We initiated a power purchase agreement with Vivint Solar/Sun Run this year, which was perfect for what we were looking for. The entire experience was one of the most pleasant I have had in any kind of sales setting. Our sales rep Rob was a very knowledgeable and transparent sales person and at no point did we feel any sort of pressure or lack of support in the process. The entire process of permitting and preparation were handled by Vivint, and the installation was much faster and more efficient than I was expecting. I highly recommend this company for solar projects. Power purchase agreement is a great option for those without the up-front cash to buy a system, without hassle of taking out a loan or leasing, and also looking for ultimate convenience and startup ease.

Michael M was the representative who introduced me to Vivient Solar two years ago. I was traveling back and forth to New Jersey to help a family member. I informed him that I was traveling quite a bit and that I had heard some negative press about the company. Michael answered all of my questions as truthfully as he could and then told me he and Vivient would be ready whenever I was ready for an install. with me on my solar installation this past Wednesday, June 17th.
When I reached out too him through a neighbor, he promptly responded. even with Corvid-19 happening, Mr. M has tried to accommodate me with any issues. On the day of install, he showed up to introduce the install crew and answer any o my concerns. The install crew, under the leadership of Gregory, was timely, professional, and polite. They answered my questions and concerns immediately. While the team seemed like they were brothers-there was no playing around and goofing off. They acted as if they wanted to be at work. They had great camaraderie yet didn't waste time. They really impressed me when they took the time to check their work (in the rain-for 20 minutes) before leaving my driveway. Vivient please hire more employees like Michael M, Greg and his install team!!
The only problem I have with Vivient is the fact that I want and need a monthly paper bill.

The ease and flexibility with scheduling an appointment for installation is the first opportunity to receive focused support from customer service. Once the installation team was on-site the team lead communicated their intentions for the work and how the installation would progress.
Work on our home began at 7am and ended at 5pm.
During that time period there was minimal construction noise in comparison to the size and number of solar panels installed. When the work was completed all debris, boxes and other materials were picked up and taken away by the team. The only thing left behind were the beautiful solar panels that look like artwork on the roof.
The installation was done while under a state stay-in requirement and the workers followed all social distancing protocols when interacting us, in addition to wearing shoe coverings and face mask protection when entering our home.
From start to finish, we are pleased and impressed with the professional, attentiveness and commitment of Vivint Solar’s panel installers. Now, we will become users of Vivint Solar panels, which is another experience we can share in a few months.

I was very satisfied with the installation crew and their coordinated team effort to install the panels and the hook up. Everyone had their own part to do and the did it professionally took the time necessary to get it done right. When they arrived I consulted the the electrical connect specialist for the location of the disconnect switch and other outside box. Since we were planning to have a 4-seasons room the boxes had to be installed on another part of the house. After advising what we were planning, he took action and did exactly what was needed. His work was extremely precise and was aesthetically pleasing. The team cleaned up very well and it was a pleasure to see a team work so well together.

Installation of our system was completed earlier this week. While it isn't operational yet, waiting for the power company to switch out meters, our entire experience with Vivint has been outstanding, from the sales rep, Jesse, and the inspector who evaluated our home's suitability, to the installation crew. Everyone was happy to answer all our questions and explain how the system will work. Installation was done quickly and efficiently. My only suggestion would be that the time window in the pre-installation email be a little more clear. My email said that installation would be between 6 and 10 am. I was up and had our cars moved at 6, but the crew didn't arrive until 9. Once I found out that they had traveled from Concord, some 85 miles from here, I understood the arrival time, but it would have been better if I knew how far they had to travel to get here.

I have been with Vivint solar since 2015 I save tons of money I wanted to go solar but couldn’t afford to buy the panels out right I save $200 to $300 a month in the summer months It cost nothing to install If I choose to remove the panels It costs me $350 Which is nothing compared to my savings My sales person when I signed on was Jason He was very informative and not pushy I researched the company for a couple of months Then I decided to join them Never once did he push me when I was researching them My only issue with solar panels on the roof is the snow falling off the roof (it falls off hard all at once) My gutters have had to be reattached to my house twice My neighbor who was anti solar Signed on to Vivint in 2017 I shouldn’t speak for them However they say the savings is outstanding (they have heated pool and central air conditioning) I have had other people sign with them I was promised a finder gift Never received anything But I still recommend them Great savings if you use a lot of electricity 👍👍👍

