Both times they repaired the problem quickly and with no problem. With the exception of 1 vendor, their vendors have been good. And they changed the one vendor to another vendor and that vendor was very good.

When I call in, they always want to know how you are doing, first of all. Then they want to know why you're calling. It would be really great if you didn't have to have a service charge, but I understand.

I had mixed experiences with the service. While they promptly addressed our pool pump issue with ease, the plumbing problem in our shower has been frustratingly unresolved for months. They've switched to a different plumber, but we're still waiting for completion. Communication about coverage also needs improvement.

This is good coverage for a good price. The only hesitation I have in giving five stars is in the turnaround time to schedule repairs; sometimes it has been a week or more! When you have water leaking or a toilet running non-stop for that long, it isn’t an acceptable wait.

I liked the fact that I got my a/c fixed. However what I didn’t like was that the a/c company they sent to me recommended that I have a new compressor and evaporator and all Choice would approve was adding refrigerant. It seems like they should trust the people they are sending out.

We have made 2 claims on our pool, which went without being assigned. Therefore we found a local pool company who did help. We purchased a $400.00 Pat, which fixed. Problem, but CHW refused to reimburse us. Since that time we made 2 other claims, which have been assigned and went well.

Was not happy with my last claim. You denied my claim stating it was not normal wear and tear. My knobs on my range needed to be replaced. They are cheap plastic that surrounds each knob. So if you use your knobs which is the only way to turn on the burners, of course that is normal wear and tear. This was a simple not costly claim. But you denied it and it makes me question why I have the warranty. You said it was stated in the policy. I doubt that your policies are that detailed. And why upset a customer over a simple repair. Your 15 minute consult was a total waste. You weren't interested in listening to me and did not value me as a customer. Therefore I have placed a negative review of you on Goggle and also Amazon , which is where I eventually replaced my knobs. I deserve better than this and you deserved the negative relieve. I deny the review that I gave you after this episode. You caused me a tremendous amount of stress for a simple repair.

I like Choice Warranty. But sometimes I think it's up to me to make the decision about the people that they hire, if I'm going to use them or not, because it varies sometimes. Sometimes they send out some good people and then other times, I don't know where they get these people from.

They're very trustworthy. Customer service has been very, very good. They respond quickly and diligently in taking care of whatever my problem has been. They jumped right on whatever it was- ordered any part or whatever. The only thing is that they're just too expensive.

Overall, it's been a really good experience. We've only had to use it once and hope we don't have to use it a lot. We have a dishwasher issue. The appointment was set, the folks came out and they had to order a couple of parts. So they're coming out next week to fix it. But they were prompt, time wise, and very nice. It's not fixed yet, but that will happen next week.

Some of them work out nicely, but some of them don't. So there's unpredictability to it. There are times where customer support may be good, but the person who they've asked to do a piece of work, the workman, he or she might not be good. A good experience was when the air conditioner was not working, the person went there and switched the broken component and everything was working just fine.

Tech, contact us on Thursday the day we called Choice. He gave us a Monday appointment which my wife was not thrilled about, late Thursday night he called us to tell us he could be there Friday morning my wife was delighted. He came in assessed the problem. Fix the belt in a matter of minutes and it was gone.

I haven't had very good experiences with them. I've waited for a long time to get responses, and most of the time that I requested help, they sent me a text or an e-mail after a few days saying I can hire my own technician and they will reimburse, but if I had my own technicians, I wouldn't need Choice.

I called in a service order, Stating that my fan was making loud noises. I was told that someone would reach out to me. I was charged 75.00 The service person came out, Reported back that someone who created the fan the motor fan. The claim was my fan in the bathroom was making a very loud noise. They denied the claim and said that they don't fixed anything unless it's broken. Meaning does not work. I feel I could have been told that over the phone when I placed my order. So all of this could have been avoided. And I could have saved my money. So i'm sorry when you cost me money and you could have stopped it. With a simple phone call but you didn't. I cannot rave about your service.

The response was quick from Choice. I was not happy with one vendor they sent because it took two weeks to get a part to fix my refrigerator. They claimed it was their supplier. Two weeks without a refrigerator was hard to deal with. Once it was finally fixed I was grateful.

The staff is very helpful when processing a claim. The only problem I have is with the vendors they have on a listing. We had a problem 3 times about the vendor being unreliable or untrustworthy. When I make a complaint, they do not remove the vendor, but allowed them to accept my request for service the next time.

The thing I do not like with Choice Home Warranty is the response time between summiting a claim and the arrival of a repairman. Then, most of the time, they have to order a part which delays the repair. Also, I do not like the 30 day wait time for a E-Card in the case of a replacement settlement.

It takes too long to get a service appointment and god forbid you have to fight a claim then you are without the broken appliance the whole time. This happened to me with my air conditioning in Florida. I put in the claim Friday night and a technician picked it up and was scheduled to come between 3-8pm Saturday. Then the technician cancels the appointment and no one comes out until 6pm Monday. The technician does an examination and determines the Freon is very low due to leaky coils. He suggest replacing the unit. The company escalates the claim and then 3 days later denied the claim. I’m now almost 1 week with no AC. They tell me that the unit is dirty and the dirt is why it’s malfunctioning and they are denying the claim. They tell me the unit hasn’t been maintained even though it was professionally cleaned just over a year ago.

Easy to file a claim. We are in a smaller town and it is hard to get people to come here fast enough. Not necessarily Choice's fault, but very difficult to get work done. Right now have an issue with our microwave. Took a week to get here, had to order a part, and come back a week later. They tried to install the part but found there was more interior damage and the whole door needs replaced. Choice is arguing with the fixing company. Now it has been 4 weeks and we are still with out a microwave.

I would give a higher rating and the reason I have not is that when our water heater started messing up we went through everything but when the claim was approved by choice all we received was how much I would have to pay out of pocket which is around 1500 dollars. Nothing showing what was covered and how much the total job would be, so I am wondering why this is? 1500 is alot not counting the service fee to come out to the home. The customer should be able to see the total transaction from beginning to end.

The repair guys were nice and efficient and they stopped the faucet leak. The faucet was leaking a stream about like a pencil lead. I have noticed that it is now dripping just a drop every 4-5 seconds. I can live with that

I have made two claims with them and both of them I had to cancel. With both of them I had to purchase the air conditioner and the refrigerator because they just did not have any communication. On the first one it was just the fact that their provider took too long and then on the second one there was literally no communication. They weren't able to communicate between the vendor and Choice, so I had to cancel both of them. Pretty bad.

I called for a claim for my fridge and the servicing time where the technician came out was great. But the technician themselves were just okay on their customer service. I actually got double charged for my service fee. So I'm still waiting for them to refund me back the second payment, and I'm still waiting for them to fix the problem.

I get emails daily to buy the warranty. I already have the warranty, paid for a year. I did that on my own without help from someone on the phone who doesn't know what to do when I tell them I still have my policy active, The website is difficult to get around to find my policy . I did have to make one call, and everything went well. Please leave a note or something on my policy to stop calling me and sending emails about getting a policy. It's really starting to get annoying.

Also most of the plumbing companies you use are 2-3 star companies, You need to get at least one 4-star company!
