It can be very deceiving and confusing to some. I received sim and then messages saying at 29 days to start service or lose it. Mind you just received yesterday right now getting messages to bring my number for free service. They gave me a new number already and service is free is it not. I thought it came with a phone. Really had I known it didn't I wouldn't of signed up .. having to buy a phone when I can't even afford a bill. Kinda makes very little sense. If going to give service and collect government money to pay for my phone service why not ad the phone for free. Now it's all working I got a phone from target not cheap and it's set up. Service seems good so far..

This company is a joke. I have called them for the last 2 days in a row and have stayed on hold for hours on end and still haven't got ant help. I guess the statement is true you get what you pay for. The free phone service isn't worth waiting on hold for hours.

SO far so good ....I was noty allowed to siwtch my number from my previous carrier, I was given yhe message thaat the njumber wasn't available, when it is available. The other service was discontinued, less than five days ago. I was able to get a SIM card and with no proiblem, I installed it and it is working......the only problem I have encountered with QLink is my being unabvle tio swithc my number...If thus probelm was eradicated could give five stars for this experience

I've had Q-Link for around 3 years. The only problem is I can't get connected to the internet with it. I live in a smallish town that sits in a pocket of the Colorado mountains. The other problem was my service was turned off a few weeks ago without any warning or explanation. It's taken me almost 3 weeks to find out that I needed recertification. That means, prove that I still qualify for the free service. I had to email a copy of SSDI statement showing that I receive Social Security Disability and it's below the qualifying limit of income. I didn't get any warning about needing to have recertification. I had to go through applying for the Q-Link service again. I didn't even get notified when it was turned back on. The whole thing could have been handled a lot better, without causing me all the stress of wondering why my service was turned off. I was worried that I was going to loose my number and have to get a new Sim card then let everyone know that I have a new phone number. What really agrivated me was NOT getting ANY WARNING. That it was a normal recertification that's done every 3 years.

Perhaps it was because I signed up during the Christmas time frame, but I've had difficulty in locating human customer support personnel. One likely result of this is that I'm uncertain as to whether my chosen phone number transferred to Q Link because I got confused by the menus and what they told me. Examples: email dated Sat, Dec 23, 9:49 AM (3 days ago) 'Phillip we're trying to resolve your request' contrasted with email dated Sun, Dec 24, 5:06 AM (2 days ago) '2149464872 Is In Progress to Transfer to Q Link Wireless'. So I await the transfer with anticipation and puzzlement, and want to make sure that I receive the other benefits advertised by Q Link.

For a free service, I really am happy. I got to bring an unlocked phone that I already owned. I think it is great how bring your own device is an option, because that saved me a lot of money. After being approved, I received the SIM card in 2 days, I was surprised because it arrived very quickly! Once I inserted the SIM into my phone, within about 5-10 seconds I had service and was able to make calls/ use my phone normally. The overall process from the beginning ( application) to the end (inserting SIM and getting service going) was extremely quick and easy! I live in a really rural area, and I have tried a couple other free services before using Q Link and I'd say Q Link is hands down the best one (service wise) that I have tried. As I said, I live in a rural area, which means there are some spots where the service gets a little choppy. However, I feel like the previous services I tried were worse. I recommend family and friends to Q Link! I am SO happy I made the switch myself. If anyone is thinking about making the switch to Q Link, I'd say do it, you will not be sorry!! The ONLY downside I have found is Q Link does not offer "Hot Spot" which was kind of a bummer at first, because I had to get use to not being able to use my phone as a portable hot spot device. But once I got use to it, I have absolutely no complaints at all.

The service is outstanding. This is the first service that I have found that I can pick up in my house. No matter where I'm at I get outstanding service. I just want to thank you for the awesome service and products. I want to upgrade to a new phone because some of the apps say that it's not compatible with my phone I have the pepper phone I want to upgrade to the to the updated Androids that allows me to get different apps that are compatible with my phone. Thank you again for your awesome service. When I got on your service I went through your store and that's where I got my phone I paid $35 for it. What do you recommend would be the next upgrade I know the price will be a little more.