Slightly more than 3 months into our transition to Solar and it is nearly completed. So far, everything has gone to plan. Tyler H was very professional and his assistant Chrissy D were always there to answer our questions along the way. Financing has been solid. Existing roof and electrical inspection went great. Our 43 panel installation was completed in less than 7 hours once County permits were approved. Installers were efficient and left everything the way they found it. Original install date was rained out and we were glad they were willing to reschedule for the next Sunday open. County electrical and structural inspectors both came the same day within a half-hour window and found no issues. Utility Company (NOVEC) came in less than a week to switch over our Meter and did so without having to power down the whole house. All we are waiting on now is for VIVINT to notify us that we are cleared to operate. Thanks again to Tyler, Chrissy and the rest of the VIVINT SOLAR team.

I'm a Vivint Solar customer since August of '17, and so far everything is exactly as agreed upon. I pay only for the energy provided by the sun, and the monthly bill is the price I expect to pay, calculated by energy produced.
Recently, I calculated the 2.9% annual increase that I will pay over the life of the 20 year contract. My contract started at .159 (or 15.9 cents) per kWh and at the end of 20 years, that number will slowly increase to approx. 28.3 cents.
I looked at an electricity bill prior to being on solar, and calculated the cost of the entire bill (all delivery charges, fees, etc. added in), divided by the kWh usage, and came out to 28.3 cents per kWh at that time. That tells me that, even at the end of my 20 years of increases, Vivin't rate will never be higher than the grid rate - unless the grid rate should drop significantly...
Also, there are no taxes or fees. I pay exactly the rate times the energy produced, and nothing more.
A small added benefit: Through Net-metering, the energy I sell back to the grid gets credited to me, currently at the rate of 20 to 22 cents per kWh. I (currently) pay 16.4 cents. So, for every 100 kWh I get credited for, I'm making $4.00 - $6.00 more than what I paid for it. And when grid electricity goes up, I'm sure the credit back to me will increase. Not too shabby.
If I were to buy and own the solar panels outright, I would have virtually no payments to the grid. However, the upfront cost would run me around 14K after tax incentives. My plan didn't cost me a penny, just the 20 year contract for cheaper and green electricity.
Also, at no cost to me, before getting the panels installed on my roof, Vivint set me up with new electric service, from the street to my home to a new circuit-breaker panel box. They also upgraded my service from 60 to 100 amps. If I were to have that done on my own, I'd have to pay an electrician a few thousand dollars out of pocket. Just an added bonus in my Vivint experience.
Two-years in, I'm interested to know what kind of buyout offer I'll be presented with just after year 6 into the contract. I like knowing that any maintenance which may be required for the duration of the contract is not my concern, so in four years, I'll have to do much consideration on that buyout offer.
Long story short (oops, too late), Vivint has cost me less for my electricity and I love being green.

I am so happy I went solar! I chose Vivint because they were the first ones to explain all of the details to me! I got a free 1 hour consultation in my home covering every question I had.
My average Electric Rate with PG&E was 24¢ and now I am paying 18¢ with Vivint Solar. They even upgraded my electrical panel on the outside of my house! All of this was NO COST to me, and now I have Solar Power for my home!
I definitely recommend getting Solar, instead of going with PG&E increases to customers because of all the wildfire liabilities they have to pay for.
If your roof is in good condition, go for it!

Just put solar on the house electric bill was costing too much money, now cut in half. Used Vivint Solar part of program that would give us a new roof if needed no cost to us! Process was very fast, we met Enos H in March and we are already installed! We had a historical home which had to be approved by our town board and he handled everything for us. Our home qualified to get a system at no cost at a rate much lower than we pay National Grid! If you are looking to take advantage of the free program, or even ownership programs in MA, Enos H is the guy to reach out to. We couldn’t be happier with him and Vivint Solar!

