It can be very deceiving and confusing to some. I received sim and then messages saying at 29 days to start service or lose it. Mind you just received yesterday right now getting messages to bring my number for free service. They gave me a new number already and service is free is it not. I thought it came with a phone. Really had I known it didn't I wouldn't of signed up .. having to buy a phone when I can't even afford a bill. Kinda makes very little sense. If going to give service and collect government money to pay for my phone service why not ad the phone for free. Now it's all working I got a phone from target not cheap and it's set up. Service seems good so far..

I've had Q-Link for around 3 years. The only problem is I can't get connected to the internet with it. I live in a smallish town that sits in a pocket of the Colorado mountains. The other problem was my service was turned off a few weeks ago without any warning or explanation. It's taken me almost 3 weeks to find out that I needed recertification. That means, prove that I still qualify for the free service. I had to email a copy of SSDI statement showing that I receive Social Security Disability and it's below the qualifying limit of income. I didn't get any warning about needing to have recertification. I had to go through applying for the Q-Link service again. I didn't even get notified when it was turned back on. The whole thing could have been handled a lot better, without causing me all the stress of wondering why my service was turned off. I was worried that I was going to loose my number and have to get a new Sim card then let everyone know that I have a new phone number. What really agrivated me was NOT getting ANY WARNING. That it was a normal recertification that's done every 3 years.

Perhaps it was because I signed up during the Christmas time frame, but I've had difficulty in locating human customer support personnel. One likely result of this is that I'm uncertain as to whether my chosen phone number transferred to Q Link because I got confused by the menus and what they told me. Examples: email dated Sat, Dec 23, 9:49 AM (3 days ago) 'Phillip we're trying to resolve your request' contrasted with email dated Sun, Dec 24, 5:06 AM (2 days ago) '2149464872 Is In Progress to Transfer to Q Link Wireless'. So I await the transfer with anticipation and puzzlement, and want to make sure that I receive the other benefits advertised by Q Link.

I loved the customer service. I really am not liking the phone I purchased and wish I could've kept my flip 3. Art finally gave my daughter a 16 number code only the provider that has my number can unlock according to them. Att. I really wanted that number on that phone but I don't know where to start . It would be great if your company could help. Your cute service rep that helped me was lovely and patient. Also I still qualify for a tablet and have proof via govt email. Hey a different co called excess sent me a tablet free? I'm sending it back. Other than these things I'm satisfied for now. Fix my flip with same number and I'd be ecstatic. Thank yiu, Cynthia Mello

It is amazing to have phone service not just for a low cost but literally for FREE! This saves me $100+ a month vs. choosing a major phone carrier. It was easy to sign up, get approved, and enrolled. Before I knew it my SIM card kit arrived in the mail, I put the SIM card in my phone and I immediately had service. I’ve travel a decent amount in my state and I have had no issue with not having any service. Sometimes the internet service can get a little slow which is why I left 4 stars instead of 5, but regardless, switching to Q Link Wireless was one of the best decisions I’ve made and I recommend it to everyone out there and I’m so thankful for this!!

Appreciate the on time and complete benefit added each month. I have lifeline thru qlink. BUT when I first started the program I had lifeline and the ACP benefits both with qlink. They had promised a tablet with the ACP benefit but when I asked they co.said I had to wait because they were waiting on the tablets and when received it would then be sent to me. Well after a yr of waiting and no tablet. I decided to transfer ACP benefit to another carrier (which by the way , are never on time and repeatedly do not fufill complete benefit). So...I have have never received a tablet from anyone and thought qlink should have fufilled their promise as they received both ny lifeline and ACP benefit for almost a year or more.

The free service is awesome since I'm supporting a family of four on only $550/mo. from a minuscule pension I earned years ago. But there are a few issues I'd like to see resolved. I go thru the ritual of all the cleaning/scanning options at least once a day, but the security icon that shows up first, almost never will come up. Sometimes when I go to Cleaner, and then go thru all of those steps, then I can tap Security again, and it may work. And, after I go thru all of these, many of them come up again which seems redundant to me. My phone tells me often that I've NEVER used the anti-virus feature, or haven't used it for many days, which is anything but true. On the video calls I do, the camera almost always switches back to "out" from "selfie'" by itself, and I have to change it back. Also, voicemail comes up automatically sometimes - half the time I have to call the VM# which is inconvenient. Also, I wish my phone would give me the ph.# the voicemails are coming from, so I can reply if the person doesn't leave me their ph.#. I also wish I could automatically block solicitation call numbers when they leave voicemail. All I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's more issues. Thanx for your concern, and I'll greatly appreciate any or all of these issues being resolved. Have a nice day! Regards, David Garrett

