Optima was one of several firms I contacted to address what, for me, was a substantial and insurmountable tax debt with the IRS. I didn't have to think too hard in choosing which company to hire as Optima's representatives were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and forthcoming about a streamlined process they utilize to guide their clients through the debt resolution process. I always felt I was in good hands and able to speak with a representative any time I had a question and, ultimately, my debt was settled for less than 3 percent of what I owed. Optima's fees were also considerably lower than their major competitors. I hope I never need the services of a tax lawyer again but if I do, I will contact Optima.

The fine people at Optima Tax Relief helped alleviate my fear of the IRS and threatening letters I had been receiving. Each one was more threatening than the previous one, and I realized that I needed help. I recalled hearing Optima Tax Relief advertised on TV and radio by Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and the late Alan Thicke, so I called them.
From the beginning consultation with Gabriel, I knew that I had made the right choice in contacting this fine organization of tax professionals. I moved from the initial consultation to working closely with Nereida and Brandon, who never tired of my questions and concerns. Taina has graciously followed up since we reached a resolution and has kept in touch.
It is important to know that dealing with the IRS takes time and patience. Optima took time to work out a resolution to the satisfaction of all parties. They encouraged me at every step in the process, assuring me that even though the process is time-consuming, we would reach a satisfactory arrangement. Completely professional and efficient service!
Optima Tax Relief did an amazing job taking care of my Tax crisis. I had been going back and forth with the IRS for years and right from the start the professionals at Optima Tax Relief assessed my situation and put me completely at ease. They explained the entire process in detail so I could easily understand what all stages would look like. Everyone that handled my case was always accessible for any questions I had via phone or email. They also designated a point person to have a periodic "touch base" with me so I would be kept in the loop at all stages. They were extremely efficient and transparent explaining possible outcomes. Because we started the process late in the year...........it took a bit longer then expected(the government offices shut we down during the holidays). The final outcome was OPTIMA TAX RELIEF saved me tens of THOUSANDS of dollars and continued back and forth with the IRS. I had an such an awesome experience with Optima Tax Relief that I would like to share with everyone. I had a 22,000.00 IRS debt and was looking at a wage garnishment as well as a hold on my bank accounts. I called Optima and the minute someone answered the phone they made me feel that everything was going to be OK. They sent me the paperwork i needed and we began our process together to reduce my 22,000.00 debt to the IRS to 100.00. There never was any stress and the whole process took less than one year. I was initially skeptical, and dodged Optima Tax Relief. I asked questions over and over, and was leery about giving them my credit card information over the phone. After, Optima Tax Relief asked me to come visit their office and meet with them, I then felt at ease.
I signed up with Optima Tax Relief over the phoneand I did not regret it. They informed clearly of the possible outcome for a delinquent $10,000 amount I owed to IRS.
In about 5-6 months time, Optima Tax Relief, through Power Of Attorney gathered all required tax papers from me, communicated with the IRS on my behalf, brought all my tax paperwork up to date, and at the end, they constructed a Settlement with the IRS for $50.00 because of my hardship.
I highly recommend Optima Tax Relief to anyone who is in the same position that I found myself in.......YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Dealing with the IRS can be very stressful but team at Optima Tax Relief really allow me to have a peace of mind. I am recovering from a heart attack and under doctor's care right now. I can only praise Optima Tax Relief LLC for the help they gave me to resolve an issue of back taxes owed to the IRS!
The process that I went through was extremely fair in many ways! The time that it took to reach an offer in compromise (Fresh Start) was fair! The actual offer in compromise was more than fair! The fee that I was required to pay Optima Tax was more than fair! I went from owing the IRS $13,000+ to reaching an IRS accepted offer of $100!
The company should be very proud of each and every employee that they have working for them! Each person that I came in contact with, through the different departments, was very helpful in getting through each phase of the process! Each person was very personable and made you feel that you were not alone in getting the help you needed!
I would not hesitate to recommend Optima Tax LLC to anyone that may be seeking a resolution of IRS tax debt! If you need this kind of help, don't hesitate to call them right away! You won't be sorry!