When my energy consultant came to our door, I was busy preparing a celebration dinner. At my husbands insistence, I came to hear what he had to say and ended up inviting him into my kitchen while I cooked. My husband and I had created a non-profit that helped businesses integrate sustainable practices into their business and I knew a lot about solar. However we were so impressed with our consultant's knowledge, lack of sales pressure and honesty that we decided to go solar with Vivint. Now, 1 year and 1/2 later I can say our system has done exactly what it was created to do. produce all our electrical needs, protect us from our power company's rate hikes and cut our over head while building equity in our home with 1 regular, unchanging payment for our system. We have had heavy rains with wind the last 2 months and we have had no leaks. We have had a great experience with Vivint with regard to all aspects of the company: ongoing support from our energy consultant, purchase price under the cost of our utility bill, system power production of electricity promised and no electrical problems or roof problems.

Vivint Solar is a well structured company with longevity. When shopping for solar system you won’t find too many companies that have been around as long as Vivint has. We were recommended to them by a friend who had a solar panel system installed in their house. We received a call from the sales manager he came to our house super professional and explained everything to us and was able to answer all of our questions. We decided to honor there quote and have the system installed. The install team came very professional and did an excellent job installing the panels. We recommend Vivint Solar.

We have had our solar panels for a while now
Sales was very nice and professional
Never felt any pressure
At the time, we had about 8 homes in my town in Northern NJ with solar panels from Vivint
I visited each homeowner, all positive reviews
I checked with the town, no complaints filed
We signed the contract
My 1st PSE&G bill had an overall credit of around $11,( gas, electric and maintenance coverage)
But, now I feel like the savings are no where close to what I had hoped for
I wish I could just get them removed
Just disappointed
But, I do not have anything negative to say about the company

I’m in Palm Springs, Ca. And have had a perfect experience with Vivint. Everything went smoothly as promised by our rep, Christine. It did take 3 months from start to finish but we were informed that it could take that long.
We did the PPA agreement and were told of the 2.9% increase each year. That’s equal to abou 1/4 Penny. Edison goes up about 10% each year around here.
We would recommend Vivint and have recommended Vivint to our friends. We got $250.00 from Christine and Vivint for one neighbors referral. We have to wait for the other 2 to be finished to get our other $500.
One thing Vivint did was to upgrade our electric panel to make the Solar work. We were not charged a penny. Another company wanted $2000.00.
The other thing I liked about Vivint is that their panels are American made.

We have had Vivint solar for several years now. I have had nothing but headaches from their customer service in Utah. After complaining for several times sending in 6 months worth of my electric bill for proof never getting an answer from anybody I decided to call them and tell them I was going to take the panels off and throw them down to my yard. Two days later two technicians showed up they checked out my system and I had 5 panels not working! This was going on for about 5 or 6 months. No one has returned any calls to me to give me any type of credit for this. I complained 3 times that something was wrong. So far I have had no use for Vivint solar.

I don’t know what a few of these people are talking about but I guess it’s like anything else. However we love our system! Perhaps Vivint has solar locked down in Southern California better or something. Our system is producing very well and mos we requested 105% of our power. That way we could use the air more freely. We got a edison bill the end of the year as expected for only $80. I guess it was for the connection fees as the sales representative clearly explained. Our system also looks nicer then our neighbors - very sleek! I’m well aware of the tier rate increases in January and the time of use rate increase in the future. Really glad we made the no brainer switch. There’s so much sun here it makes no sense not to have solar and Vivint delivered on everything that was promised from the door to door sales manager. He said the only thing that could possibly go wrong is edison takin a bit to turn it on but the easy solution is I turned it on after 3 weeks as suggested no bi deal. Thanks Vivint super happy with everything and they exceeded expectations. I might even get you security smart home next ??

Great experience from start to finish. Outside reps answered all my Questions and detailed analysis of cost and solar production from my panels was quick and painless. At first they could not get accurate reading from google maps to get a good estimate, so they sent an installer out to measure roof and pitch and surrounding tree areas and checked out my current electric panel to get the best reading for the amount of panels my house would need. This was even before I decided to go with Vivint. Other companies I talked with would not do anything like this until I signed on the dotted line. After I decided to go with them, Inside sales crew were on top of things keeping me posted on what was going on behind the scenes with my project. I received the permit to install with in a week of sighing contract. The install took a day (on a rainy day) 2 weeks after approval from county permits. And the reason it took 2 weeks out is because I wanted them to install on a Friday. If I wanted them to install sooner they could have gotten it done sooner if I did not pick a Friday install. After install, the home office crew called me several times to keep me up to date on progress. The following Monday, the county inspector came out and approved the install. I received the info from the home office they are submitted the paperwork for PG&E to convert to Solar and that could take up to 4 weeks or more. To my suprise I received an email from PG&E a week later giving me the ok to turn on my solar panels. So from when I sign to turning on the switch to activate my Panels -4 weeks