I truly appreciate Qlink for accepting me. I am disabled and can't afford a phone bill. That doesn't mean I have to accept being treated rudely and inconsiderately. After being with another provider for a good while, I began to be treated that way. All along being told I was a valued customer. Qlink accepted my application and I haven't had any problems to speak of. I have elderly parents that aren't in the best of health and need a reliable phone and service. Qlink has provided that, unlike the other company. The only issue may be that customer service never got back to me in response to a message I sent. Otherwise they've been helpful.Thank you Qlink

Its hard to complain when you provide free service and phones, but the Serano phone I chose is lacking in sound and picture quality. The phone seems to shutdown numerous times in the day and freezes up in which I have to take the battery to restart it. I paid for phone and received the Q Link tablet which is awesome! No issues with it and I'm glad I got it. I know I got the base model Serano Pepper phone, but I hope I can contact Q Link for a phone upgrade . Outside of the phone, your coverage is excellent and the tablet is very nice. I am very thankful for your service because I live on a fixed disability income. Thanks, Andrew Wallace

Love it, switched to QLink from Verizon wireless that I was paying $60 per month for and didn’t know I qualified for this as I work but I applied for food stamps and I got approved— they raised the limits so try again if you got denied before. I qualified for $75 per month as I work but heck it will help. That alone qualified me so even if you work full time you may qualify for a free cell phone. I am so glad I did as I am saving $60 per month. They use T-Mobile network and I have not had any issues at all. I use my phone a lot and I am loving being able to keep my data on I used to keep my data off and connect to WiFi all now u still connect when I can but don’t have to worry about having data in my car anymore.

My experience with Q-link wierless has been pretty good! I had my doubts at first based off some of the reviews I had read. 😬 But I decided to give them a shot anyway, and boy am I happy I did! *Ok rewind a little* So before Q-link I had verizon wierless, they are just to darn exspinsive, I mean who wants to pay that kind of money? Not me! I mean at one point they had me paying like $20 bucks for adding 3 extra gigs of data when I run out! That's ridiculous! Especially, when companies like Q-link are offering the same thing, but for cheaper? And well, being a single mom I have to save and cut cost when possible and Qlink has allowed me to do just that! I'm saving a TON in my phone bill department now!I honestly can not even tell that I switched, the cell coverage is just as good (if not better), but don't take my word for it, head over to their site and check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed! Just be sure to check out the coverage in your area first!

In the beginning of my service with Qlink was not much of satisfaction but I believe it was from my part of fault due to receiving personal negative news which had nothing to do with Qlinks representing its service so overall I could say that they are very great from their signals, their call rating which I never had any issue with, their staff are good. And also their devices sold are at a great price. I recommend Qlink to any in search of a phone plan that is beneficial to them . And I can most guarantee that as a customer they will be appreciated with their service. Plus the phone that is at their possession can be used , and the phone number can still have or change, and the best of all their is no phone bill for an entire year. Q-link has had pretty much the same coverage as the other National brands I have used. I was a long time customer for nearly 20 years to a major cell phone provider. Never late. Paid every month, until COVID. I called to speak with them. Explained I had lost my job, I just needed a little more time. Nothing. They “couldn’t” work with me at all the rep said. I was flabbergasted. The next few months as I struggled I started using the monthly plan phones lines. From one month to the next I had to change my number countless times because a friend here or there had a phone I could borrow a couple of weeks at a time. I struggled finding a job because the number I put on one resume wasn’t guaranteed to be my number the following week. Abs then I found Q-link. There to help me through this time of struggle I had found myself in and not only that but there with really good coverage as well. The only thing I can complain alot is obviously I’m not working so like a phone I struggled paying internet was an issue to, so I needed more internet work out being throttled. However, I still got internet so other than by mid month I was getting throttled, I still had internet and am grateful. So when that is still a huge blessing and not a negative, just felt like I should keep it real I guess.

I agree with the concept of having this type of service for those of us that cannot afford to communicate unless we have this service. In my case, I know you want me to make more calls, but I CANNOT MAKE CALLS as I don't have a voice to talk with due to throat cancer. I text every day, but it never shows up on my statement. I have tried calling your company a couple of times, but I always get a foreign sounding person that has no idea what I am talking about--this is when I was trying to activate a new phone or something. I do have a machine I use to talk with, but it is very unreliable, so I don't use it on the phone unless necessary. Overall I'd say you are a good company though.