When i first saw an ad online from you guys i quickly signed up to get me a government phone but i guess i missed the important info about what type of free phone service that i had signed up for until i went to go check my mail i only got the qlink sim phone kit only and not the qlink phone i was expecting to get so after i got my sim phone kit from you guys i started to search all round my house and my sisters house to find a unlocked cellphone for my sim card and even went and asked friends and family if they had an extra unlocked phone and it seemed crazy for when nobody had one i can use for almost going on a month without having a phone missing out on my calfresh benefits because i didnt have no phone with service and a callback # to give to my caseworker until a week ahalf ago my friend finally came thru for me and blessed me with a good unlocked phone and thank you guys for not cancelling my free phone service even after all your guys emails sent me saying that i need to hurry and use the service or else its going to get cancelled thanks for your guys patience...sincerely a happy camper!!...

I love the service and the free minutes but what is killing me is you have to buy a phone through them that works but you pay 35 dollars for the cheapest phone and it's a phone from like 5 years ago so it runs slow as hell and freezes up oh yes I would love to have the Google 6 but if you truly only get food stamps and not skimming the system you can't afford a phone for even 259 dollars I am too broke and poor to afford anything like that the most expensive phone I have ever bought was 50 dollars that about max I can spend for a phone so for us poor and broke people why can't we catch a break and get a decent phone for a decent price for one because I know me and several people out there feel like that wish we could get a new Samsung or apple iphone but we can't afford it on what is we get paid just bills but that's my complaint even SafeLink and most of the other free government phone companies at least give you the first phone for free

It's a good service, and it's a decent company, but being completely honest with your customers would be very appreciated. Because even though you claim to have unlimited data, this is not a fact. Your unlimited everything plan does provide unlimited calls, and texts, but your data cuts off completely after 30 g of data every month. That's a fact, so unlimited data is actually false advertising on your part. I would've given you 5 stars if you were honest about the 30 g of data a month. So overall, I've had a good experience with your company, so I gave you 4 stars, because of the dishonesty about the data being unlimited. I'm sure this comment won't be shown anywhere since I've exposed the truth about the 30 g of monthly data, but that's okay, I just had to voice the truth

If it wasn't for this government assistance program I wouldn't have known what else to do after not only losing a loved one but a job you worked for nearly five years to come to an end, based on closure. Then a friend introduced me to this Government Subsidy called Qlink. Qlink have been the savior that I was looking for, and guess what? It connected me to a whole new level of freedom. With Qlink I found another Job and a great service of this Government Assistance program for free. Yes, you heard me right. Free!!! I recommend this to anyone who needs it to stay connected rather w/your loved or just surfing the internet with your new Government phone 📱 with Qlink...Trust me you won't regret it & plus, you don't have to pay anything other than you just utilize it for once a month call or texting in order to maintain your services. So go ahead and try it. You have nothing to lose but you definitely gain a good service w/Qlink...Thank you Qlink for your Service.

I have had my QLink Wireless Lifeline phone since 2018. For the most part service has always been sufficient and at no charge to me. I am still able to have this Lifeline phone service through QLink Wireless as I am in a very low fixed income since having to retire early in order to obtain my SSA retirement income which is below the poverty level pretty much and I am 62 years of age which also qualifies me for EBT SNAP Food Stamp program. This is another government state program that provides me with extra income by allowing me to be eligible for food stamps for consumable food items only. There was an issue when I needed a replacement phone and there was a chip shortage in Chine which delayed me getting a replacement phone which I had to purchase. I have also experienced homelessness since 2018 and during COVID-19. I was living in my car for quite sometime until it was repossessed on February 13, 2020. The mobile phone provides me with urgently needed access to calling 911 in case I have to contact them for a dire emergency. There have been times when I was without a cell phone at all as I was waiting for funds or to purchase a replacement phone as needed to survive in this jungle of survival of the fittest. I am still homeless and without anytype of housing. Even the Houston Coalition for the Homeless denied me a place to live because in the end they said I needed to have a steady income to be considered for the program. Yet others were approved for the same housing for free for extended periods of time and had no income at all. I am also disabled and currently going through that long process of being approved for disability SSA benefits in addition to early retirement income that I qualified for when I turned 62 on February 24, 2022. It took another 90 plus days to be approved and got three months of retirement income in June, since they also make you wait 30 days in the beginning after my online application was completed and received and pending review after that. I do not pay for my service, I get free talk, text and data. I only have to pay for replacement phones since the original phone stopped working do to moisture getting into the and the battery would no longer work.