In late November of 2017 we started to consider going Solar. December 5th, we entered into an agreement. On January 2, 2018 we got our solar panels installed. Upon the installation we were told there would be a waiting period for the multiple inspections and approval (3-4 months).
During the process we received customer service updates via phone and email. Plus, the online account allowed us to check our progress throughout the entire process.
Today, March 21, 2018 we received permission to operate and went solar. 11 weeks and 1 day or 2 months, 19 days excluding the end date.
The process was easy, and everyone was very pleasant to work with. Thank you, Juan Arraya, the Vivint Install and Customer Service team.

I I have had excellent experiences with Vivint solar over the last 4+ years. Their support team is frequently in touch to check in and provide info or offer assistance if needed. Vivint team members are professional, polite and knowledgeable. They know the product and are fully prepared to explain down to the smallest detail. Because other procedures need to be completed by the electrical company as well as the town before the system is up and running, I found the frequency of phone or text contact extremely helpful. As I own a house with an in law apt. This is the third installation of solar panels. My experiences to date have all been positive. I'm ecstatic that my electric bill is so low and I've even been rewarded with monetary incentives for recommending others who might want to save tremendously.

I am usually not one to leave a review, but after being a person that went to look up reviews on this company after a young man, Will, came knocking on my door talking about the solar programs that are available to us, I thought I should talk about my actual experience.
When Vivint came knocking I was initially very skeptical but I had already been looking into it and actually had a quote from the Solarcity guy in Home Depot months before, so I let him proceed. Since I never really heard of Vivint before I naturally looked them up and found some frightening reviews. When I confronted the salesman, Will, with the reviews he assured me that in certain areas they have delays and trouble because they are doing business in expanding solar markets like the north east where solar is now an option but here in Southern California ( LA) they operate more smoothly because they do most of there business here and government policies that make the process easier.
After telling the salesman I'm not deciding that day he offered $500 cash back to get the process started since the contract can be cancelled until they do the installation. I told him I need a few weeks to decide. After several days he called me back and said after talking to management Vivint approved me for $900 cash back , I decided to take them up on it . *** use this tactic and maybe you can get some cash back offer from them. *** also they have different prices if you do their in house financing or do cash(lower!). I did cash and financed it with a HELoQ)
Considering the cost of the solar city was going to 19k and vivint came in at 17500 and they also mailed me $900 I feel I got a pretty good value with a good company. so far I have no complaints. From the day I first spoke to the salesman and when I got a call that I can turn it on, it took about 4 months, which is what they said( "2-5 months")
The installation happened fairly quick within 3 weeks of signing the contract. The installation only took 1 day then I didn't hear anything for a few weeks while I waited for them to have the city inspect the installation. about 7 weeks after the installation I was told that the city and Edison (utility)had approved everything and I can turn on the system.
Overall no complaints, felt I got a good deal and considering the loan payment and any additional energy charge from Edison I am saving about 30-40% off my electricity bill.

Austin, the saleman , was very knowledgeable and did not hesitate to answer questions including the ones I had after our meeting. My wife and I sat down after the meeting and compiled a list of questions.(what happens in a fire, hail damage, sale of house, copy of the contract, etc)
Installation:
The crew arrived around 8AM and finished about 4:30.
Both Patrick and the head electrician were very polite and informative. All the workers were very professional. As far as I can tell, the installation looks great. The piping and the location of the inverters is well chosen. Now all I need is to get the system turned on to see how much I will be able to save on electricity.

Excellent service and an amazing product. I had the pleasure of dealing with the folks from Vivint Solar and couldn't be more pleased. Everyone in the process was extremely professional, well informed, and courteous. Our sales rep Josh Jones explained the entire process to us, answering any and all questions thoroughly. Even though sales was his job, Josh was never pushy, never tried to rush a decision, or did anything to make us uncomfortable at all. The process went extremely smooth, from the initial appointment all the way through the final installation. The install team was terrific and took great care to do an amazing job, really great group of guys. Our brand new solar system is hooked up and we can't wait to reap the rewards. Thank you to Josh Jones, the installation team, and everyone at Vivint Solar that made this decision not only economical, but pleasant as well.

