My wife and I had the old owners transfer to us and I had a claim. Appointment changed a few times, and I was getting more information from the sub-contractor. I believe there is a gap in the alignment between you and the sub. An easy fix I am sure.

I have found this appointment to be confusing! My technician came Sept 18 and found our ice maker was not working. He ordered the part and I paid the $60 fee. Today he came back to install the part but no parts cane to my house. Luckily John had one part with him, which he installed. The other part (new flap for ice maker door) has not arrived and he will need to make another hoouse call when that arrives. I have not renewed our coverage until I got this call completed. Right now Iam on the fence concerning renewal.

I'm happy for the most of my claims that were relatively small but when my refrigerator crashed choice would not fix it and only gave me $988 dollars to buy a compatible refrigerator that retails for $3,300. The technician they sent told me Choice would only pay a portion to replace my refrigerator. He gave me the names of other companies that would have replaced it. I was misled by their salesman about replacements.

The first repair minor and they sent 5 star rated company the second was much larger for ac compressor and they sent a never heard of company with not even a uniform shirt and zero rating. Of course claim was denied even though I change filters etc every 45 days. They're great for small repairs and screw you on larger ones. I will be canceling and going n g with American home warranty they a r e harder to reach but don't cheat you

They set up the repair and other than the time difference from what Choice Home Warranty said and the repair company said as far as arriving to fix it they were just a couple hours off. They seemed rush a bit when I talked to them on the phone.

I have to make multiple calls and talk to multiple people to get situations resolved in some cases. Not all. My air conditioner stopped working and so they went ahead and I had it repaired and they paid the full $1,500 that was under the contract. The only downside was it was a process I had to go through to get them to approve it.

We've had to use it a couple times. One time with our plumbing we were having an issue with our plumbing and and the plumber they sent out arrived in his own personal vehicle and then told me that I had to go buy draino for my drains. I had to persuade him to fix something underneath the sink in order for him to actually do something when he was here.

Last year my refrigerator technician came and he was trying to find out what was going on with the refrigerator and instead of repairing it, he broke a piece. That was in July I think, and it took him until December to get the piece back and I have to go choice and put a complaint and then they send me another company. They sent me Sears repair, effective and fixed. I think that the customer support for choice is good. The problem is the providers, the companies that they hire to do the job.

I had a ceiling fan that needed to be repaired and they sent a contractor which I really did not appreciate. The contractor arrived without a uniform, ID in the car. It was supposed to be a part that needed to be ordered. He fixed the fan by taking out the remote part, but he never put in the additional piece that was supposed to be ordered and that was from June of 2022. I still to this day have not received the part. I don't think that a warranty company should be setting appointments for their customers because what happens is that the customer most likely, in my case, will have to call back and rearrange the time. Other warranty companies that I've used let the customer call the company directly and make the time, set the time.

The air conditioning had gone out. It was 92 degrees outside. We contacted Choice Home warranty and they were unable to locate a technician to fix the air conditioning. So I called my agent and he was able to find out that my service request could be done differently and the way in which we could fix it was to call our own service technician to come take care of it. Choice was very prompt in reimbursing me for the repair that my technician performed.

I had a really horrible experience when I first got the home warranty and the last couple of experiences have been positive. Recently I needed the microwave replaced and the technician came out, checked the microwave, and the microwave was not worth fixing, so choice offered me a gift card toward purchasing a new one. Just recently I reached out to have warranty work done on my dishwasher and I had to call back because the person that they sent out didn't follow up after a week. When I called choice, they called the contracted appliance person who said that "We have the part and we will get back in touch." I still haven't heard from that person to set the appointment yet and if I don't hear from that individual by tomorrow I'll be calling choice again because they're not following up with their contracted services obviously.

Having Choice for roof services has not worked in my favor. It say limited service and I was not able to get any help with even patching up my roof. I wasnt requesting an entire new one but simply a repair to keep the ceiling in my guest room form further damage. The contractor gave a report of what needed to be done but that particular job is not covered. It really makes no sense but their rules are their rules.

The first time we called Choice they sent Sears to fix our refrigerator. They ordered parts and shipped 2 of 3. Weeks went by and they couldn’t get the 3rd part. Neither Choice nor Sears could resolve it so had to call Whirlpool to fix the problem. Paid my per call fee to Choice without any fix. Not a good result for using Choice. My fee should be refunded since you couldn’t fix the problem.

They answer the phone and they seem to get back to you very quickly. The first time I used it I went online enter the problem, I didn't hear back to them so I called a live agent and they scheduled an appointment for a repairman to come. I think it's inappropriate that you have to wait 30 days for a check. They're quick to replace appliances, but waiting for reimbursement is too long.

Sometimes they would reply, they would tell me that a tech was fine and they would leave a number for me to reach out to the technician that I wanted to schedule a more convenient time and I would find out that that tech was not associated with Choice Home Warranty anymore so it seems like their database or whatever they're using is not as updated it could be. Recently we did our washer and they sent someone out and our washer was no good at all, so they said we could get a Lowe's gift card for $360. I just wanted to know if I can get money some other way because you can't buy a washer for $360 and I wanted to just buy one off Facebook. But it took me 2 weeks to get an answer to that question. I had to make an appointment and everything, and then it took another 30 days to get a check. Whereas if they would have just answered me when I first asked that question, it would have been speed up. But I couldn't get anyone to answer me.

I really love that Choice Home warranty would vet some of the companies that they reach out to for servicing because I was dissatisfied with the company that they sent to me a couple of weeks ago for my dryer which wasn't working, and the guy was very young. I don't think he was experienced enough to actually fix the problem.
