They got back to me right away and sent a technician to fix my dishwasher. That was 6 weeks ago. The technician ordered parts, but we are still waiting for them. He has told us it is taking waaay longer to get appliance parts. That may be true, so it could be that everyone is doing what they can, but my dishwasher is not fixed and i still have to dry all the dishes and the dishwater is not as hot as it should be. Send me another request when i finally get it fixed.

We have filed two claims. The first claim was for a dishwasher and was handled expeditiously and problem solved. The second claim was for an air conditioning problem and still is not resolved 17 days later and technician is not scheduled to come out until 9 more days. When the company gave us the option of securing our own technician as they did not have one available, we contacted the person who had installed the air conditioning unit. What followed were several back and forth from the company to us, us to the technician and then us back to the company. Choice requested a video of the problem to us which we attempted to submit several times but which there system would not accept. It wanted pictures so, even though a video was requested, it would only accept pictures. After two or three phone calls to customer service with no resolution to the problem, we gave up and asked Choice to use one of the technicians they contract with. I'm hoping this is an isolated problem and will be happy to review any future experiences.

I like Choice Home Warranty except for one thing. I had to have the gasket changed on my toilet, which they paid for. The technician recommended I have my toilet snaked, and they denied that part of the claim. The tech said it was a good time to do it since the bowl had to be removed to do the work.

Because I am waiting for a month now and am told it will be at least another month before the third of 3 needed refrigerator parts is available. Have been without my kitchen fridge all this time and fortunately have old one in laundry room that is being inconveniently used. I realize it is not Choice's fault regards the back ordered part, but I have need to contact them for updates on this situation and I think they should be contacts me with updates.

Because I don't know the mechanics of my dryer the guy said the problem was because I had a lint built up and you don't cover this. I called someone who i had paid $350 and he stated that the noise I heard was because a screw was loose and that he could have fixed it without vacuuming the machine

Overall, they're good. Their customer service needs great improvement. I asked someone to return my phone call about my dishwasher, I still haven't heard anything. When I put in a request about my AC on 5/17, I asked about my dishwasher, the rep said the offer would be sent over, it still hasn't been. The answering service still says bc of covid-19, higher call volume. What does this have to do with anything??

We've had some that are very good. I would highly recommend Metro Appliance. But we have had some who tell us when they'll be here and they show up but it might be the next day which makes it difficult to be able to run errands or some things we need to do outside the house. One thing we called for we had to end up paying for it ourselves.

When I call into their customer support phone, they give me a great response. Sometimes you can't get ahold of managers though and fall off the radar if you need extra help. For example, I had a plumber come out last month to help with an outage. He said they don't pay for extra things I needed so I called a supervisor at Choice and they never responded to me.

When I had some problems with the burners on my stove, the first company they sent out was zero help. The second company they sent took care of my problem within a couple of hours! They found they needed to replace some parts and they went ahead and replaced it.

I chose Choice Home Warranty because I wanted to make sure I had coverage in case something breaks. Sometimes you can't get a hold of someone for a long time in customer service. When I used them for something electrical in my home, the guy they sent was horrible. He was breaking things and kept leaving loose wiring, and wouldn't call us back. I had a much different experience when my HVAC went out and the guy that came out did a fantastic job.

Customer support at Choice Home Warranty is really nice! I've used my warranty three times. Once when I needed something fixed, I was given the runaround. Appointments were constantly moved around, parts didn't arrive, and I was offered an amount of money to replace something that wouldn't even cover the entire need. They choose mediocre companies to fix things in your home.

Most of the service companies they order for you are not good. I have had them come back numerous times for different claims. These appear to be third rate service companies. Most of the service people are rude. It takes calling and screaming about getting things fixed correctly. All the service person is concerned about is getting their fee the minute they walk in the door. Also, Choice does not allow them to fix something immediately. They need to call Choice and then wait for an answer. This can take a very long time. Some have had to come back because Choice will not give them an answer immediately or Choice does not even answer them. I wanted to cancel since I signed up for five years, and they told me I would owe them money because they would price out every little service claim that was done in my home.

It's like a hit or miss with Choice. I never know what I'm going to get. I recently called for a leak in my bathroom. A plumber came out to diagnose the problem and kept postponing the time when he was scheduled to come and fix the leak. He said he would have to tear a hole in my ceiling to fix it. I called Choice to send another plumber when I got tired of waiting for him to show up. Another plumber was assigned the job. When I spoke to him on the phone he said he was coming out between 3-8 pm. He Showed up around 8:30 pm. He spent less than 5 minutes in the bathroom and said that it looks like the problem was coming from water on the flop from my shower. He collected the service fee and told me that he would be back the next day at 10:00 am. Needless to say, he never showed up and he never called either. I ended up calling a plumber that I found on the internet and he came out within 45 minutes and he fixed the leak. He didn't have to tear a hole in my living room ceiling and there wasn't a problem with my shower. I don't know where Choice is getting these people from. I won't renew my contract with Choice again.

We have been working with them on fixing some electrical issues. The company who's name they gave us repair 2 outdoors outlets they wanted us to get fixed before they approved the other. I sent the receipt they gave 2 times, but they say it has to specify what was fixed. This was all they gave us. We are frustrated and don't know why the outdoor itrms(which they won't fix anyway has anything to do with the inside switches we need replaced).