I live on Long Island, NY and have my solar through Vivint. The sales person is and was wonderful. About 3 years after we got our panels installed we decided to do the siding on our house, which would require moving our electric cutoff and piping by Vivint. Was not looking forward to the run around of coordinating this with my siding contractor but was surprised when I called my same salesperson, who asked who my siding contractor was and then coordinated the entire thing for me. The best part is there was no cost to me. I was anticipating a charge but there was none. That is customer service. I will and do recommend Vivint to everyone I know. And by the way, if you do the math 2.9% increase on .16 per kw is still .16 per kw. So don't be fearful of the price increase. Cathy Chen is our sales person. She is awesome and definitely smart.

My parents have been looking into getting solar for some time now, they just never knew how to move forward. When Don G showed up and presented everything to my parents, they could not have been happier. The entire process was painless, as a matter of fact, he made the process easy! Although the process did take some time (no fault to Vivint as the electric company was the hold up each time) in the end it was well worth it. Don supplied his cell phone number so anytime we had questions we could text or call him directly. He always responds so quickly! Everyone we worked with at Vivint was great! Now that my parents are up and running with solar my parents could not be happier. We cannot recommend Vivint and Don G enough!

About two months ago, my husband and I were discussing the possibility of having solar panels installed in our home. A day later, we met Gregory O from Vivint. We have been Vivint customers for over 3 years now. We currently use their security system. Dealing with Gregory was a pleasant experience. He was extremely helpful explaining our options on a technology that we had no knowledge at all. That day, we knew that we have found the solution for our solar energy wishes. He was not only helpful on the sales process but also help us with the rest of the process (installation, permits, etc) and never stopped following up with us always making sure that we were satisfied with the final product. We will definitely recommend Vivint.

Being of the generation that is a bit unsure of new technology, we were skeptical as to the benefit of Solar in our home. We have been delighted however at the results which we have received from our Solar panels. We have not paid an electric bill in months, we actually have a credit balance on our electrical service. We have only had to pay the small monthly Solar service charge. Our account representative has always been available to us regarding any questions that we had, with prompt and courteous service. It was nice to know that this company is always available even after services have been provided and stands behind their product.

After some initial communications, township electrical and building inspection delays (there is only one inspector for both) our solar system went online in April, 2016. We are very pleased with the results of the installation and the follow-up with the company once we got an account manager who knew what she was doing (hence communication difficulty). The solar panels are aesthetically compatible with the colors of our roof and blend well. The electrical installation is neat. Best part ??? Didn't cost us one penny out of our pockets and we are enjoying a smaller electric bill (both VIVINT and our electric supplier). Although viewing our usage on their website and the ability to pay our bill online is convenient, we would like to see a website change to indicate how much electricity we have returned to the "grid" as well. We made a good choice.

I have had the opportunity of learning of vivint solar through the effort of Bethann S. Her initial presentation and knowledge of the product greatly influenced my decision to sign in with vivint. She has empeccable follow up and truly cares about her customers. She has been wonderful to deal with throughout this process and continues to follow up to ensure customer satisfaction .Based upon my initial experience I have again chosen vivint for my rental property in addition to my home. He educated us about solar energy and its benefits. He was very thorough in showing us the cost savings, how the system and process works both at present and in the continued future. Tori, our sales person, was beyond awesome. She broke things down to simple understanding. She answered every question without hesitation. She always answered her texts and every phone call right away. I HATE sales people, but with Tori I felt educated and informed and never pressured to commit. She went the extra distance for us cause of our health concerns and was VERY fast about it. She kept us informed every step of the way and even checked up on us after the sale and installation afterwards. She was amazing. I recommend her to EVERYONE thinking of getting solar. Trust me we had some doozy of solar sales people lie up on one side to another. I can't say enough great things about her. She is amazing and now we consider her our friend.

