Every time I call, there's always someone ready to pick up and answer my questions. The equipment is ok for the most part. The only piece that doesn't work is the fire and smoke alarm, that one fell down because the glue doesn't stick well to the wall.

I picked it since they were one of the easiest systems to set up and they had a great price, especially compared to systems like ADT. I filled out their online contact information form and they called me back within the first day. They got everything set up and ready in no more than half an hour. We set up the billing and they checked with me how many floors the house had, entry ways, windows, and stuff like that so they could provide me with enough sensors for everything. Any additional sensors were $60 so my initial cost for everything was very low, only $160 and there was no contract. Other companies I checked charged you more, including charges for set up. 3 days later I had all the stuff I needed. It came with instructions for you to set it up yourself and it was pretty smooth and easy.

I wanted to try something different than ADT and, since I had heard great things about Frontpoint, I went for it. The system is quite good but it's still a little old, especially the keypad. Everyone is quite helpful or at least they try to be. Sometimes it can take a while to get the issue resolved though. I had a few problems where I had to call multiple times or I couldn't get a good answer from customer service. The only other thing is that I felt that the company was not very transparent in terms of pricing and the breakdown of all the fees. To this day I don't have a detailed breakdown of what I paid for the initial service and set up. If I have to return or exchange the equipment it's not very clear if I'll be refunded anything at all. I've tried multiple times to ask them some of these big questions, but no one has ever been able to give me a clear answer.

Our son had it and since he liked it we went with it too. The system is smaller than other ones and it's easier to use too. It's very user friendly and once we got it set up we had no problems with it. Customer support is very good on the telephone but sometimes you just need someone to come out and help you and they don't offer that.

When I call I can always get to a person and talk to them. They're also good about calling back whenever that's needed, especially if someone comes into the house without turning off the alarm. The equipment does exactly what it's supposed to do. The only thing is that it's always difficult to have everything set up perfectly on windows. I went with them since it's easy to get on my phone to check on things when I commute. Every time I've called them they have been there to help me. They were very helpful when it came to setting up my camera and some other parts of the equipment. Some of the people there know more than others though. The equipment itself is kind of average. I mean, even though they have that snatch and grab system or whatever for damage control, some of their sensors don't work correctly. Still, they do a good job at responding quickly and sending out any parts you might need though. It just requires a little more equipment but it's very expensive.

I went with them because they gave you the option to pay by month. I thought that was easier than what other companies offered. I ended up regretting it though. I had to install everything myself and now I'm tied to a 3-year contract with them that I cannot just cut off. If I'm given the chance, I'll switch to another company. I'd just rather have another system that lets me see who rings my doorbell as soon as they do. This one can't do that.

I was going to go with another company that was less expensive and had a month to month payment system, but I found out that they were having some security issues. After that I didn't want to go to ADT because I had heard they were just too big and weren't as good as they used to be. In the end it all came down to Frontpoint. They've pretty much been there every time I've called. I haven't had to wait and they walked me through the process of setting the system up. They're really good. I assume the equipment is as good and sophisticated as any other company I looked at before. It has this system where, if the power goes out, everything will keep working with the backup batteries.

In comparison to other services, they have a better price and an easier to use system. The equipment is great, but the sticky part that you use to put it up on walls doesn't exactly work on all doors and windows. That might require some extra work. On the sales side of things, they are very responsive, they did an excellent job on that part. It was pretty aggressive and I hoped that would carry over into customer support, but it did not. Customer support kind of falters after the initial sale, they're not very responsive via phone or email.

I went with them since they offered the best value and their system was the most versatile. I'm happy with it for the most part but we just had a false alarm that ended up calling the state police to my house. I think it's a faulty motion sensor that's just too old. It has called the police out two times already. I don't think that should've happened. I mean, overall I think they're a good company, I'm 95% pleased with the service. It's just that glitch that has me annoyed.

They were more cost effective for us than ADT. We didn't need as much equipment in order to cover the square footage of our home as we would've needed with ADT. Since it was all self-installation too, we went with it. We've had it since November and everything seems to work well. I got my service in January and I've had numerous issues with this service. To start, their staff from salesmen to supervisors don't seem to be on the same page. The salesman that I talked to even gave me their number but they never picked up when I called back to tell them I was having issues. Set up was easy, but I've had a lot of other issues after that. Right out the box I had bad products. I'm on my third control panel because I had issues with the first two. The third one seems to be working well so far. I was advised to buy a garage door opener, which I bought, but it hasn't been able to get connected to the whole system. They also sent me a door lock that I had to set up and then take back down because the code that came up with the manual was the wrong one. I'm even missing a few parts still. Now I'm just paying for the service while I wait to get equipment that actually works. In the meantime, my house is not secure at all. I think I'd be better off if I had paid a middleman to come and install the equipment so that at least they can make sure everything is working properly from day one. I regret calling them, it has been more of a headache than anything since I got it.

After doing research I found out that they were the number one security system so I went for it. When I called to inquire about it, they were very thorough and very helpful. They walked me through each step to get it and I'm very confident that I will be ok with it. The person that helped me even gave me his phone number in case I need to reach him directly. They are extremely helpful when troubleshooting issues. The one problem I've had is that the camera is very sensitive to fog, snow, and rain, so it sets the alarm off when there's any of that. Inevitably, I've had to unplug it whenever there's a snowstorm.

Their equipment is older. After I got it I went back and researched a bit more about what other companies were offering. I saw a lot of really good digital kind of equipment available. Frontpoint is still using analog so I really think they should upgrade. The monitoring and equipment are both very costly too, especially if you consider what it costs and what they provide. They either need to reduce the price or provide more equipment and service.

My sister uses it, so I decided to give it a shot and see if it would work for me. Outside of the initial set up, I haven't really had to contact them. I really need to call them though because I'm not really sure if my unit is actually working correctly. It does look like everything is good quality. One thing that isn't as good though is the parts they give you for the set up like the sticky things you use to put things on the wall. Those are not really that strong.

We chose Frontpoint because they gave me more flexibility, we didn't have to sign a contract for a whole year or 2. Instead we could do it on a monthly basis. Whenever I call they are there to answer immediately, I don't have to wait for a long time for an agent to pick up. I'm always satisfied with the answers that I get. Most of the equipment that they sent me is good but I've stopped using the motion sensors. They were just not working properly; they wouldn't detect motion or anything of the sort. It's very important for us to have those in case someone breaks in but if they don't work that's no use. I also wish that they came with cameras or video we could look at if they went off. A thing I liked was the flexibility of being able to activate the alarm from my phone. They also had this feature you had to opt into to make it harder for someone to hack into your central system. That feature alone was expensive though, $47.99. After a neighbor told me we were in a secured zone, I decided to get rid of those two features. . .

I found a list of the top 10 best companies for this type of service. I started calling them all and checking on them but I didn't really have a lot of time to call everyone. In the end I settled with Frontpoint because they seemed like a good company and their equipment had good features. I really don't know the full extent and capability of the system. I assume it's all working properly. A lot of times though, when I look at the application, it will say that the network is down or something. I don't know if that's my phone's network or if it is Frontpoint's network, but that's a little disappointing. I think their customer service is fine. I don't always get to someone right away when I call, there is a little lag between the call going through and a live person come on the line. Otherwise, it's fairly good.

I chose them because I like what they offered and the personnel was good. Talking with them was a good experience. Every time I call I get good responses and feedback. They can always help me with whatever situation comes up. They could definitely do better with the sensors and the monitor. Like, it would be nice to be able to tell when someone opens a door and also which door it was. That kind of capability would be great.