Working with Optima Tax Relief was a great experience from the very first call until my issue was resolved. I have had annoying tax debt that I could not get paid and was accumulating penalties which made the debt grow. After talking with Optima Tax Relief my debt was cleared and a settlement was made which I know wouldn't have been possible without Optima Tax. Relief. .I recommend everyone that is dealing with a IRS issue to contact them to help, they set your expectations as far as how long it would take and it takes away the stresses you have because it is being taken care of.. I was at a crossroads as to trying to figure out how to resolve an IRS tax debt. I just by chance happen to be driving in my car and heard an advertisement on the radio for tax relief service through Optima Tax Relief. I took the chance and made the call. Let's face it, I had nothing to lose, and everything to gain. I spoke with a representative, who took the time to explain the professional services offered by Optima Tax Relief.
This person was very easy to talk to, very professional, and just an all-around nice person. But that could just have been a way to convince me to agree to take on their services. But in actuality, this person sincerely cared about my situation, and was wanting to help. So I followed to steps to get started, and the rest is history.
After about 9 months of negotiations by the tax attorneys with Optima Tax Relief and the IRS, my situation drastically changed. I settled my tax debt over a year ago, and I am Federal Tax Debt free! I am so very grateful to the level of professionalism of all of the Optima Tax Relief team. I hope to one day have the convenient opportunity to stop the offices of Optima Tax Relief, to personally thank them for how they have help me.
If anyone has heard their advertisements, and have wondered about their services, or has hesitated in calling, make the call. I am a true witness to what this firm can sincerely do in helping people to resolve IRS tax debts.

First, I would like to thank everyone at Optima Tax Relief. I owed about $17,000 to the IRS and they began to garnish my wages. I really didn't know what to do. As I drove to work, I thought about my dilemma and who I could talk to about my situation. That's when it happened. A commercial on the radio began to play and it seemed like a godsend. Shocked, I immediately pulled off the freeway so I can write down this phone number before the commercial was over. I quickly called and from the very beginning Optima Tax Relief associates were very courteous and professional. Throughout the entire procedure, I never felt uninformed. They called me when needed, emailed me and had a convenient way for me to keep track of everything online. To put it plainly, I was simply amazed at the speed and professionalism that they showed. Within a few days, they had convinced the IRS to remove the levy from my pay and I felt like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. They then set up a payment plan that was within my means to afford. Over all, I am truly grateful for all the effort they put into my case and here, I can give you ten stars.

After four years of personal, unsuccessful, and frustrating negotiations with the IRS, I turned to Optima Tax Relief for my representation. As one of the many individuals with IRS problems, I had heard Optima Tax Relief commercial advertisements and was skeptical. Thankfully, selecting Optima Tax Relief resulted as one of the best decisions of my adult life.
After four years of my unsuccessful IRS discussions, Optima resolved my IRS issue in less than one year. My problem with the IRS has been resolved with an Offer in Comprise at a savings to me of $23,495.
While one year may sound like a long time, it's significantly shorter than the four previous years I had hopelessly spent dealing with the IRS. And, I did not have any inter action with the IRS – Optima Tax Relief did it all. They kept me up to date with the negotiations from beginning to the final resolution.
If you have an IRS problem that you cannot resolve, I would emphatically refer Optima Tax Relief as your representative. They do what they say they will do. They did for me- I no longer have an IRS problem!

