I was very impressed that they worked with me on a monthly cost because I am 70 years old and on a fixed income. I said I couldn't afford the original price so they worked with me on a much lower price that I could afford. I just signed up for the warranty so I have not had too use it yet.

i used the reimimbursemant plan. it was a little confusing. a representive told me one thing and another gave me different information about the same question. they were not very friendly. the hvac tech had the same problem. have yet to receive information about receiving the reimbursement. the sales person lied about how much would be paid on each servvice call. not every service is is paid 100%

Just had our refrigerator repaired by Ivan from Troubleshooting Services. He did a great job, and cleaned up extremely well! Choice was able to assign someone to get our repair done quickly. Choice's subscription rates are reasonable, and they communicate well. We are confident they will fix things that come up in the future.

I am doing this 5 start because I choose this for my own personal reasons….I call went I was in need and they help me right away on the phone it took 2 weeks for the laundry machine to be fixed but it was fine with me just to be patient and wait…. I paid $80.00 on the first visit I think it’s the way it should be.,,.thanks

It was a great experience. I was skeptical at first, but I called and put in a claim, paid the deductible and scheduled the repair, and everything is done with no problems or issues. I’ll see about a couple more claims and if everything goes fine again I would probably get this for all of my properties..

I liked that they made it right by giving credit for the service fee since their car gave incorrect coverage info stating circuit breaker overloads were covered when they were NOT covered. Although it took a lot of time, arguing, phone tag and lots of time on hold before they gave the credit. They gave many no's at first and lied about pulling the tape of my conversation with the csr that made the mistake, initially. In the end they made it right thankfully. The service request I used it for was for my GE washer that had a broken belt and clogged fabric softener cup. The appointment given was over a week later so my laundry piled up and it was impossible to get a closer appointment time and they didn't seem very interested in helping me get a sooner appointment either. The tech fixed the issue though plus explained and showed me how to unclogg the fab softener cup if that happens again. What I didn't care for was how the check left when he was finished and waited till after he was gone to call me to let me know he was finished and explain a few other details that I really couldn't make out because the phone connection wasn't the best. I'm not sure why he did that and why he wouldn't call me when he was done then leave after talking to me so that part I thought was weird and unprofessional. I should probably give a lower score but because he fixed the issue no nonsense and the claim process was fairly easy plus the service fee was zero for me I think it deserves a three at least but they don't like to cover or follow any of their coverages Plus credit for that service fee even though they're on the wrong no matter what anyway you really have to pull teeth to get them to honor what they agree on and what's right which I think is very very wrong of the company and it doesn't look good therefore I'm not renewing my policy with them.

They advertise if the appliance, HVAC, etc. cannot be repaired they will replace it. That’s simply not true. They will pay half of what a new one would cost. However, they are very easy to work with and do everything they can to keep you as a happy customer. The service company, Simplicity Services, they sent to get my air conditioner going was very good. They were on time, made the repairs in amazing time, changed the filter, and checked the output for a good amount of time. Josh was friendly and very knowledgeable!

first - Best Company needs to incorporate into their code that multiple reviews can be given because multiple claims can be made and each claim should be rated. Best Company sent me a link after a HORRIBLE experience with Choice about replacing my microwave - in which they offered 1/3 of what a replacement costs AND they DON'T Install it! and I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY CHECK. However, for my last claim for my garage door opener, the technician was able to fix it and all I had to pay was the service charge. The technician did say that choice wouldn't cover it if it broke again if i didn't also have an uncovered service of balancing done - so i paid for that - not sure if i was duped but I do have an extra wide garage door and it made sense. so i did it. but the point was that CHOICE was 5 stars on this claim. the best I can do is give an average rating I supposed, because each claim is handled differently and should be rated thus.

The surprises of the “fine print” can be shocking. We were without hot water for 11 days while we had visitors staying with us. The customer service employees did not understand the seriousness of our situation. It was a problem for us that Choice Home Warranty only had one contracted company in our area, and they had problems which could have made our situation much different if there had been another business.

Not receiving a contract at the start and being told certain rules apply that were never revealed before the fact such as partial payment for choosing the option of using a non-member, when members are not available. Overall, the consumer rankings say I'd be more unhappy with other warranty companies. I believe those rankings.

Original claim was denied. Claimed the tie line was leaking. It was not. They said I could try and disprove their theory. My regular ac guy said it was the evaporator coil. I also hired a third party ac technician to make a thorough inspection. He provided a written report that the tie line was not leaking and the problem was the evaporator coil. They ignored his report. The manufacture’s warranty covered the part (about $1700). They had stalled for a couple weeks and the temp was averaging 95 degrees. I went ahead with repairs. Both of the ac companies provided photos of the repairs. They denied this. I asked for an acknowledgement and that’s when they erased the tx thread and closed the file without a reason. Once we replaced the evaporator coil, our AC worked perfectly and is still working. I am still a customer, but I don’t know why. Is 2 stars too much?
