It is now almost the new year and I still have no word at all about my ice maker parts. I am paying about $15 a month for ice (In addition to my $65 service fee paid on 7 October. I would suggest that you just authorize a similar new refrigerator and let me get back to my normal routine instead of having to worry about running out of ice every week or so. It has now been almost 3 months and I'm not pleased with your service. Thinking about calling on the BBB and letting them know what's going on. I am well aware of the BS put out about shipping delays in west coast ports of Oakland and Long Beach. I doubt if that is what is holding up a simple replacement order.

The company Choice uses is over 60 miles away. Our furnace stopped in the middle of winter and it took them a week to come and look at the problem,, just to say they did not have the part and had to order it.. They scheduled an appointment but did not show up and never called to say they we not coming. Once they did come they did fix the problem.

covered items are excellent. They don't cover our fuse panel box because it is located on our wall outside. They do this in Arizona to conserve space. they indicated this was not covered. Had it been in my garage, no problem. other than that it is pretty good.

I find them cumbersome. My first claim was a cracked stove top. I paid the $85 service charge for tech. The claim was denied. My 2nd claim was about my clothes dryer. I paid the $85 for the tech's first visit. He reported it was not a dryer problem, but rather an electrical one. As I had a broken bathroom ceiling fan, I added that to my next claim. I paid the $85 fee for the electrician. I've now spent $250 in service fees. I received an auto message indicating that my claim was approved and the time had been scheduled for the electrician to return and fix the problem and oh, I had to pay him another $85 service fee. At this point, I contacted Choice to ask why? They confirmed what I suspected - there would be no charge for the second visit. As I initially indicated, cumbersome at best.

It was excellent until the last visit. A faucet installed about 2 years ago had the handle break off. The repairman determined it was under warranty. He said for me to buy a new warranty and Choice would reimburse me $70. I sent Choice copies of the receipt from Lowes but have never received the $70' Until this happened everything had been great. Very disappointing.

Two months ago I got a bill from Florida Power and Light for four times what I normally per per month. I was problem. If the first technician would have done his job the first time all would have been corrected. I was told by the person watching him that he did very little. The company which you hire has to be more conscious when they provide service. I will remember this when its time to renew my contract. told that I was using power at the unit. I found it hard to believe since the only thing in service was the air conditioner and two lamps on timers. I contacted Choice to send a serviceman to check. One showed up and stated that the A/C was in working order. However, FPL indicated I was still drawing power. I asked that FPL to send someone to check the meteor. They came and said the thermostat was in working order, the A/C was working but not putting out cool air, that was the probablem

I was sold on them because they told me if they couldn’t fix it, they would replace it but they haven’t come through on that original statement. We have used the warranty many times but when the furnace went out, they came and couldn’t fix it and they didn’t replace it because of rust. Nobody had talked to me about rust. They did the same thing for my water heater and air conditioner. I have been disappointed so many times. I was happy when they fixed my stove and dishwasher but I had to wait a month for my washer to get repaired because the repairman did not flip a switch for the new part so I had to have another repairman out six months later which cost me another sixty dollars.

Our first covered claim was for a refrigerator ice maker. we spent $260 in fees to unqualified repairmen ( one of the them was a roofing co. ). We ended up calling a local appliance repairman ourselves and paying $240 ourselves to fix it. We were, after much haggling with your customer service people, allowed $126. to cover our expense. It took your company 2 months of our time and trouble, when we able to resolve it ourselves in 30 minutes. Your company was not readily accepted by repairmen in this area ( one repairman that was dispatched by you, at our expense, properly identified the trouble but later declined to repair it. He stated 'Lack of payment by your company was the reason'. We were, at first, declined any reimbursement because we did not follow your protocols. At some point enough runaround is enough. We should not have do your job and pay you for it.

was total surprised and disappointed with Choice team member who was assigned to my claim dealing with cash out of my GE profile refrigerator. Made one offer of $700 for a unit that was high end product with a replacement cost of $3300 dollars. This representative refused to move claim to next level of management and stated that this was their (Choice) cost to replace the unit. I told her to purchase the unit at that cost and have it delivered and she immediately stated she could not do that but the no other offer would be made. Please not that I pointed out to her that the description of the unit she referenced was a basic entry level model and my unit was high end unit.

I contacted your company about a water leak which was considerable . The best option was to wait for 4-5 days. There was no consideration for the fact that water would be wasted in considerable amounts and what if this was damaging to the property. No effort was made by the personnel to even come to shut the main valve. Sometimes there is more to it than answering a phone.