I'm very pleased with the service, except you say I get free data but some months when I need to use a lot of data it runs out then I don't have any more for the month to look for a job !! It's suppose to be free for the ninth right ? Besides that Ive been with QLinks for several years and service can't be beat customer service is bit that great. No I e speaks English, they hang yo in you if they do t understand what your problem is but usually because they do not understand English Language well enough to understand that what you are explaining to them, so they hang up on you and it's difficult to get someone on the phone. you have to go thru a bunch of prints to get to customer service and it's aggravating , they also have attitude problems most of them but you do get a nice one sometimes if it's your lucky day. I love the actual service on the phone. Also if they mail you something g you get it fast I hope this j Helps

I have been with Q Link about 3 years as I am in a nursing home and living in nursing home makes you poor. I can't believe all these negative reviews. This service has been a gift from God to me. Without this program I wouldn't have a phone. So I have been saving for a new phone so when I got this new sim I went ahead and got it. When I looked at how to activate it I did not understand the reset part so I called in and had a tech on the line in 5 minutes. He was so nice and helpful and he asked me some questions about my phone and then he had me call a number that is on the card under the word activation. I called it was automated and it asked me a couple questions and then it activated it for me. Much easier then going into your phone and resetting the carrier. So I love the service of Q Link and I am having fun playing with my new phone. I will check back here and if anyone wants to ask me any questions about how I set up my phone leave me a message. My name is John and I want to thank Q Link for helping me, living in a nursing home, to be able to have a cell phone.

I loved the customer service. I really am not liking the phone I purchased and wish I could've kept my flip 3. Art finally gave my daughter a 16 number code only the provider that has my number can unlock according to them. Att. I really wanted that number on that phone but I don't know where to start . It would be great if your company could help. Your cute service rep that helped me was lovely and patient. Also I still qualify for a tablet and have proof via govt email. Hey a different co called excess sent me a tablet free? I'm sending it back. Other than these things I'm satisfied for now. Fix my flip with same number and I'd be ecstatic. Thank yiu, Cynthia Mello

It is amazing to have phone service not just for a low cost but literally for FREE! This saves me $100+ a month vs. choosing a major phone carrier. It was easy to sign up, get approved, and enrolled. Before I knew it my SIM card kit arrived in the mail, I put the SIM card in my phone and I immediately had service. I’ve travel a decent amount in my state and I have had no issue with not having any service. Sometimes the internet service can get a little slow which is why I left 4 stars instead of 5, but regardless, switching to Q Link Wireless was one of the best decisions I’ve made and I recommend it to everyone out there and I’m so thankful for this!!

Appreciate the on time and complete benefit added each month. I have lifeline thru qlink. BUT when I first started the program I had lifeline and the ACP benefits both with qlink. They had promised a tablet with the ACP benefit but when I asked they co.said I had to wait because they were waiting on the tablets and when received it would then be sent to me. Well after a yr of waiting and no tablet. I decided to transfer ACP benefit to another carrier (which by the way , are never on time and repeatedly do not fufill complete benefit). So...I have have never received a tablet from anyone and thought qlink should have fufilled their promise as they received both ny lifeline and ACP benefit for almost a year or more.

It, Q-Link still has a few hiccups to hammer out .I mean Q-Link is a cool thing so far , sorta. What kept me from posting a 5 Star rating at this time is just that there's alot, A LOT of weird things . I'm not the techno Champ however; some apps and emails are doing there own thing and acting outta pocket. Putting words in without me finishing typing. My phone is definately not a team player lol. I probably need to get a new phone but I thought the powers that be might want to know My phone is acting up. Thanks ,Kelli Reed

The free service is awesome since I'm supporting a family of four on only $550/mo. from a minuscule pension I earned years ago. But there are a few issues I'd like to see resolved. I go thru the ritual of all the cleaning/scanning options at least once a day, but the security icon that shows up first, almost never will come up. Sometimes when I go to Cleaner, and then go thru all of those steps, then I can tap Security again, and it may work. And, after I go thru all of these, many of them come up again which seems redundant to me. My phone tells me often that I've NEVER used the anti-virus feature, or haven't used it for many days, which is anything but true. On the video calls I do, the camera almost always switches back to "out" from "selfie'" by itself, and I have to change it back. Also, voicemail comes up automatically sometimes - half the time I have to call the VM# which is inconvenient. Also, I wish my phone would give me the ph.# the voicemails are coming from, so I can reply if the person doesn't leave me their ph.#. I also wish I could automatically block solicitation call numbers when they leave voicemail. All I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's more issues. Thanx for your concern, and I'll greatly appreciate any or all of these issues being resolved. Have a nice day! Regards, David Garrett

I love my q link service without it I wouldn't be able to get service because I'm unable to pay for a monthly bill because of loosing my job last year. I've had Qlink now for several months the only downside I've had was unable to get online for 7-10days n Jan %2-3days one time last year but in Jan I found out that I had used up all my data for that month. I didn't know that it was a limit but representative was very nice. But I love Q link and I recommend it to everyone, I do myself very often & actually I did yesterday.

