband passed away, I felt I needed a backup plan. CHW has been anything but. My dishwasher broke down and CHW declined to purchase parts of repair it but I still had to pay $85. in addition to the monthly charge. My heating pump went down. I paid the $85. Although we were suffering 0 degree temperatures for a week or two, CHW took a month or more and would only allow a PARTIAL REPAIR. Again, although I paid the $85. service call and all monthly payments, I was required to pay an additional $150. to complete the job! ProMan, the repair company hired by CHW were very polite, professional and completed the job immediately on approval from CHW. CHW was the party that DELAYED the repair. I intend to cancel my home warranty with CHW.

Great service by CHW. If your home isn’t new or has an age of 15+ years, it’s always good to take a reliable home warranty rather than spending 100’s of dollars on costly labor for every small/big issue at your home.

I am shocked when Choice denied payment to an electric company that needed to put the chandelier back up that fell down. My daughter and I were having a cup of coffee when the chandelier suddenly just fell down from the ceiling and was hanging there by a wire.Joyce did send somebody out and when they wanted to repair it, Choice said that it was not covered. I ended up paying out-of-pocket to have it repaired and all it needed was a simple little box reinstalled into the ceiling.

It has being a little difficult to communicate with customer service employees. They repeat themselves often and at times I do not think they understand what I am saying. When it comes to servicing our items, it can take a very long time for someone to come and fix you appliances! It took too long for the service techs to inspect the appliance and when they determined it could not be repaired Choice offered to send me a gift card to Lowe's to buy a replacement. The amount of the gift card was not near enough to cover the cost of a new appliance or the delivery and installation costs. I requested a check instead because I wanted to buy it elsewhere and I just received the check, two months after I filed the claim. I was very dissatisfied with the time it took and the amount that I was paid and wanted to cancel the balance of the warranty. I bought a three year warranty, paid in advance; there are six months left on the warranty but they will not refund any money for the balance of the warranty period. I absolutely will not renew and it's unlikely I will ever purchase another home warranty.

I had a heating system problem I November and December of 2024 it took them over 6 weeks to get some one to come out and when they did come out they didn't work on my type of system. All this time we were freezing to death. So I found my own person to fix my system. So to tell you the truth I am looking for another home warranty that doesn't take 6 weeks to get someone to look at my system they are not worth my time or money.

My house furnace was making a LOUD noise. I called to report the problem and that went well, they contacted a local contractor and they were at my home within four hours. The technician was excellent!! He explained what the problem was, contacted the warranty company and informed me “. the warranty company would not authorize the repair!” The reason they would not authorize the repair, “ the unit was running and producing heat”. They would not authorize any repairs until the unit was totally none functional! I have two choices pay for the repair, about, $1600 or wait until the unit is totally unrepairable. I don’t recommend this home warranty company!!

I am very upset because it took almost 16 days to get hot water back in my house. My 6 year water heater broke and because it was still under warranty choice would only pay for installation of the plumbing. They would not pay for any parts. Since it was 6 years old, water heater company would pay nothing but give another water heater. So I was out 75.00 for service call and another 1,100.00 to pay plumber. When I signed up for warranty I was told that I would only have to pay for service call. Not sure if the plumber or Choice Warranty fault or if they both just took advantage of me.
