We contacted Choice Warranty in July when our A/C went out. The technician they sent out replaced the control board and installed it incorrectly. When we turned on the furnace in November it wouldn't blow heat. Choice sent out a different company and the technician found that the previous company had incorrectly installed the control board not allowing the heater to work properly. Choice Warranty denied the furnace claim "we don't cover incorrectly installed parts". They graciously offered to pay half of my repair. We paid the technician to do a complete inspection of the system for our benefit. He found that the heat exchanger has an issue which makes the system unsafe to use due to high CO2 levels. Choice Warranty has denied this claim for a new system saying it is related to the control board claim. Why pay for a Warranty if they won't cover a malfunctioning furnace that has nothing to do with a control board. We DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! Now we are cold and have to find a way to pay for a new furnace on our dime.

They've been very helpful and courteous and that means a lot. I needed to use my warranty on my refrigerator ice maker and the guy called come out, the guy come out check it out and fixed the refrigerator icemaker which was very nice. The quality was very nice, very good.

I've had poor response in the past. My most recent experience was better than before, this time the plumber showed up on time when he was supposed to. The couple other previous times I had I had people show up not do the work and then not come back but this time Johnson Builders did a good job. They don't include faucets.

Service has been good just the repair of technicians weren't good sometimes there's a little bit slow to get a service get the thing repaired but so far it's been tolerable. The service is adequate. It is more efficient for me to determine who in my area is competent to work on my units therefore it would help to make it easier s for me to do this. In my last issue I didn't even ask recompense for the service call because it was so little difference and not worth my time.

For repairs the service is good. Response time is good. But if your appliance needs to be replaced, Choice Home Warranty falsely advertised that the will replace your appliance. They will pay you a fraction of the cost to replace your appliance and there is nothing you can do about it because of the fine print. Also I received a Lowes gift card that they would not accept.

My Tech Mr Henry T is great but what i paid for is not what Im suppose to receive. I was told the reason my boiler stopped working was that it wasnt cleaned. But it was regularly maintenance. Then i was told the boiler was too old and parts are hard to find and customer service said boiler wasnt covered

The reason why Choice received a poor review is because of my last claim. I had an obvious issue with a leaking garbage disposal, and I could not use my sink. I followed the process by filling the claim and a service tech came out to diagnose the issue. I paid my deductible as agreed and the tech confirmed that the disposal needed to be replaced. He notified choice of what he had to do, and he said he has a replacement unit in his truck, and he can proceed right away. The issue that I have is the claim had to be reviewed before the repair could take place even though he was already on site and he could not proceed until everything was authorized. In the meantime, I could not use my sink and he could not wait and was dispatched to another job. This is beyond acceptable because this was something that should not have taken an extensive amount of time to approve especially, while he was already on-site. If this is going to be the course of action for every claim I am going to start searching for another company.

I have a DW that needs repaired and the tech had come to find the items that are needed. I have waited over a week. The tech was supposed to come on the 20th. No show no phone call no anything. I called the office the next day. She was going to call me back and never did. I called the next day and she said she was waiting to hear from the parts company still no response back. The only reason I have given you a 3 is because I had gotten good service on another claim. I am very disappointed in my DW claim

They are supposed to replace what can't be repaired but they never allocate enough money to completely replace an item. Initial offer is insultingly low and always have to call and try to get a decent amount to replace an item. Alwaohave to add money to even get a low price range product.

We had a good response time with our refrigerator problems but our plumbing issue took a few weeks to resolve. The plumber kept making appt to come out but never did. 3 qppts were set up and he never showed up or called. If I had canceled these appts I probably would have had to pay for a missed appointment. On the 4th scheduled appt ,the plumber did a how up and did a fine job. But it it took 2 weeks to get issue fixed. It was just a faucet repair.

The solution to our leaking washer that does not drain was to let it leak for months and mop up the water until it stops as there is blockage in the system. This is unacceptable and we were told to get our own repair man to do the work and they would reimburse us. We can't find anyone who wants to work with this company because of their demands. It's been over 3 months and we are still without a working dishwasher. They did fix a leak in a timely fashion.

I do not think it is fair that you can decide on your own not to pay for a repair (when it is in the policy to cover it) and not pay it ! Your company thought instead to pay me a measly $200 for a "new dishwasher" because your company did not want to pay for the repair. I am still without a dishwasher because $200 will not even cover half the price of a dishwasher!

The customer support is not good. My refrigerator was broken and the parts were not available like that so it took a couple of months. When I tried to contact them some representatives told me it was still under warranty and sometimes the people are telling the warranty is expired. Overall I'm good with Choice home warranty. There was just the one time it was a really bad experience .
