I went with them because I thought that communicating with the IRS was impossible. Every time I got involved with the IRS I got sick to my stomach and had a hard time dealing with the subject. I needed someone to do it for me. They didn't really help much either though. In the state of Illinois, they got to it too slowly and by the time they started their discussion they turned over my account to a collections agency. They didn't save me any money, instead it costed me because they were too slow.

We saw an advertisement on TV for them and decided to go with it. At first I had to talk to 4 or 5 different people until they finally assigned someone to my case. That person was excellent though. I think they did the best they could do but they weren't really able to cut our taxes. We still had to pay the full amount in the end. They were alright though.

I did some research online at all the companies that handled tax difficulties. They seemed to have the best things in writing and it seemed secure. Initially, the customer support was great, but when I actually started dealing with my case things were different. I had a little difficulty sorting everything they had to tell me about my case. Still, they were very aggressive with the IRS since they were starting the process of seizing my assents. Tax Defense got to it and fixed that issue it in less than 24 hours. I feel positive about it. There were a couple of things that got me concerned, especially having to do with some of the penalties I got over not paying taxes. The person handling my case was not very clear about that. My only suggestion is that when assigning cases to their people they should think about the generational gap between their providers and the person they aid. 20-30 year old people are a bit more in a hurry and their explanations are not quite as clear sometimes. When they're dealing with someone my age, I don't think they necessarily have the patience to explain everything clearly, though that's a mild suggestion.

They were ranked number 1 with the Better Business Bureau. I didn't want to fool around with this kind of thing, but they seemed to have their stuff together and know what to do. There were a couple of little hiccups here and there. We had problems with communication going back and forth. I would miss phone calls and opportunities because of that. It wasn't too bad though, plus some of it was my own fault. Overall it was great and I'm satisfied. Everything turned out ok and it should all be done and taken care of by the end of next year. They were pretty thorough. When it was all said and done, it was just a good experience. If I had to do it again, I would.

There was a different tax group that just wasn't that good for me, so I went with Tax Defense. They did the negotiating for me and it turned out really well. It was all as advertised unlike other similar companies that are all promises. They are very attentive and put you in touch with lawyers and everything. They handled everything professionally and the payment plan they got me was good. I felt at ease since they handled most things. It was good to get a tax agreement. I don't think I would've been able to handle it on my own.

I got it since I needed assistance with my tax case. I was looking to get a tax settlement or get a payment agreement with the IRS. They were able to help me in a way that maybe I wouldn't be able to do. Maybe I could've accomplished it myself, maybe not, but they got quicker results and seem to know how to navigate the IRS. They are good in customer service too. They were responsive for the most part and were able to accomplish most of what I needed to get accomplished. They either did it all or got close to getting everything. They're a little bit pricey for the services, but I got some favorable results. Overall it was a good experience.

After months of trying to get a hold of the IRS in different ways without getting an answer, I decided to call Tax Defense Network. They immediately started moving along and gave me all the support I needed. It was impossible to get the IRS to tell me what issue I had. I even took a day off of work to get everything sorted out, but I just stayed on the line for hours and hours and kept getting switched around. On the other hand, Tax Defense Network made everything easy; as simple as 1,2,3,4. They figured out what the issue was, and followed up on everything. I didn't know they had a team working on my case, so I kept trying to get a hold of the same person each time without luck. They offered a good service though, after I found out.

I was given misleading information when I originally spoke with the Sales rep that convinced me to sign up. Once I became a client; the agents that assisted me were very casual with following up with me. Thank n several occasions, I had to reach out to them for updates instead of them keeping me informed. i hired Tax Defense to handle two issues. I had student loans that were in default. And I had federal tax debt. They handled the tax Debt first. I begged them to handle the student loans first. I wanted to buy a house. I knew the taxes would be fairly simple because of the Cares Act. But they felt that because my student loans were not being garnished anymore that they weren't really a priority. So they did those last. And when they did do my student loans, they didn't really do anything for me they just made a referral to William F. It looked like they were doing something, because I filled out all the paperwork for an income-driven program in a consolidation program Etc. However because my loans were in default they needed to be rehabilitated first. Getting my student loans together on my own was a nightmare. They charged me between 5 and $700 for the resolution of those and they did nothing for me on my student loans.the taxes were awesome.

I came to them with inaccurate facts, they sorted me out and they knew what to do And got the job done within the deadlines and efficiently. Communication got sloppy towards the end but it was a successful project at a very low price.

I wasn't sure how to handle some things with my taxes. I have several penalty abatements and amended returns that they are still working on. Every time I had a query, they always got back to me to discuss my status with the IRS. They'v been very profession. Even though they were easy to contact at a break, nothing happened for about six weeks. We had to constantly follow up with the status. They would request docusment that we already sent and getting to the resolution, originally they said three to six months and it took about ten. I think we've got the resolution that we needed but it just took too long. They had to switch from one person that left the company and no one that replaced them was able to see any of the documents that we previously sent. It was just totally breaking down when they had to put somebody else on the account and it was like we started all over again.
