The service is okay. A lot of times I think it take them a few minutes to call you back and sometimes they don't even call you back. The way it's set up, if you go in and cancel the call, they won't call you back. If I'm coming in and I open the door and the alarm goes off, I cut it off with my key chain on my key, but nobody ever calls me.

We decided to get a security system because some robbers broke into our next-door neighbors house and they had a lot of problems. We used to have the wireless-cell service and that worked well. We decided to switch to the internet based connection and it isn't as good. We have issues sometimes with our sensors. The company is good to deal with though. I'd give them a 7 or 8.

One of my neighbors got broken into so I wanted to make sure that my home was protected. I found them online, and I have been pretty satisfied. The last couple of years though a few of my sensors haven't been working and they wont come out to repair them so I don't know what tot do. The price is pretty fair, which is why I am keeping them. The service has been fine, I just wish they would make the repairs to my sensors. I give them a 7.

Every time I've had a problem, the have been able to solve it. The service is good, and the product works, and that's basically all I need. The only complaint that I have is that they switched to a new sort of control box, and it doesn't give me the delay that I need to get in and turn the alarm off. So I'm constantly setting the thing off.

The only problem is that technical support isn't available all night. Once it gets late, their phones shut down and you have to text them. Sometimes it's kind of hard to diagnose the problems when you're texting with someone.

3rd and final update. I have installed my four motion sensor cameras and the clarity is AMAZING! They were very helpful through the installation process and answered all my questions. The motion detection notifications took a couple days to get used to, overwhelming at first, until I figured out when and how much I wanted to be notified. So at this point, I'm VERY HAPPY! Protect America really proved to me what a great company they are and how much they really care about their customers and their satisfaction!!! VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SYSTEM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! UPDATE ON MY ORIGINAL REVIEW!!! On 9/12, I left a pretty upset (long) review. On 9/13, I got a call from Nico at Protect America. I told him my issues and he offered to resolve them and made things VERY RIGHT! I just received all my new equipment today 9/18 and I'm very happy and excited! I will be setting it all up this weekend! Thank you Nico for making things right with me!!!

My only problem is what it cost a month. Figure it out $57.99 per month comes to $638.88 each year for the 5 plus years comes to $3,575.33. Don't get me wrong. If you take 1" x 2" and you cut them a little longer so you can nudge them between the top of the lower window to the above frame, one on each side you will never need a window sensor. You just put sensors on your doors and one or two glass breakage sensors it becomes, or should be much cheeper then all the gismos that home security people try to convince you that you need you need......

Great Customer Service and Great Alarm system never had a false alarm only set the Smoke Detector off once they called quickly I love the alarm.com service I get with them its very reliable I did have a bad experience with them one time when my parents needed a new alarm company I choose to go With PA and got the System and was treated very Badly but They Allowed me to be Refunded for what i paid I still have them at my main home hopfully one day i will try them again for my parents home but since that one bad time I still love the company dont let one bad rep make you wanna choose another company they have always been willing to work with me and i cant wait to move with me to my new home once i get done with the Closing Process I love LOve LOVE LOVE LOVE This company Highly Recommend them

This is an an e-mail I sent to Mika B. today: I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for being so helpful today. I would rate your customer service an ”A+” for AWESOME. You were so gracious and went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. You made my day! After receiving such arrogant e-mails from Velyncia D., my intention for calling today was to cancel my service with Moni. After being a customer for 10 years, I would have expected her to try much harder to make sure I continued to be a happy customer. Velyncia seemed as if she could care less about the customer. She was so eager to accept my response that I would be cancelling my service without any further communication as to why or what she could do to change my mind. Her attitude seemed as if the customer is not satisfied, she would be more than happy to cancel their service. In my opinion, she definitely should not be communicating with customers with an attitude like that. Needless to say if I had not had such a wonderful experience with you today, I would have cancelled my Moni service and would definitely not be recommending Moni to anyone. Again, thank you so much for being so pleasant and willing to make sure your customers are happy. Moni needs more people like you!