I like everything about Qlink. I've had it for years & it always works. Customer service agents are helpful & polite. Much better than other companies that cost a lot more money & their agents act like they are doing you a favor anytime you ask a question or try to make a purchase. At&t stores are the worst. Over charged, treated poorly unless they're still acting like you aren't there.

It's a blessing in a time when the cost of living is so inflated that it's practically impossible to have a quality lifestyle. I love the service and the free minutes but what is killing me is you have to buy a phone through them that works but you pay 35 dollars for the cheapest phone and it's a phone from like 5 years ago so it runs slow as hell and freezes up oh yes I would love to have the Google 6 but if you truly only get food stamps and not skimming the system you can't afford a phone for even 259 dollars I am too broke and poor to afford anything like that the most expensive phone I have ever bought was 50 dollars that about max I can spend for a phone so for us poor and broke people why can't we catch a break and get a decent phone for a decent price for one because I know me and several people out there feel like that wish we could get a new Samsung or apple iphone but we can't afford it on what is we get paid just bills but that's my complaint even SafeLink and most of the other free government phone companies at least give you the first phone for free

It's a good service, and it's a decent company, but being completely honest with your customers would be very appreciated. Because even though you claim to have unlimited data, this is not a fact. Your unlimited everything plan does provide unlimited calls, and texts, but your data cuts off completely after 30 g of data every month. That's a fact, so unlimited data is actually false advertising on your part. I would've given you 5 stars if you were honest about the 30 g of data a month. So overall, I've had a good experience with your company, so I gave you 4 stars, because of the dishonesty about the data being unlimited. I'm sure this comment won't be shown anywhere since I've exposed the truth about the 30 g of monthly data, but that's okay, I just had to voice the truth

If it wasn't for this government assistance program I wouldn't have known what else to do after not only losing a loved one but a job you worked for nearly five years to come to an end, based on closure. Then a friend introduced me to this Government Subsidy called Qlink. Qlink have been the savior that I was looking for, and guess what? It connected me to a whole new level of freedom. With Qlink I found another Job and a great service of this Government Assistance program for free. Yes, you heard me right. Free!!! I recommend this to anyone who needs it to stay connected rather w/your loved or just surfing the internet with your new Government phone 📱 with Qlink...Trust me you won't regret it & plus, you don't have to pay anything other than you just utilize it for once a month call or texting in order to maintain your services. So go ahead and try it. You have nothing to lose but you definitely gain a good service w/Qlink...Thank you Qlink for your Service.

I have had my QLink Wireless Lifeline phone since 2018. For the most part service has always been sufficient and at no charge to me. I am still able to have this Lifeline phone service through QLink Wireless as I am in a very low fixed income since having to retire early in order to obtain my SSA retirement income which is below the poverty level pretty much and I am 62 years of age which also qualifies me for EBT SNAP Food Stamp program. This is another government state program that provides me with extra income by allowing me to be eligible for food stamps for consumable food items only. There was an issue when I needed a replacement phone and there was a chip shortage in Chine which delayed me getting a replacement phone which I had to purchase. I have also experienced homelessness since 2018 and during COVID-19. I was living in my car for quite sometime until it was repossessed on February 13, 2020. The mobile phone provides me with urgently needed access to calling 911 in case I have to contact them for a dire emergency. There have been times when I was without a cell phone at all as I was waiting for funds or to purchase a replacement phone as needed to survive in this jungle of survival of the fittest. I am still homeless and without anytype of housing. Even the Houston Coalition for the Homeless denied me a place to live because in the end they said I needed to have a steady income to be considered for the program. Yet others were approved for the same housing for free for extended periods of time and had no income at all. I am also disabled and currently going through that long process of being approved for disability SSA benefits in addition to early retirement income that I qualified for when I turned 62 on February 24, 2022. It took another 90 plus days to be approved and got three months of retirement income in June, since they also make you wait 30 days in the beginning after my online application was completed and received and pending review after that. I do not pay for my service, I get free talk, text and data. I only have to pay for replacement phones since the original phone stopped working do to moisture getting into the and the battery would no longer work.

Q Link Wireless is the best, honestly. My father in law was going on and on about his new phone company and he won't have to pay a dime so it got me interested, got approved instantly and I've now had that line with Q Link since early 2021, the ONLY thing I could complain about, and still annoyed with, is that if I qualify for the sim card with free data then I also qualified for the pad, and if I remember correctly; I had filled out another form for it and submitted it back and have never received. Would have been better to not offer the pad, if I wasn't going to actually receive one... Other than that, I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!