Vivant Solar has been top notch in everything that has happened so far with my transition to solar electricity, from my Energy Consultant, Weston Marlowe, to the installation and explanation of the panels themselves. Weston is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He returned my calls and/or emails promptly every time I had a question or concern. Which in this day and age is the exception, not the rule. I am also very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the team of young men who installed the panels on my roof. Our experince with Vivint has been great from the salesman to the install. The salesman was very polite and honest. He took plenty of time to answer our questions. We didn't feel pressured into making a decision that day; as many other companies use the offer is only valid for today sales tactic!!! Our salesman gave us a few days to talk it over and make our choice to have the panels installed.
The install team was excellent. Polite, professional, and fast. I felt like they did an exceptional job. They took the time to show us how the equipment worked and what to expect next. The solar panels look awesome and we can' t wait for them to be turned on. Thank you to everyone at Vivint!!

Want to express my pleasant experience so far with Vivint Solar. From the initial contact with Joe it was apparent that he was knowledgeable and wanted to answer every question I might have as a consumer, sorting out all the different plans and programs this new industry is offering to sell or rent to residential homeowner like myself. Joe showed enormous amounts of patience dealing with my constant questions and "what if" scenarios, having the majority of the answers at his fingertips and never making assumptions, if he wasn't sure of his answers he went and got the answers for me. He constantly kept us informed of the process and explaining the delays that come with acquiring the proper permits needed for this. Joe and his partner Maggie stopped by often to ensure that we were pleased and that everything was meeting our expectations. It was very refreshing to work with a young individuals that had purpose to what they were doing and not just a job to pay their bills. I would highly recommend Joe and Maggie to anyone that might have the slightest interest in obtaining solar power for their home, and we have. Vivint should be proud that people like this are out in the field representing their company and the outstanding way they are presenting themselves and Vivint to the millions of consumers out here that want to go green and for it to remain affordable.

Our experience from beginning to end was AMAZING!!! It started with our Sales Consultant Andy who was very knowledgable, through, & very helpful. The install team was great as well. They were at the house when they said they were going to be, & very courteous. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the benefits of the Solar Panels due to having to sell our house & relocate to Arizona with my husbands job. Again Andy, John, & everyone from the transfer team were very cooperative & helpful in getting all the paperwork that was needed for our realtor to sell our house with documents for the new buyer to have the Solar contract transfered to the new owners. We will DEFINITELY use Vivint again when we move into our new home in Arizona! Thank you VERY MUCH Vivint team for EVERYTHING!!!

After researching different options to go solar my wife and I decided the cost of leasing or buying was not within our means nor fit our needs. Than ****** ***** knocked on our door, never liked door knockers, but the words "no cost to you" sparked an interest to listen to this young man. ****** was very polite, well dressed and was very professional in his presentation. Always the sceptic I pummeled him with questions and concerns about the program he was offering. He was very honest and knowledgeable in all his replies, questions that he didn't know the answers to (and they were few) he didn't try to brush off or cover over. He got back with precise answers in a short amount of time. ****** stayed in constant contact with us with phone calls and text messages to keep us informed where we were during the whole process. There were stumbling blocks that ****** help us get over or returned with answers that were very accommodating to us. It was very refreshing and pleasant to work with ****** he not only believes in his product but strives to make the experience for his clients informative and trusting. We had the pleasure of working both with ****** ***** and ****** ******** they stopped by often during the process and were so much fun to talk with and continued to answer the 1000 questions we threw at them. Both are true assets to Vivint Solar, both showed true commitment and desire to be the best, again both for Vivint and for us clients. I would suggest to anyone that is looking to go solar to find ****** and ****** and to experience awesome customer service.
The same can be said for the installation of all equipment. The crew arrived on time, well prepared and energetic. One of the hottest days with skyrocketing humidity yet these guys diligently performed their tasks with the utmost professionalism and speed. They worked as a well oiled machine and the most impressive part was how safe they worked. They ensured they stayed well hydrated and observed all the safety practices for the job they were performing. In less than 8hrs they installed, cleaned up gave us a in depth briefing of what they did how they did it and what to expect in the coming months. All during installation they ensured that I, as the homeowner, was happy with what they were doing and any questions I ask they took the time to explain things to me.
All in all it has been an extremely pleasant experience working with ******, ****** and the crew that installed my solar. I would highly recommend Vivint Solar to any of my friends and family. Can't wait for all the final approvals to come thru so we can throw that switch and go green.