Optima Tax Relief literally provided a much needed life line for me. I was receiving multiple letters from the IRS saying I owed thousands of dollars; I called the folks at Optima Tax and they were very understanding as they have helped thousands of people, meaning my case was handled by very competent, experienced and friendly staff; from the initial administrative details to me being assigned my own personal case worker, I knew I had made the right decision. With minimum fees (compared to the enormous bill I had received from the IRS) and a clear upfront explanation as to what would be done, I was amazingly comfortable every step of the way. I had some past Federal tax situations that I needed help with. I had heard about Optima Tax Relief on the Mark Levin radio broadcast. I gave them a call and was immediately talking with a gentleman that was very business like, but also I felt that he cared about making sure I felt at ease, and that I was in good hands. He asked me a series of questions for a basic check to make sure they could help me. After it was determined Optima could help with my situations the process started.
During the time it took to go through the many steps to insure that every “T” was crossed and “i” dotted I talked with several different people at Optima that handled different parts of my situations. Dealing with the IRS on behalf of anyone like myself that needs help can not be easy, but these people did an outstanding, professional job. Every time a question came to my mind or I wanted to check on the status of one of the steps the process was going through the people at Optima were very quick to return my phone call, or email, but the majority of the time I was immediately put in touch with my case worker. At times when my case worker wasn't available at the time the person I was talking with was extremely helpful and took care of my inquiries, if they could, or insure my case worker would get back to me by the next day, which they always did.
Everyone I talked with at Optima was always very pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and put me at ease during that very trying time. During the whole process it took for Optima to work with me, and the IRS to bring to a finalized solution, I really felt that they totally cared about getting the best outcome for me, and that they were diligently working towards that end. When I got the word from my case worker on what the IRS agreed to I was overjoyed, and I felt that a huge burden was lifted from off my shoulders thanks to these hard working people. Optima did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is dealing with IRS problems.

Optima Tax Relief saved my financial life in a really big way! After accruing over $30000 in tax liability from several years of being self employed / 1099, and not being able to keep up with the increase in my annual returns from the added self employment tax, I had no idea how to dig myself out of the hole. I started receiving collection letters from the IRS, and had a tax lien filed against me. I finally decided to call Optima Tax Relief after hearing commercials about them on the radio. They handled my case expertly, pulling my records from the IRS, invoking power of attorney to protect me, and working with the IRS to create a settlement that worked for me. When all was said and done, I ended up with a total settlement of approximately 10% of my total liability, which included my payment to Optima for their services. I absolutely couldn't be happier, and feel like an immense weight has been lifted from my shoulders!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with tax issues.

It is a horrific burden when you, for whatever reason or reasons, have not paid back taxes. Letters from the IRS can be scary, and you even think of the possibility of losing so much if those taxes are not paid. I called several agencies I thought could help me with a plan to pay my back taxes, but either they did not call back or wanted a huge sum of money. I must say that after I contacted Optima Tax Relief, the burden was lifted. I was impressed with their professionalism and the structure they have in place for solving my tax problem. Burden lifted and a payment plan is now in place. Highly recommended for their attention to detail and overall professionalism.

I was riding home and I heard an announcement on the radio regarding a company that could help me out with my debt. I'm very grateful it was suggested I use Optima Tax Relief for my tax concerns. From the start they were very professional, and always will to help as well as being available when needed, and quite courteous. As I'm sure most people are I was very concerned about my situation, but they alleviated my fears and were very supportive. I worked with a number of different Optima associates during the process and they all were great, and always able to give me the answers needed as well as alleviating all of my concern.
When the final outcome came to pass I was overjoyed as the compromise they came to with the IRS was unbelievably great. A tremendous weight was taken off of my shoulders and on cloud 9 from the outcome.
I would suggest Optima Tax Relief to anybody needed this service, and know a few other people who've had the same great experience as I have. I owe them a large debt of gratitude, and will forever be grateful they were suggested to me, and that my years of concern are finally over.

I believe I contacted them in September or October of last year. Becky was my case manager but I did have contact with a few other representatives. I really thought I would end up owing the IRS a lot of money because of me not filing my taxes. Also I thought it was going to take a really long time. In my first couple of phone calls with Optima they explained the entire process and how long it should take. I couldn't believe it would take roughly 3 to 4 months. My phone calls were always returned promptly along with my emails. After all my past tax returns were filed I received TWO refunds. One for prior years and the one for the current year. I will NEVER allow myself to be in such a situation. I would recommend this Optima to anyone in a similar position.

