For the past years that I have had my two contracts on my homes,I have had really good experiences. But in the past 3 years in NC, they have not been good, and yesterday was AWFUL and it still isn’t resolved! One guy was rude on the phone and another was trying to be very sneaky and was asking me all of these questions I couldn’t possibly know. If you don’t trust the assessment of your technicians, don’t hire them!

I called them for my garbage disposal. The next day the service technician came out. I did not have any issues with the service company but he was half an hour later then the time I was told. Everything went fine he replaced the garbage disposal and made sure that everything was running.

At the beginning I thought the customer service was really pour but it has gotten better. This last time when my dryer broke I called in that afternoon and there was someone scheduled to come the very next day and everything was really good. It is kind of a pour setup that the serviceman has to call in before they can finish or do the repair. They wait and lose so much of their valuable time and my time waiting for someone to call back. They need to have someone there available to talk to these technicians when they call in.

I've been a member with choice home warranty for over a year and they were not able to help the first time I needed them but the second time, when I was having problems with my heating system, it was a very good experience. Sometimes I have to wait a long time to even reach the customer service. I think last month my garbage disposal was not working and then I opened the claim online and at first, Choice Home Warranty denied my claim and then the technician called and said it was a mistake. They have the right technicians for the right job.

Choice Home Warranty is great for small issues. However, my wife and I had a nightmare of a situation when major issues arose (A/C Unit Replacement). I don't believe Choice offers the "Best Service" as all the scope of support for all CSR's I have spoken to is fairly limited. Furthermore, I do not believe there is anything setting Choice apart from competitors. Choice covers the same issues for about the same price. Choice does not go above and beyond and will do everything in your legal power to do what is easiest for Choice and not their customers. At this point I'm satified in having some form of home warranty, but whether it's Choice or someone else, it seems as Choice is like any other Warranty Company.

The repairman was to be here on a certain day but he did not show up - we were actually sitting in the living room looking out the window (also we could watch the mountain) . When I called they said he was at our home and no one was home. He was not truthful! So it was rescheduled - we had to spend another day waiting but when the new person showed up he did a great job.

So I guess Choice has been pretty good. I like the web interface and the speed with which they identify vendors. That said, they really weren't helpful at all when I needed more maintenance on the HVAC and found every way out of having to pay for more serious repairs.

I'm very happy with choice. Their response time is absolutely excellent. Pretty much as soon as you file the claim they set up and appointment with a company to come fix the problem Just recently I used my warranty for my refrigerator ice maker. I have two refrigerators in my house and two ice makers. One of them had been fixed previously by a very knowledgeable tech. This time instead of setting it up with the same company they went with a different company. I know choice gave them the ok to fix it but I haven't heard back from the company so I'm not sure what's going on.

Recently had a good experience with the replacement of the disposal and the plumber was very helpful and it was covered. They respond very quickly to a claim. I did have to negotiate with them to get rid of a dishwasher once and the hot water heater they didn't cover.

When you have a problem, they find somebody. Sometimes they have problems with the electrician or contractors but then they get somebody who's been here before, which I prefer. They take care of that issue when they get here and fix the job.

Inconvenient and unacceptable. It takes them a while to schedule appointments. The last time I needed to use it they schedule my appointment for about a week later and then when the guy came he said it couldn't be fixed so the next day they sent another guy and he fixed but in the meantime I was without my stove for about ten days and that's unreasonable I think that was too long to wait to have a repair done. When it's a large repair they find some reason to find it not eligible for the repair. That's happened to me twice.

The support is great. They answer my questions. They will respond within a day or two. My only problem with choice has been a lack of providers in the area. It normally takes them a couple of days before they can locate a provider.