I've had LiveWatch for 2-1/2 years (as of this month - 01/2018). I did extensive comparisons prior to taking them on. My priorities were: 1- Backed by an excellent monitoring company (they are - Alarm.com) 2- Crash & Smash protection (alarm is sent if invaders attempt to destroy the equipment or disconnect) 3- Multiple level plans (they do) 4- Graphic user console (they do - IQPanel from QOLSYS) There is also a higher level of options with this panel, that allows me select specific parameters for each sensor. 5- Easily expandable sensors at no charge (except for cost of the sensors themselves) (yes, and I have) 6- Dual communication - Cellular and Wi-Fi (they do) 7- Common standard for sensors (they do - Z-wave) 8- Pet immune sensors (they do, up to 40 lbs.) I use my own video and smart home system, because I prefer particular modules of my own choosing (my cams are much higher end than almost all alarm company offerings). The one time I had a console problem, due to a bad battery, they immediately shipped out an entire new console, pre-programmed and ready to plug in. Never a problem w/ billing, and only a 12 month initial contract (most others are 3 years).

Excellent price and warranty, high quality equipment, quality support. We paid $99 up front for the panel, two door alarms, a water alarm, a motion detector and two fire alarms. This system is wireless within the house (GE Z-Wave) and LTE to the monitoring centers (alarm.com). If we cancel in the first year we will get a refund on the equipment and if not we will own it. I did not like the Livewatch video integration or anyone else's at this time. To get the best functionality you should look at separate system. Also, the installation takes longer if you are very careful and happen to have high ceilings (fire alarms). I set aside a day, that way I could verify everything and I could have it turned live immediately. Ordered on Thursday, installed on Sunday, live on Tuesday, we left on vacation on Thursday after giving a trusted the neighbors a code with iOS monitoring on our iPhones.

I installed the LiveWatch equipment over a year and a half ago. The unit has worked flawlessly from the beginning. I have 13 sensors and accessories connected. I still keep the monitoring contract because they have been flawless. I received a call that my motion sensor was tripped in the garage at 3:00 AM in morning. I had not heard the alarm. I told the agent that I would check it out. I thought maybe a neighbors remote opened the door. The monitoring agent did not think that was a good idea and offered to call the police. She was right- a raccoon had entered through a window and tripped the motion sensor. With a number of family members entering and leaving through multiple exits, the ASAPER feature is excellent in controlling false alarms.

I must have done dozens of hours of homework and review research (when did I become this person!?). In part of my research, I started a chat session with LiveWatch one night, and must have asked over 50 questions. The rep, Ajay, was phenomenal. He never pressured me, tried to sell me, etc. - honestly just a friendly knowledgeable 2-hour chat session. He continued to answer a couple dozen more questions over email over the next couple of days. I can't remember the last company that had a rep with so much passion for their service before, it was refreshing. The upfront costs were low compared to the big box security systems, and the monthly rate the same or lower than them too. The best Alarm.com panel came with the package (released Summer 2017). Motion sensors have cameras built into them. And one of the best sensors imo is the "FireFighter", picking up a signal from your existing smoke alarms to capture both photoelectric and ionization (the major TV-commerical DIY security system can't do this). From great sensors, great panel, amazing customer service, low or equal monthly rates, and ALL of my hours and hours of research (agh!), I am 100% comfortable securing my home with LiveWatch and I'd do it all over again too. (P.S. LiveWatch offers life time warranty on all sensors/panels, you just have to ask - a little catch there)

I had called originally to cancel my service because I recently sold my home but after talking with Kayla, I changed my mind and decided to continue my service for two more years. Kayla was such a blessing; she was so kind and sensitive and went above and beyond to try and help alleviate all my concerns. It was a joy to work with her and she made everything seem effortless. Kayla was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and patient as she took all the time needed to answer my questions. It is rare these days to have the opportunity to work with someone that genuinely cares about their customers the way Kayla did me. Thank you for hiring such quality people.

Moni alarm system is the best. I had a mother company for 25 years & they were very cold, all business & not friendly. All they would do for me was to increase the amount of money for their services. They never came out to update my equipment. Had to call them for problems & of course they charged me a trip call. If problem was not resolved & had to call them back call them back they then charge me with a second trip call. Not right. Moni is charging me LESS per month than the other company & I had been with them for 25 years. Very happy with Moni & their GREAT customer service.

I have only had the LiveWatch service for about a month so haven't had to test the actual reliability and response times yet but the initial experience with them so far has been excellent. Very friendly, responsive and courteous people I have spoken with at each step of the process from ordering to install and set-up to support. I did a lot of research before choosing a home security provider and found the LiveWatch system, and integration with the Alarm.com products and smartphone app, to be a great choice for my family's needs. Tons of options and flexibility, room to expand the system down the road with other nice smart home features, and a super easy interface on the control box and the smartphone app, which is how I interact with the system 90% of the time.