Q Link Wireless is the best, honestly. My father in law was going on and on about his new phone company and he won't have to pay a dime so it got me interested, got approved instantly and I've now had that line with Q Link since early 2021, the ONLY thing I could complain about, and still annoyed with, is that if I qualify for the sim card with free data then I also qualified for the pad, and if I remember correctly; I had filled out another form for it and submitted it back and have never received. Would have been better to not offer the pad, if I wasn't going to actually receive one... Other than that, I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!

I am overall very satisfied with being a customer at Q Link Wireless. I only had 2 or 3 times that I had to call customer service for an issue I had and only once spent a long time on hold waiting for a representative but was taken care of professionally Now I have always had an issue with the phone that was given to me because its slow , can not do updates , can only download 1 game from google play and half the time when I try to play the game it closes out on me so I'm constantly restarting the phone and try to only just use to make a call or text., can not hear the ring tone or when I can it is a quick few beeps\rings and not enough to realize the phone went off. Now the phone is broken and do not have money for a replacement phone hence the reason why I got the phone in the first place. i have a phone that is compatible but trac phone ( which is a provider for the government-free phone ) won't unlock the network so I can use it so I'm stuck with no phone. The only thing I can do now is to terminate from Q Link Wireless find another place that offers the free phone deal and sign up with them , perhaps Safe Link Wireless I think they are one?

It was a great service I had it for a long time for some reason all of a sudden it stopped and there's a glitch in the program and try to get back through couldn't get through on the website finally something happened where I did get through on the website it's difficult once you're on it and then you get turned off I had to buy a new phone because they sent me a chip but it was for 5G phone and the phone that I have from them was not compatible said to buy a new phone once I got the new phone though everything worked fine and everything's been swell and a new phone was reasonably priced you know you had your choice of how much you wanted to pay so I got a smartphone mid-range. I think it's as well option it helped when I really needed it

I am a 37 year old woman who has worked since I was 15 & am a hard worker but recently became unable to work do to a couple disabilities so being unemployed made it extremely hard to keep a phone or really have one at all & thank goodness for company's like Q-link who make it possible for citizens like me to have a trusted lifeline!! Thank you for everyone at Q-link who makes this possible for us & I don't know what I would do without this program & I am truly great full for everything including data being unlimited!!! I use my phone alot & don't really have access to WiFi so it meant alot to me when they changed it to unlimited data!!! Only thing I don't like is that finding an affordable unlocked phone was kinda a hassle for me & I wish it were a little easier to qualify for it cause it was a lot of requirements & hoops to jump through like having to be on some sort of state assistance etc to be eligible wich was harder for me than I thought but still appreciate it & I will be sad when the unlimited data is over but otherwise Keep up the great work Q-link & Thank You So Much for making it possible to have a free service! -Maddy M.

Obviously free unlimited for a phone service now a days is unheard of, but not for QLink Wireless. They are helping me so much, and I'm sure alot of you out there are thinking how can this be free? Free local and long distance calls, free internet bluetooth, and it is all unlimited and free! Covid-19 Cost alot of people their homes, their jobs, their sense of normal. QLink is making everything a little better. If you are like me, most of my life is on my phone! Either googling something, checking social media, job hunting. We use our phones for everything. Please take the time and consider it. You will be happy you did!

I want to rate all 5 because the service is as good as any other service that I've had to pay for. I have never had any issues. But I signed up for the program that promises a free tablet months and months and months ago, but have never received the tablet or heard anything more about it. And it is literally impossible to ever talk to a customer service person. They just never respond to any emails or messages at all. So that's incredibly frustrating and I don't know what I'd do if I ever needed to reach them for something else if I can't reach them for that. I would love to just know if the tablet is really ever coming or not!!

What I like best about q Link is obviously the fact that it is free unlimited talk text and data! There are a few things that can use improvements such as the service works great in my area of Southern New Hampshire. But once I'm anywhere north of Concord, New Hampshire, the service is so spotty I can hardly make a call and can't use any apps or anything that needs the internet. That's probably because this is a T-Mobile carrier and they don't have many towers in the Central and northern part of the state. Most people have to use Verizon towers up there so I don't know if there's a way that you guys could talk to Verizon and see if they'll let you bounce off their towers with their service or whatever but just a thought. That's my only real concern with this service though. The only other thing I can think of that would make this service more enjoyable would be the ability to have a hotspot, even if it meant paying for it but when I spoke to someone on the phone about it they said that this plan does not offer any mobile hotspot.

