Vivint sales rep. Darren S was phenomenal, he worked with us in all aspects and answered all questions that were put to him honestly and very efficiently. The installers were very efficient, on time, polite, and clean up was left immaculate. The only drawback thus far is getting all inspections outside of vivint done and meter change. Thank You to all Vivint employees and esp. to our Rep.. for a job greatly done.

This was the most satisfying experiences I have encountered for many years. From my meeting with Troy M to the final installation of the solar panels, Troy, kept me apprised of the procedure. The install crew was prompt and very professional. A small problem did arise after the men left but Troy was still here and contacted the supervisor, Skyler, who came out with a short time. He came back the following day and made the correction. I would strongly recommend Vivint to any of my friends. GREAT JOB!!!

I normally don't deal with door to door sales people, but Liana caught me on a good day with a product I was already interested in. Liana was very knowledgable, kind and personable. The whole experience so far has been very easy and the everyone I've encountered with vivant has provided very high quality customer service. They have honestly been some of the nicest people I've ever worked with. We just recently got our solar panels installed and are waiting for city approval, so I can't comment on the next phase yet...but I haven't been disappointed.

He was able to answer every question that I threw at him that would normally deter me from having interest in the product. It assured me that going with Vivint would benefit me the future. I looked into solar with six different company's and did not feel comfortable with the savings and the commitment of leasing solar. I'm a structural engineer and I did thorough research. I was really skeptical I did my research and asked a lot of question to the local energy consultants here I the valley. I really liked the guy Vivint assigned to my neighborhood mr louus Kunz. Mr kunz made it easy I knew I would save about 40% off the bill because they charge for power it's not a lease payment your stuck with paying untill it's paid off and you can remove the lean. He didn't do a long sales pitch he just calmly and quickly explained the program in detail wich helped me to relax and think about the offer. Vivintsolar does not put a lean on and Vivint charges me 40% less all year round and my commitment is just pay them for power so it'll transfer like a power bill if I move. simple it's just better than Edison I'm referring my sister to get it and her bills are already really low it's still makes sense and saves her 30% off of Edison's rate we love it I'm retired and I have more funds in my pocket book. The best part was it was stress free I had been pulling my hair out researching solar when mr kunz knocked in the door and made it easy lied on me I appreciated that.

The team that installed our system was so professional and you coul see they were all about safety. When they were done the system looked great so professionally installed! This has been a positive experience for us! Our salesman Doug, explained the PPA agreement and the process in detail. He was very friendly and professional. The installation crews were amazing. We had one crew for the morning and another in the afternoon. Both were extremely courteous and professional. They worked without taking breaks and were focused on their tasks! They respected our property and cleaned up before leaving. I highly recommend Vivint!!!!

At first I thought I had to redo my roof. but, that was not the case and they did try to help me with the roof if I had to do it. They even called and got to install the panels earlier than we had plan. they came in and got right to work. They took their mess with them were very professional. I am very please with the installation. I have a flat roof, so if I did not know the panels were there I would not even know because you can not see them from the ground. and think that is great.

Alexis came by and showed she was very knowledgeable about the Solar process, and sold me on the service. Up until the installation, she checked up on me often. Even after the installation was complete, she kept checking in to make sure everything was up to standards. I've have the service turned on for almost two weeks, and I'm already seeing a difference! This company is awesome!

Vivint up front about the process, the costs, the billing, and the installation, but particularly the time frame. I had my panels installed in May, by an amazing team who were all friendly, knowledgeable, and worked quickly and efficiently to install my solar panels in one day. Their inspector and my town inspector came out and approved the installation a week or so later. I am STILL waiting for my electric company to install the new meter and give me the go ahead to turn on. Which is frustrating, because it's been a really sunny summer. But my rep from Vivint told me it would take a while, so I'm trying to be patient. I highly recommend Vivint Solar for your solar installation.

We have been a customer of Vivint Solar for a year now. When Jarret first came to our home we had been extremely skeptical of VIVINTs "pitch" that solar would cost use NOTHING. Yea sure, what is the catch? Well Jarret, who is extremely knowledgeable, explained it all, then showed us in writing. No intall cost, no maintenance costs, no fees, no taxes... ONLY .15 cents a KWH. Pay for the energy we make (make more than you use, and PSEG give you a credit). Oh and the government will give you a PPA credit (Power Purchase Agreement) on our taxes. yes..so you pay $.15 a KWH, to Vivint , at the end of the year the total of all your payments is added to your return. So that actually makes it LESS than .15 KWH. I am VERY happy we went solar!!!