I have been with Vivint Solar for 10 months now. ******** *****, who was my sales representative, is very professional and knowledgeable of solar energy. When I had any questions about solar energy and how it can reduce my electric bill, she was very prompt in resounding to my concerns. I have recommended Vivint Solar to my family and friends, so can save money on their electric bill that I have.
The construction team who came to my home were professional, knowledgable and respectful of my concerns about the constructional aspect of solar panels. They started with all the necessary permits and finished on time. I had nothing to do. They did all the work for me and even informed me that if I had any roof repairs, after the solar panels were installed, they would come and remove them, store them for me for a nominal fee. No other Solar Company offered this value to me. Other Solar Companies said to me, " You are on your own to have them removed". This will increase the home owners liability for the solar panels.
I would definitely recommend Vivint Solar, I already have and will continue to do so.

Tony DePaola IS our Vivint Solar Representative. A true professional who displayed EXCELLENT customer service throughout the entire process. He excelled at keeping us informed along the way. When it came time for the actual installation, He commented that His install team is impressive. He was Right! They were fast, efficient, respectful and the quality of their work is truly "second to none"! I'm very picky about details and I have a discriminating eye in regards to detail and quality in all matters but especially towards workmanship. It was obvious that our install was NOT their "first rodeo"! Once we finally got on line, we have been very pleased with the more manageable/reasonable monthly utility bill. The waiting period from final install to full operation was excessive I thought but other than that, we are very happy with our system. Did I mention NOT ONE CENT of our money has gone into the system except to pay for our monthly electricity. Solar is GREAT!

Ever since we were linked in with Joshua Watts working with Vivint solar has been nothing but positive. We had a small issue with snow on the panels, that had nothing to do with Vivint solar, it was mother nature unleashing one of the worst winters in memory. There was damage incurred when the snow came off the roof and Vivint was quick to repair any damage to the house as well as the solar panels. Joshua ensured that everything was working well and that we were satisfied. You can't ask for more than that. Joshua checks with us occasionally to see if there are any needs or problems. There has been no problems but it is a good feeling knowing that Vivint has employees who keep the customer first. I would recommend Vivint, and have, to anyone who would be interested in installing Solar electric.

My husband and I were skeptical at first. Our rep, Peter was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to understand. Vivint customer service was OUTSTANDING! We signed up in September and was installed by November. The crew was wonderful with the installation, very professional and very nice. Once we starting using the solar, we slowly saw our electric bill go down. This month was $15. We also decided to take advantage of the low interest rates to refinance to another VA mortgage. With the VA being so strict we were worried that because of the solar (hearing all the negativity) we were going to have a hard time. Well, just the opposite. Most other solar companies will have you sign a "lease" which would make it a bit difficult to buy or refinance your home. NOT VIVINT. The contract clearly states that there is "no lien on the property". They even emailed me a letter 5 minutes after speaking with them, stating so. Well, we closed just last week , with absolutely no issues. Vivint customer service even called us to make sure that we had all the documentation we needed and wanted to know the status of our refi and how it went. Now that is service. Very personalized and professional. INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even 6 months into having Vivint Solar, we still keep in touch with Peter our rep. I would highly recommend Vivint. NO lie.

You wont find a team or professionals who care more about their clients than the folks at Vivint Solar. The consultant begins the process in educating you about solar, and making sure your home and usage will qualify for the program. Followed by a expert technician taking a look at the structure, electrical service, condition & Type of Roof, and verifying the internet connection. Once all property conditions are confirmed a Solar design is created. Once we approved the design, and a permit was issued. The installation crew arrived. Installation was complete in half a day. The property was left clean. No issues, no complaints. Great experience.

At first i knew nothing about Vivint Solar until someone told me about their PPA program. I looked into it, a Solar energy consultant came by and explained the program. This is fantastic! I paid nothing for the system, im not responsible for insurance, taxes and warranties and just pay for the power they produce!!!! It took a little while to go active (total about 5 months) but the savings are amazing ! Last year i paid National Grid $358 in April and this year April I got an $18 bill !! I paid Vivint $124. Savings of over $200 for my home!!!! Next few months im expecting $0 bills from NG and credits to use in the future! Best part? No lean on my home as i checked with my mortgage company. :). Totally recommend Vivint. Thanks guys for helping go green and save money too.