Water heater broke down had to replace the unit along with labor even though I have the plan that is suppose to repair or replace it I do not have the basic plan second respond had an issue with washer machine they sent someone out and not even a week later machine not working again and now I have to wait until the 21 for another repair person to come and attempt to repair it again what's the point and paying 52 dollars every month and 85 dollar service call when things are not even handled properly when they came to fix my ac I had to pay 1200 plus 350 for a part that wasn't covered with the warranty but that the whole purpose of having the total plan

I've been dealing with a claim since 3/4/24 for a hot water heater repair that has been approved. After technician came out originally and paying the $75 service fee, I've been unabe to reach him after four attempts. Two weeks after he was here, he answered his phone and said he'd been busy and would call and set a time for the following week. Since then and four voice mails, he's not been back nor returned my calls. I have had two home warranties for two different properties (2nd home) and would have expected better customer service. Also, the warranties were paid up two years at a time for each home!!

The process is pretty easy when I file a claim. I had a claim that I have a mixed feelings about. It was regarding a microwave, so the technician came and he collected his deductible for the service costs at the time he came to service the house. Choice home warranty decided that it needed to be replaced but they only offered me an amount that is not the proper amount to replace. I was kinda disappointed.

Customer support is pretty responsive to an increase in our claims so far. We have several times where we needed to use our warranty and we filed a claim online and they sent someone to come and fix it and pretty timely manner. Most cases we've had some issues but so far it's been taken care of the most part. One Issues that has been resolved has really only been partially resolved and the specialists that they sent out, although they've been nice and professional, the company has not backed up with the professionals have recommended and so we're having continuing issues with assistance that were under warranty. They send out really great professional people and then when the professionals make the recommendations on how to do the repairs and what's required Choice doesn't really approve what needs to be done so we end up just keep having to call for more more claims. They are very attentive, but the issues aren't really being addressed once and for all.

At this point I am not very happy with them. In the beginning it was pretty good. They came out and serviced my item that I needed taken care of. A couple of months back, I had a problem with my bathroom and they wouldn't repair it because it was only part of a whole unit. The other times they did the work they were supposed to. I am happy with the service but there could be a little more transparency. The person I spoke with on the phone didn't have any knowledge or authority to discuss why things were happening or policy. My water heater went bad and they replaced it but there were about three hundred dollars that I needed to cover. I couldn't find anywhere in the policy where it stated what would be covered. It is frustrating. The technician was very good and it was overall done quickly and it wasn't too bad.

All questions and issues are not usually resolved without calling in multiple times. Just recently had to use my warranty to replace my garbage disposal, the automated system logged the file incorrectly so we had to wait over an hour while the technician got in contact with someone from choice to approve the repair, which was a huge inconvenience because we had a baby and he was already an hour late and it made us even further behind and he didn't care for our time. I'm just holding on to the service until we sell the home.

Customer service reps don't seem to be able to help much. Customer service does not get involved and help with issues with the repair started. I use my warranty to repair my washing machine and the repairman had to come out four or five times and customer service couldn't help with that issue.

Well they couldn't get somebody when there was an air conditioning problem, so I ended up calling someone else and paying someone to do it. The second time was better. The guy came and there was an electrical problem, so he replaced the Fuse and the replaced one of the breakers. It turns out it was the control switch from the dishwasher. So I had to get a new one, so I went and got a new dishwasher. It's just been pretty good.

We have to call several times we don't get people and its like they don't care about what we are feeling. I called for my water heater that was was broke and waited on hold for twenty minutes until I was able to get somebody. I had to call in again and again on hold and they finally sent somebody to fix the water heater. They say that they sent me an email saying that I'd have to pay $650 out of my pocket, I never saw that email. They never asked for my consent. They just sent somebody and when the water heater was installed. The guy said you owe me $650 and that was a nightmare, because I had to pay that amount of money out of my pocket.

I would not recommend the choice home warranty because everything they told me didn't work out at all, they just give me a very hard time when I need service. A while back my stove was bad. They wanted to replacethe appliance because they couldn't repair my oven and it was given the ridiculous pricing. Cut a long story short I'd have to pay for the labor to remove and install. It took me several weeks and almost two months to get a settlement from that. They told me things that they would take care of and they never did, so I had to argue and fight with them to get a decent price on that and I still didn't get the right price to replace my items.

The last time I use my warranty with for a dryer. They came out they couldn't fix it on the spot so they ordered the part and then they came back and fix it. My last service visit they were prompt and they could take care of everything. I've had problems with some of the technicians and I have called choice to explain to customer service because they said they covered it, but too much time had passed for them to assist me in that matter, but they've been there when I've called in for other issues and they were helpful.