I am overall very satisfied with being a customer at Q Link Wireless. I only had 2 or 3 times that I had to call customer service for an issue I had and only once spent a long time on hold waiting for a representative but was taken care of professionally Now I have always had an issue with the phone that was given to me because its slow , can not do updates , can only download 1 game from google play and half the time when I try to play the game it closes out on me so I'm constantly restarting the phone and try to only just use to make a call or text., can not hear the ring tone or when I can it is a quick few beeps\rings and not enough to realize the phone went off. Now the phone is broken and do not have money for a replacement phone hence the reason why I got the phone in the first place. i have a phone that is compatible but trac phone ( which is a provider for the government-free phone ) won't unlock the network so I can use it so I'm stuck with no phone. The only thing I can do now is to terminate from Q Link Wireless find another place that offers the free phone deal and sign up with them , perhaps Safe Link Wireless I think they are one?

I've just had the service for almost a month. I have 1 complaint my service where I live and around me isnt really good. It takes a very long time to pull up anything using data . I'm not sure why. Getting signed up and talking thru with customer service really went to great lengths on helping me. Customer service is great thru Qlink. They do as they say they are there to help.

It was a great service I had it for a long time for some reason all of a sudden it stopped and there's a glitch in the program and try to get back through couldn't get through on the website finally something happened where I did get through on the website it's difficult once you're on it and then you get turned off I had to buy a new phone because they sent me a chip but it was for 5G phone and the phone that I have from them was not compatible said to buy a new phone once I got the new phone though everything worked fine and everything's been swell and a new phone was reasonably priced you know you had your choice of how much you wanted to pay so I got a smartphone mid-range. I think it's as well option it helped when I really needed it

I am a 37 year old woman who has worked since I was 15 & am a hard worker but recently became unable to work do to a couple disabilities so being unemployed made it extremely hard to keep a phone or really have one at all & thank goodness for company's like Q-link who make it possible for citizens like me to have a trusted lifeline!! Thank you for everyone at Q-link who makes this possible for us & I don't know what I would do without this program & I am truly great full for everything including data being unlimited!!! I use my phone alot & don't really have access to WiFi so it meant alot to me when they changed it to unlimited data!!! Only thing I don't like is that finding an affordable unlocked phone was kinda a hassle for me & I wish it were a little easier to qualify for it cause it was a lot of requirements & hoops to jump through like having to be on some sort of state assistance etc to be eligible wich was harder for me than I thought but still appreciate it & I will be sad when the unlimited data is over but otherwise Keep up the great work Q-link & Thank You So Much for making it possible to have a free service! -Maddy M.

been ok for phone calls and sms. im thankful for it. good service and low prices. Too bad they dont have flip phones. my husband who has since passed on, had learning difficulties and disabities, it was really hard for him to to use this android phone. I wish the phone and the tablet had 4G capabilities. These phones and tablets are too slow for most of the apps I run. Improvement of this service and devices would be most helpful to a lot of people. I am disabled and elderly and would like to catch a break!!!

Obviously free unlimited for a phone service now a days is unheard of, but not for QLink Wireless. They are helping me so much, and I'm sure alot of you out there are thinking how can this be free? Free local and long distance calls, free internet bluetooth, and it is all unlimited and free! Covid-19 Cost alot of people their homes, their jobs, their sense of normal. QLink is making everything a little better. If you are like me, most of my life is on my phone! Either googling something, checking social media, job hunting. We use our phones for everything. Please take the time and consider it. You will be happy you did!

I want to rate all 5 because the service is as good as any other service that I've had to pay for. I have never had any issues. But I signed up for the program that promises a free tablet months and months and months ago, but have never received the tablet or heard anything more about it. And it is literally impossible to ever talk to a customer service person. They just never respond to any emails or messages at all. So that's incredibly frustrating and I don't know what I'd do if I ever needed to reach them for something else if I can't reach them for that. I would love to just know if the tablet is really ever coming or not!!

What I like best about q Link is obviously the fact that it is free unlimited talk text and data! There are a few things that can use improvements such as the service works great in my area of Southern New Hampshire. But once I'm anywhere north of Concord, New Hampshire, the service is so spotty I can hardly make a call and can't use any apps or anything that needs the internet. That's probably because this is a T-Mobile carrier and they don't have many towers in the Central and northern part of the state. Most people have to use Verizon towers up there so I don't know if there's a way that you guys could talk to Verizon and see if they'll let you bounce off their towers with their service or whatever but just a thought. That's my only real concern with this service though. The only other thing I can think of that would make this service more enjoyable would be the ability to have a hotspot, even if it meant paying for it but when I spoke to someone on the phone about it they said that this plan does not offer any mobile hotspot.