I have nothing but high praises for Vivint Solar. We have solar on our homes and it is saving us tons of money. I am thankful that there are companies like this in the world which are helping the environment by providing a service to home owners. We priced out buying a solar system and it just did not make sense. We would not see savings for years and with Vivints PPA. We saw savings from the first month of it being turned on. The guy who claimed Vivint is charging more than BGE sadly does not understand how solar works. Vivints PPA price is 10.5 cents flat. There are no delivery fees like BGE chargers. All those fees added up to us paying close to 16 cents per Kwh. Today we pay 10.5. Whats not to like about saving a ton of money and causing less pollution?
The only problem is it takes a long time to get qualified and installed. I was explained this up front so I was prepared. I can understand that is not Vivint's fault. They have to work with a lot of government red tape. So be patient and understanding when they tell you it could take 6 months. But once the day of installation comes, the systems are installed in 1 day. Vivint is like a well oiled solar machine.
Help the environment, save money on my bills, be a good example for my children about how I care about the world. Its a no brainer. Why spend extra more money to buy dirty power? The choices we make today effect our children and our grand children. I am so thankful that our home now has solar on it. The kids are so thrilled too.

vivint solar, let's see, I had an appointment August 28 of 2015, and I am online as of yesterday, February 3, 2016. After researching the company for over three years, I decided to go with them for many different reasons. One reason everything was explained to me step by step, they also told me at the time of the appointment. It could be 6 to 7 months. This is because there's a lot of paperwork involved permits to obtain to be signed and finalized by many different organizations that are involved I am completely satisfied with vivint solar and will recommend it to my friends whenever I need to contact the company with a question my representative is always there to answer.

I went with Vivint Solar liked the salesman and then I did my homework. I read the PPA front & back including all the small print. Nothing there that I thought would prevent me from signing up and saving 60-75 dollars a month.. I was also only the 2nd person in my district to get the Solaredge equipment the Vivint has recently started to install. Very nice 6.76Kw system. The installation was great the process moved very quickly. I did however take some initiative to get local inspections done and I did take the liberty of forwarding some of the required documentation for interconnection to my utility company. All said and done from the time I signed the contract on April 1, 2015, panels installed April 24th, inspections done on May 11th, I got the Permission to Operate from my utility company on May 13th, only took 6 weeks and 2 days. I could not be happier... I know this is not the norm and I did figure it would take 3-4 months before the process was complete. Was also told by NRG and Solar City it is a 3-5 month process. Just want to say that everyone I dealt with from Vivint Solar was fantastic. And I would recommend them to anyone..

We always knew we wanted solar but as 1st time home owners back in 2011, we weren't positioned to buy them out right as that was the only option back then with other companies. When lease programs came out, we still held out because we didn't want a loan on our credit because we were more interested in putting out monies into real estate.
Vivint came to our place in March of 2014, this was the first time we heard of a PPA. After drilling the representative we felt comfortable with moving ahead...best thing is NO MONEY OUT OF POCKET.
We've since enjoyed the streamlined process they have in putting together the design, paying for any improvements that the public utility requested and a quick and very informed installation.
Knowing that they'll be taking care of the system for the next 20 years is also very comforting. We've been paying 44 cents a kilowatt all these years to our public utility, now that we're locked in at 19 cents to Vivint, we look forward to all the benefits that will come with the money savings we are going to experience over the next 20 years.

Great! Luke did a great job in explaining to us about solar and the benefits of the same. Once we decided to go with Vivint, he never failed to follow up till the job was done. He made sure that the install went well and assured us that it will be running in a coulple of weeks after inspection. Mario and the install team were punctual and did a great job. Kudos to them as well. Because of a great experience, I have recommended Vivint to my neighbor who's kind of interested in solar and made sure that Luke will be the agent to sit down with them. So far we just had the panels/system installed yesterday. It's not turned on yet. My experience at this point has been really good. The salesman Jeremie was very helpful and knowledgeable. They sent a tech to inspect the house and fuse panel. They found the panel needed to be upgraded. Vivint had an out side electrician replace the panel free of charge. A crew from Vivint came next and installed the system and the were great! professional , polite, and clean. So far very happy....

I have wanted to "go solar" for years now, but do not use enough electricity to make it feasible financially. Vivant Solar is changing all this, and I am very happy that their sales rep knocked on my door recently! They have made the whole process very easy and are most responsive to any questions, and best of all, not a penny out of my pocket to get the panels on my roof. I will pay only for power I use, and at a much lower rate than before. What's not to love about Vivant? Absolutely nothing!!