I’m writing this second Reviews because I’m so disappointed & upset of this Optima Tax Relief company., I’ve paid all my fee for their Service ( total is $1,500) .. my first review was wrote all my problem about this Company. They still not solve anything about my problem. At first I’ve been told that my Tax is solved., you’re is clear & clean. The IRS will get your tax return back., I don’t owe anything from IRS. Now the State tax sends to me the letter that said I’m owed them some money that I have to pay… and now the Optima Tax Relief turn to me and say “ nothing We can do” you have to go to different company they will take care for you!!! All these times I’ve been waited for 7 month’s for them to solved my problem but they just give up on me. After I’ve send to them a letter from IRS. . One of the Lady name Leah K call me and offer $200 for Courtesy refund for the the troubles & all the times I’m been waited.. which is they don’t want to help me anymore.!! I told that lady I don’t want the money.. I just want the Company solves my problem just like the first Gentleman told me that they will solve it & told me don’t worry you’re in the good hands, your case is very small case & we will take care for you!!
How do you think that you are been waited for long 7 months with the small case like this & they been Treated you like this. You’re loose thousands of dollars & end up nothing.!!!!:((

Resolution process is still ongoing and original Trax reason I approached Optima was because of a prior tax issue about gambling winnings. Nothing was done was the reason why that the IRS had already set the resolution. I was wondering about a refile if anything.

I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED. I STARTED WITH IRS AUDIT LAST 12/2021. IRS PENALIZED ME WITH $30K PLUS FOR MY 2017, 2018, 2019 TAXES. SO I SEEK OTR FOR HELP AND THEY PROMISED TO HELP ME LOWER MY LIABILITIES. I SIGNED THE CONTRACT PAYING THE OTR $5K PLUS ALMOST $500 INITIAL FEES. ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO, I ALSO HAD MY 2020 TAXES DONE BY MY TAS PREPARER LOCALLY AND I WAST ASSESSED TO OWED ABOUT $7,500 FOR 2020 (WITHDRAWAL FOR MY 401K). THEN ON 5/5/2021, OTR INFORMED ME THEY COME UP WITH RESOLUTIONS THAT I HAVE TO PAY THE IRS $45K WITH $670.00 MONTH INSTALLMENTS FOR 6 YEARS. HOW DID I ENDED UP OWING THE IRS MORE THAN I FIRST STARTED. IF ONLY I AGREED WITH THE IRS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND PAY THEM INSTALLMENTS FOR $30K PLUS MY YEAR 2020 TAXES ($7,500) YET STILL THE TOTAL I WOULD HAVE OWED TO IRS IS NOT $45K AND WONT BE $670 MONTH. I'M WILLING TO PAY BUT I EXPECT THE OTR WHO REPRESENTS MY CASE TO AT LEAST HAVE NEGOTIATE WITH THE IRS FOR LOWER MONTHLY PAYMENTS INSTEAD.

I had to pay $5000 up front and I didn’t get any reduction and can’t afford to pay but I’m on a payment plan also when they filed my 2019 taxes they had to amend them in Dec because they didn’t include the healthcare subsidies and I sent them my 1090 i time to file. Also never got a copy of my 2019 state taxes and JUST found out( March 2021) that I was supposed to send the copy in myself but never got a copy. So now I’m waiting for a copy to be sent to me. Just talked to Becky on phone from optima last week. Waiting for the copy. I never got a copy in my portal. I thought they had sent them into state. So if I send the 2019 North Carolina taxes in now assuming I get a copy from optima soon then I might owe fees and penalties. It was not my mistake. I will be calling NC department of revenue to see what I can do about this. A reduction in my taxes with the help of optima would have been helpful since I’m on a low income with medical bills etc. so the only thing I paid $5000 for was some protection from IRS garnishing. I could have worked with them myself. I will not recommend Optima tax to anyone.
