Nothing they do works out I had gas leaks. They charged too much for me to pay so I didn’t use them for that my refrigerator. They gave me a gift card to Lowe’s. I don’t even shop at Lowe’s for any of my appliances and my bathroom went and help fix my bathroom so I’m really not pleased with this company at all

I had my refrigerator looked at by Ray's Appliance on 10/08/25 I was approved on 10/12/25 for condenser belt for a hotpoint I have not been notified when they will return. I'm going to call Choice to inquire on the claim.

The last guy that came here did not fix my dishwasher. He was not certified. He did not know what he was doing and he said it would take three weeks to get apart. I told him to leave because that didn’t sound right because I could get the part next day from Amazon. So sad. I still have a broken dishwasher probably going to fix tmyself.

Over the past two years, my experience with Choice Home Warranty has been consistently disappointing. There were only two aspects of the service that proved satisfactory: the cost of the plan and the simplicity of submitting a claim. Beyond that, the value simply was not there. Although the deductible per incident is $100, any appliance requiring repairs exceeding $333 (after deductible) was not repaired. Instead, Choice issued a replacement allowance capped at $333. In practice, this meant that even a high-end $5,000 appliance—such as a Wolf stove—was valued at $333, without exception. My assigned case manager repeatedly referenced the policy language stating decisions are made “at the discretion of Choice Home Warranty.” While the policy never discloses a specific cap, I was told this $333 limit is applied uniformly to all appliances, regardless of brand, type, or age, and it is not disclosed at the point of sale. Another significant issue was the difficulty in getting a technician assigned to my claims. On one occasion, with a furnace failure in the middle of a Wisconsin winter, my claim sat open for three weeks with no updates, no follow-up, and no response despite multiple calls and emails. I eventually located the CEO’s direct email address and informed him of the situation. Only after that contact did a case manager reach out—approximately 12 hours later—with a proposed path forward. The solution required me to pay for the repair out of pocket, have the technician call for prior authorization, and—if approved—wait up to six weeks for reimbursement. Based on these repeated experiences, I will not be renewing my service with Choice Home Warranty, nor can I recommend the company to others.

Claim was denied for false reason on my dishwasher. Choice denied claim because of a supposed power surge. Vendor put in writing that he did not tell them that. He said they asked if there was inclement weather around that time and told them there is no way to prove or disprove that. They will not honor the repair and claims specialist keeps canceling my scheduled appointments to speak to her. I have the emails to prove it. Now I find out they settled a gigantic lawsuit for doing that to customers over and over

He operates with one of those third-party numbers. That kind of service is unacceptable. I hope this is not standard for how you assign technicians to attend claims.

Calling in to make a claim you have to talk with someone that speaks poor English, Choice should employ American workers, I had a dishwasher washer go out and repair person said it wasn’t worth fixing, Choice warranty would only reimburse me 250 to buy a new one. 65 call out fee for repair man, 150 to have it installed. New stainless steal dishwasher is 700. Very disappointing on this service. Save your money and don’t get Choice Home Warranty

Thos company is horrible. Please don't get it. I've been without a frightened for almost 3 months. In my area only one person and he has told them several times it can't be fixed or he can't fix it. We are losing our food because it cools sometimes on tge frig side but then will shoot up to 54 degrees. Left side doesn't work. I don't here from them at all. I have to call them and talking to people in India I get nowhere. I have filed a complaint with the news station to assist me in getting this resolved
