We purchased a home warranty to fix things that break down. However, you find ways around it. Such as my water heater when it went out because the tank started leaking. Well we don't cover the tank was the reply. Then our ice maker started acting up and the reply was "The company shoould cover it because there are recalls on it. However, the company didn't cover it because it was bought as a dented appliance. Therefore, they won't cover it, and neither will you. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing another year from you.

The appliance dealer came out and charged me $150.00. He said he would order a part for the dishwasher. I never heard from him. I left message after message with no reply. One time he answered and said he would look up when the part would be in and call me back in a few minutes. He never called back. My last message to him was forget it. I have bought a new dishwasher. I will not be calling for your help again!

Choice should do more research on the service providers they send to clients home. I had a person to come out fixed my AC and charged me fees since I used my credit card. I used 3 credit cards 12% fee. But yet I feel like the person I spoke to at Choice thought this situation was laughable due to I should done my own research.

I own a duplex I was under the impression if my policy had two different addresses. That meant two different apartments. Wrong. My water heater went out on my unit. I paid the plumber with choice $ My second water heater went out. I was told 1 water heater with my policy. They claim it was wrote incorrectly. But I was not paying for duplex policy for 7 months Go figure

The price was right and it seemed like the coverage was as well. The problem is their coverage does not cover the exact replacement costs of some items. To replace our defective ceiling fan, we had to pay extra to get an exact duplicate. We still have not received reimbursement for the part they do cover.

CHW refund policy for an appliances that can't be repaired is BS. Up to 30 days to get a credit is BS. I'm going to reach out to CHW head quarters and other customers to also join me in getting this policy changed ASAP. Unacceptable policy and needs to be changed immediately.

I absolutely 100% would not recommend Choice! and if you have Choice get out! They are the worst they string you along until your claim is over 30 days so they don’t have to replace items. They taught their staff to do the stringing along. They’ve also instructed them to hang up on you. They say they work on the weekends, but they actually have an answering service which does nothing my advice again get out.

Case manager have poor communications and definitely not an advocate for the customer, no follow up , no callback which would have made the overall experience valuable for a first customer filing a claim . Definitely a poor experience overall. The tech was Dan he was great very detailed and took care the first pork needed , he was the best thing in this process hands down . Last week I sent a text to CHW on an issue with my AC. They gave for First Home Solutions to replace the motor. This was over three weeks. Attempted to contact FHS by text and phone to determine status of replacing the motor. As of this date no reply. Last week text to CHW requesting their help. We paid the service call , choice than quoted at price of more than the hot water heater would cost for installation. We ended up buying the water heater and had it installed ourself and they did they us a check for 350.00 dollars on a 500.00 water heater plus installation so it ended up being more costly than if we did it ourselves. Since than I have canceled my policy buyer beware after all the money we paid on monthly payments they wouldn’t hold up there end

Claim was denied for false reason on my dishwasher. Choice denied claim because of a supposed power surge. Vendor put in writing that he did not tell them that. He said they asked if there was inclement weather around that time and told them there is no way to prove or disprove that. They will not honor the repair and claims specialist keeps canceling my scheduled appointments to speak to her. I have the emails to prove it. Now I find out they settled a gigantic lawsuit for doing that to customers over and over