I’ve loved everything about it and it’s saved me already. My only complaint is when I don’t have wireless available Qlink only shows 1 or 2 bars and download is super slow, if I can connect at all. I’ve also had call after call disconnect. I fell a week ago and wasn’t near wireless and Qlink was so slow my txts for help weren’t sent and my calls to my daughter were dropped. She finally got worried enuf to come check on me and got me off the floor and in bed. I found out I broke my arm from the fall. Very scary. I hope you can fix the connectivity issues. So grateful to keep my phone I know and everything else was fast and easy. Thank you!

I'm very grateful for this service.. Im no spring chicken, That's for sure. But I am only in my 40s and unfortunately, I have a very severe form of MS. I had MS for quite a while before I was diagnosed, along with many other symptoms My hands quit working completely, for two years. So, Even though I had no diagnosis yet I had no choice, but to stop working. So I hadn't worked in a couple years before I finally found a doctor who diagnosed me. All It took was a brain MRI. So even though I had worked my entire life I missed getting full social security by 2 months.. So I only get $841 per month. And I still have rent all the utilities insurance all that. Phone service with something that I just could not afford. My situation is not going to change. Unfortunately, I'm never going to recover enough to go back to work. So this program this service really really helps me so much!! I would have given five stars if it wasn't for all the spam calls I got day and night 24/7. And at least, 10 calls and texts per day for the previous person who had my phone number. I'm sorry for giving my whole medical story, But I think it's important to express how grateful I am for the service.

To be honest ,how can anyone dislike a phone that has no bill! However I hate when it is time to renew the service and this is why! My legal nave is David! Which is a name that can just as easily have people that call you Dave ! So I don't know why if I don't get it correct the first time because I should of used the other one! Which is the same name ! This has happened 2 times and after waiting for 20 -30mins ! It just bothers me that because I gave them the wrong name and they treat me like I'm not me well that really makes me feel insulted! So then I have to start all over and hope I don't get ( him or them) because I am fraudulently trying to be someone else! Well you get the point, unless I'm writing you! Great but if I am and I give the correct password is it that much of a reach to think that it's even spelled almost the same way! P.S. did I mention this happened twice!

It took me awhile to find a phone that was compatible with my new Q Link SIM card; I wanted to use it in my newer Boost phone, but it wasn't eligible to be unlocked. I haven't had it for 12 months...it's so funny, as soon as I emailed you guys about how much trouble I was having and how I couldn't afford to pay my Boost phone bill anymore and how dangerous it was for a woman to be without a working phonea miracle happened: this little "unlock phone" icon popped up on my older ATT phone and as soon as I pressed it, low and behold, my phone was compatible with my new QLink SIM card!!!Now I've got a working phone with minutes and data like everybody else in the world. It just took a few weeks for me to figure it all out. Thank you, QLink!!!

Love it anywhere else just not where I live. It work ok when outside my home or in my car but not inside. Not sure if it's the type of roofing. This is a trailer with a tin roof then another wood roof with a small peak for the snow to fall off than a flat roof. It works great for sending message through Favebook but to text someone on my contact list it won't send for 1/2 hour or if I go outside . Unable recieve calls from anyone on my contact list but telemarketers/scammers will get through and it's clear. If anyone on my conracts calls it will go through then after I answer it shuts off. Other than that I like it away from my home. Since it's linked to my Facebook I can be anywhere in my home and I can get messages from my friends and respond. Linked to my car so driving I can answer it just by pressing button on my steering collum.

So I am grateful that you give me this for free My only issue was it said unlimited talk and so I thought I had unlimited talk. And I found out that unlimited actually meant 10,000 minutes and I had used them and then didn't have a phone for like 4 days. And then I tried to buy $5 worth to get me through to the next month and it wouldn't go through so you gave me my money back which was very nice. But for some reason I could not add one minute so I needed to get a house phone so that I didn't go over my minutes Yes I have a gift of gab. But all in all it is a very good service thank you

Service is reliable and the program is both kind and practically beneficial. Advertising though can make you think you can or should purchase SIM cards or monthly data when you don’t actually have to and aren’t allowed to, so be careful before you spend anything. Prices for refurbished devices are excellent. I sure the program is saving lives.

My reloaded minutes are always right on time each month and if I have any issues with my phone service I can always get in touch with Qlink to get them solved in a timely manner. I treasure the ability to chose my own phone from the endless list of phones that are compatible with the service.

I have been using Q link for about 2 months now and I like it. The only complaint I have is that I keep getting emails from them to "claim my free tablet" but they aren't free. There is a $10 initial charge for it. But otherwise the set up of my account and activation of my phone is easy and fast. I got the SIM card because I already have a phone that's unlocked.

