I had the following companies which were great. Appliance Tek Service; Lake Country Electric; Clog Pro LLC and Speed Service LLC. Speed Service LLC has a Ukrainian accent which made it difficult to understand. I am pleased that one electrician was scheduled for both units of my duplex and I paid $150. I paid Clog Pro LLC $550 for shower cartridge and fitting. CHW will not cover although it states coverage in the policy. I asked for CHW to reimburse $275 of the $550. No response as of yet. The reason for the 4 star rating.

I had a leaky garbage disposal that ultimately needed to be replaced. The response time from the claim process to the actual work was amazing. The service technician was timely, courteous and answered all of my questions. I am truly happy that I switched to Choice Home Warranty for my home repair needs.

We recently had our heater go out over a month ago and it took until now to get it looked at and fixed. When calling in to talk to someone, communication was difficult sometimes as it was with individuals with not clear English and were going by a script only. When asked to speak to supervisor, it wasn't clear if there truly was one. There were no real local service people we learned after calling around, as no one in the area would work with this warranty company because it was too hard to get paid. The first person they found no showed. They didn't like the second one's answer and finally the third person was a really good one and got it fixed. It was quite an ordeal for one part to get heat after several really cold fronts had passed through during the month!

Definately was a great service experience Carlos the garage tech was very detailed oriented. Hediagnosed the problem and he was able to get it fixed quickly. He did a great job and I would definitely recommend him as well as choice home warranty.

Our thermostat went south. Choice took a week, but the technician they sent did install our new one quickly - was extremely service minded and there ya have it. The only issue was they told him to charge us $85 service call... wrong, I got in on a special deal so my service call was $75. So far, very happy with this company.

it took several weeks with multiple workmen to get everything handled as each of the 5 service calls required a different repairman, and also cost me $75 per person. also, the other negative is that Choice Home Warranty would not put both AC repairs on the same ticket as they claimed only 1 item per ticket, so I had to pay an additional $75 for the AC repair man to come back at another time when he had the ability to fix both units while on the same trip. A bit of a rip-off the way it is structured.

Choice Home Warranty provides good customer service overall. However, there seem to be some issues when it comes to paying for repairs or replacements, as they only cover half of the price. Additionally, the eGift card takes around 30 days to arrive, which can be quite a delay.

I don't like the fact that there aren't Vendors close to my location. It took a ridiculously long time for my claims to assigned. Based on what my Sales rep explained to me when I was considering purchasing a Home warranty, I expected swift attention and repair/replacement to claims submitted. In fact, I'm STILL WAITING on a resolution to my last claim placed on 10/17. STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED the egift card from Lowes for my washing machine.!! Customer service has been of NO help. Their response to my inquires is to wait until NOVEMER 26TH. If I haven't received it by then--- call back. WTH???????!!!

I had different things wrong, the companies that came for the AC and the Electrical. They were amazing very professional and helpful walked me there everything and provided hints to keep up with maintenance. Now the gentleman that came to fix the dishwasher and the fridge. The complete opposite he was arrogant hard to talk to he talked down to the customer like if we were incompetent, and didn’t understand what he was saying. Since he arrived he was in a rush to just get out of the house. He almost didn’t even turn the breaker back on and I had to remind him.

My microwave was having issues. The first person they sent was a "no show". After a phone call to the contractor at 5:30, I was told they would be here by 7:45. NO SHOW, NO CALL. Then Choice Warranty had a difficult time locating another contractor. (I live in NJ, not in the middle of a National Forrest). When the second repair person came out, they explained it needed a new panel. Apparently that wasn't in stock, and backordered. Choice Home Warranty told me it was because of a power outage. I explained I have a whole house protector for that. After going back and forth, they agreed to give me a Lowes gift card for $190. I had NO CHOICE as to where I could use the money. The replacement for my microwave is about $350 on sale. Plus I paid $85 to the repair company. I took their offer, but feel it wasn't a good choice on my part. I'm sorry I took out a 3 year warranty.

What I disliked was speaking to someone who I could not understand. Nor could they understand me very well. They insisted that I could not get my own contractor after waiting over a week for this company to find someone. This was to fix a "no heat" situation in my rental when the outside temps were in the 30s. I called to customer retention, explained the situation and they quickly told me to get it fixed and that she was approving the repair, especially since I submitted a copy of the repair cost of $265.

I do not like service repair scheduled without asking me what time works. There should be a system in place where the customer can choose days and times. Service repair men are trained to say they cannot authorize a replacement of any appliance. The $75 copay should not happen if the existing problem was never resolved even after 40 days. The phone service is horrible with people not speaking the language poor connection long wait time on the phone and poor follow