The workmanship, although I can't get up on the roof, my husband viewed the plans, they made a few visual corrections, and things went smoothly. The crew was here when they said they would be, followed through with future dealings with Eversource, etc., and we are all set. Most helpful. And will recommend Vivint to anyone interested in Solar power.

He explained how the whole system works, how it wouldn't cost me anything, how it helps the environment and also saves me money on my electric bill. The energy consultant was very knowledgeable and informative really making it easy to understand solar and how it would give me all the benefits of owning my own system without any of the libility, win win!!! Though it took some time to get everything up and running, the wait was well worth it. The whole process and timeline was explained in detail setting my mind at ease (plus it wasn't like it was my money sitting on the roof!). I would definitely recommend Vivint to anyone evern remotely interested in saving money and going green!

It took a while for the power company to switch my NET meter, but once it was activated I have been up and running since January 2015. I could not be more pleased with my system, it's results, or dealing with Vivint Solar. I highly recommend going Solar for all homeowners that can, and I highly recommend going Solar with Vivint Solar. I have been saving money and helping the environment. Vivint did a great job installing the system and are a pleasure to work with.

Took time to get us up and running but that is not Vivint's issue. During installation of our panels, there was a small issue in our house and it was corrected immediately. We contacted a contractor, our rep brought us a check to cover the problem, and all taken care of. Our rep has stopped by to check in several times. We are very pleased with the savings from Vivint and we recommend this company to all! Do you research and understand solar before you sign on with any company. This program was the best for our home but may not be the best for yours.

The best way to go solar for free i have ever seen. PG&E rates are so high here that going solar saves me close to 50% off my bill. And vivint takes care of everything plans permits panels installation insurance maintenance all free. i only pay for power at a much lower rate than PG&E.charges. once people realize they can dump PG&E everyone will, then they will stop allowing new solar chstomers like they have in Hawaii. so you better hurry. i see no down side to going solar with vivint.

The sales person was very knowledgeable and forth coming as well as transparent. He provided detail process information and program information. We did not get very far in advanced notice of installation. The installation was quick and courteous. The team was not in our way. They picked up their garbage fairly well. I was not happy with some of the post install patch work that needed to be done although there will be another team to do that in mire detail, as I understand.

We had additional panels placed on our roof and I explained at that time-that I want bird wire placed around my new panels to prevent another pigeon problem like the one I had previously dealt with. The salesman stated that they would install the wire when they placed the new panels on my roof. It’s been three months and no wire. Tried calling the salesman and he won’t respond to my calls. I have two neighbors that are thinking about having solar installed now I’m wondering if I should even suggest Vivint to them after what I have been through.

So far so good. The salesman has kept in touch and was easy to get in touch with. The installation went very well. They arrived on time. They were friendly and mindful of our property. The installation was very fast for such a large job. The installers work feverishly to complete the job and to clean up. As far as the performance of the panels we shall have to see. We are not completely connected yet. We are waiting for inspection.

The crew was very knowledgeable and efficient. I would like to give another review 6-8 months from now, after the panels have had some time to produce some energy.

So far we are still in the early stage, gentleman told my husband that within 2/3 weeks the city of Vallejo & PG&E will be coming to inspect. We made the right decision to go solar.

No out of pocket cost and everyone I had contact did what they said they would. I am now paying only 0.19 per kwh, period. No stair step to a higher level. The annual increase is 2.5 % each year for 20 years. I am very happy and I am telling all of my friends as well.

I am astounded at how bad the customer service is. Here is an example. I found out on December 9 that our new system wasn't generating electricity and hadn't been for over a month. It took over a month and 6 phone calls from me to them to get it fixed. In that time, they promised me 6 call backs and made only 2. They promised to have people come to the house 5 times and only did it twice. And why weren't they fulfilling their legal obligations under the lease and monitoring the system? Why did it take *me* checking on the system to notice that it was down? There have been a number of other problems, both before and after going live, and the system has only been on-line for less than 4 months. I'm currently trying to get them to take a look at their web site, which stopped working a week and a half ago. 3 calls to customer care and multiple email messages to help@vivintsolar.com have produced nothing useful. I have no idea when/if it will get resolved. On the plus side, the system is now working, which is over 95% of why I'm their customer. But their customer service is as bad as I've ever seen in my 60+ years. Painfully bad.
