The technicians sent to my home over the past several years have been hit or miss. Many are handymen that are not fully licensed in certain specialties such as electricity. There have been instances that my family has had to hire professionals outside of CHW in order to repair something that was misdiagnosed and not properly repaired by CHW. Many of our claims have been denied and the claims specialists simply have blatenely exaggerated or lied on a claim, why it was denied.

The warranty company sent out 1st Action Plumbing. They came & took our $65 fee to give us a quote to fix our leaky garden tub. More than 2 months later and many calls & texts later the Plumber said this when we asked if he was ever coming:"Probably not it's really hard to schedule one job an hour away from the shop I'm trying to see what day I can get near you to your location". Finally 3 months later we hired a different plumber without the warranty & we're out $500 and our $65 fee for the Plumber that wouldn't drive back out here. We have a 3 1/2 year warranty & I feel very disappointed with this experience. I feel we should at least be refunded something because we didn't pick the original plumber that is wouldn't come out here they did. 1st Action Plumbing should be taken off their list of plumbers. I feel the warranty company should make this right.

I am having problems with my air conditioner. The repairman evaluated it, made recommendations and you chose to only do the cheaper part and my air conditioner now as another problem because all that was recommended was not done and your response time is too long. Secondly, when I signed up the representative told me that I could choose the repairman as long as they met your qualifications. That was a lie. Thirdly, when I realized that the repairman I chose was already one of your vendors, I had to argue with the representative to change status to your vendor then someone changed it back on their own and caused a lot of problems and wasted time on the phone to correct this.

I got Choice Home Warranty because I was sick and tired of the last home warranty company and that they wouldn't perform. The people that came to my house were extremely nice. Choice is very nice, it's just that they don't do the work. I called in with certain things that needed fixed, then when the contractor got here, he had to call up another six things, but they only let him do one. Then I have to pay $65 dollars, and I've already paid you $500 and something. I'm really disappointed. I'm was hoping that Choice turns out to be a much better company than the last one I had but so far I'm disappointed I'm sorry to say that. I had some blockages and I unblocked one drain myself. I have a friend who's a plumber and he said I needed a 75 ft drain clearance, and also that's probably why the drains in the shower and sinks were backing up occationally. It needed to completely clear out. So I called that in and also I wanted a faucet fixed and a toilet fixed. Nobody has done those yet or called me on those. They just sent someone out here to do the drains, but they only did one drain - and that was it. They said that's all they were told they could do. After I called in and filed a problem, I didn't realize that the contractors had to call and get permission to do the work. I thought they already had permission. So then they dont' do it because they're told not to. I hope my next experience will be much better.

False promises were made about their coverages.They have such a long wait time to get to a real live person to talk to. They don't follow through with their services. I've been receiving notifications that the equipment has been ordered from Choice to my email address and it's saying congratulations your equipment has been ordered and the technician will call you to set up a time to install. That's a bald faced lie they haven't placed the order yet. I called and asked the lady I got I said why did I get this notification if you all have not ordered the product and she says quite frankly I can't give you answer.

Sometimes stuff gets done but it's definitely not superior or what I would consider an expert level service, just kind of a middle of the road. I feel like their response times could be faster and their resolutions right could be better. I've had to pay for things out of pocket and then not get my money back because they didn't respond fast enough.

Dishwasher washer quit working paid 65 dollars for tech to say it's none fixable choose him warranty responded with a offer for ME to go purchase one that doesn't cover the cost of a new one plus I'm not a plumber or electrician I'm on SSD disability then I gotta wait over two weeks to talk to the adjuster about this.. in the mean time I do without.. I thought paying for this insurance fully covered my appliances IF I could not be fixed it would be REPLACED so far that's not true I feel it's false advertisement and taking Advantage of the old and disabled.. Thank you very much..

We had an issue with our microwave and they sent someone out to fix it in a reasonable amount of time. He did a great job and left. As far as customer service, they are one of the worst. They started calling, texting and emailing me 4 months before my contact expired. The messages they left me were miss leading and fraudulent. My original sales rep ignored my phone calls, text messages, emails and even Facebook messages. Bottom line, when we needed help with an appliance repair, they made it happen. If something doesn't go right and you my to go through your sales rep or customer service, forget it.

Used it a total of three time. The first time for the ac was great. The second time was for the dishwasher. I am still waiting for it to be fixed and that was three or four months ago. I haven’t heard anything. I had a water leak that ended up not being covered. They could provide more descriptions on what is covered. It would have saved me hours and a little but of money if is was more clear.

They tried to over charge me if I had not caught it in time. Six months into my warranty my air conditioning went down and they needed to replace a part and they said it was not compatible, so they have to put both the unit they said that I would have to pay for the exterior unit and when the charge came in I had to pay twice for the external unit which it was very difficult to get credit from them.