No complaints,, whenever I had an issue they were there until I was satisfied with the results. If it was after business hours, I'd simply described the issue and they're quick in responding with a suggestion to my email they would do a follow-up to make sure I had resolve my issue. I would've given them 5- stars but haven't received my tablet yet. Lol

But it was hard getting a network unlocked phone and now it took a dump on me I can't seem to get another with no income to low based . Hopeful soon I'll ha e a good phone and I'll be back

QLink Wireless has been really great. The only 2 issue that I see is that(1) the high speed data cap is much lower than other companies offering free service and so it makes using your phones data internet so slow that you can actually use it. And (2) QLink Wireless doesn't offer free phones to customers choosing to use their service. Other than these 2 issues the service is great every where I go and no phone call connections or texting issues at all. Although I do live in Baton Rouge, La which is a pretty big city.

You never gave me a phone and my phone is very old and now have trouble charging this phone of 8yrs old now and can not afford one! Your phone prices suck!!! Not affordable for us poor people!!! And you dont offer any hotspot use either which would help me out! Other companies have hotspot use but you giys dont. Between my broken phone and no help getting one a an affordable price for the poorest of our population. Otherwise your service has always been a good signal without much interruption or poor signal. Always has worked everytime I needed it.

I love that Q Link makes every aspect of using their services so easy for the elderly especially!! It's truly only a few steps from getting your new sim card as I did, ("Bring your Phone"), to the activation process. I'd have to say it took me 10 minutes to put my sim card into my own device to calling my family and friends!! Thank you for the service QLink!!

I dont have to much to complain about. I have some issues with service around certain areas where I feel i shouldnt be having issues (Near Great Lakes Mall in Mentor Ohio I for some reason go into Roaming for no reason bc im at 3 bars....) Sometimes some odd data speeds, but honestly over all the service is pretty good. I cant complain to much. I at least have a phone now and service now to access my doctors, family etc.

I think it works good but the only thing is I don't know if it's my phone or is accusing but everything else that works good I think what the problem I'm having from dropping everything is because I have too much games downloaded so other than that if it ain't that it's working excellent I mean I have no no complaints whatsoever and thank you very much I appreciate it

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get through to an actual human to discuss my account, twice in one day!!! Each time I was treated with care and respect and resolutions to my concerns were addressed almost immediately. The only negative aspect would be that I am not satisfied with the phone that I purchased. Other than that, I would recommend Q link Wireless service.

I like that this service is reliable as long as you have the right settings and that it is free like in Heaven for qualifying people. The one problem I ran into was that I needed an adjustable knife to open the standard ZTE phone to get the sim card in or out. The Hot Pepper Serrano 3 phone that is sold on the web site is easier to open. I use the Hot Pepper phone now.

Love the fact it’s free love it helps me so much cause I don’t have the funds to have a cell phone. I hate to complain but you did ask I just don’t have very good or no services at my house. I got to go outside walk around to fine a spot to use the cell phone to call anyone. It gets Frustrating at time especially if it’s important phone call but what can you do it’s free and it’s helping me

SIM card came quickly. Love the free plan and it works as good as my old plan. I did have a lot of trouble getting my phone number switched over (2 wks). I think it was bc qlink didn’t have the correct SIM card number (I did tell them I switched phones). When a rep at the number transfer place finally realized what the problem was and took the initiative to call qlink the problem was fixed very quickly and the number was transferred.

I ran out of data 2 days before my plan renewed for the next month and have unlimited data, minutes and text. How we run out of data on unlimited plan sure puzzles me but I had to pay $30.00 for more. Then on first of month, what I purchased was deleted and my plan renewed as it does monthly. I'm on disability so my funds are very very below poverty already, so really can't afford paying more for service that was wasted anyways.

Thankful the availability to have access to a service whereas of date have not dropped a call. There is on downfall, when the tablets that are sent out don't work, you are told that they are not replaceable. It took 7 months to receive it and 14 months to talk to someone about it. Which was to no avail. Have a tablet that is of no use is to have one not at all. Therefore, the phone service is good but there is still work to be done on the tablet issue.

Unlimited Data really means after 30gb your service drops to 2G or unable to use. Of course it was turned around on me because it was amongst my paperwork. So I look, yep they're right. Im trying to figure out why everything is written in normal size font, but this specific area involving data is so freaking small I literally had to get a magnifying glass. OOOHHH I get it. Nice, nice👌. .... Absolutely amazes me how intentional deceit is viewed with such normalcy. Other than that, no complaints. Good service, Competitive prices.

The phone that I received is not a good phone at all. Also I didn't know that Qlink operates on the 4g network, which is slow. I guess you have to spend a fortune to get a good phone, everybody is running the same game! I do like how Qlink operates. Everything is user friendly and easy to navigate. My only complaint is the cheap free phone. I love the tablet!!!
