We love our panels and the electric we receive/produce. The quality of these panels is great. The drawback was we had a lot of questions, and after installation was complete, we saw or heard from no one. We tried to get a Tesla battery wall, but our salesman said they did not have or recommend. Then I see ads for Tesla Walls. We really have no idea of the functionality of the app, nor the solar power itself, and I tried to ask the electrician, but he spoke no English and I speak no Spanish. Our power bill went from over $500-$600 to $37.50, the charge Duke Energy charges. I would highly recommend SunPower and always do, just push for the power wall.

After the engineer came out, they came back and installed the job and then prepped for the city permit inspection, and in my case, the inspector came out when they were doing some minor works. Overall, they timed it really well and did an excellent job from installation standpoint. The system is very good; it's reliable and it is easy to use. My first system was purchased with my house and it was from SunPower so I purchased my second system from them to match my first system. There were hiccups, but it was very good overall. They were able to address my issues in a timely manner and answer my questions on on the while on the phone.

Sunpower has one of the best panels on the market today. The panels i had put on my roof are working great. The problem i have is with the monitoring. My system was upgraded on march 16th without my knowlege and my system stopped reporting to the monitoring website. When I reported that I could not check my system I was told that a new firmware was installed and I needed to power cycle the pvs6 component and that should fix the issue. I was also told that I needed to create a new login on the new website to see the monitoring system. I created the new account and installed the app on my phone. I do not like this new monitoring website or system. I can not see that any new information and the site is constanly not allowing me to sign in. The old site was always available and I could see everything on the first page. I would like to see the per panel stats to see how each one is working not just the total system output. To sum up I like the solar system but I dislike the monitoring and customer support.

There has not been any follow up since it was installed and we had a hookup problem that I had to call them to come fix. Once I instigate communication, then they're on it, but they do not follow up outside of that, no training, no nothing. We were missing a part so solar was not working until that part came, or the app was not working until that part came, and then we had to do some adjustments after that.

I relied heavely on reviews before choosing SunPower. With the exception of a couple scheduling hiccups and failure to notify me they have delivered as promised. The sales representative was very thorough with her explanation and answers, the installation team was very effecient and did a nice job. My system has only been active a few weeks and seems to be doing fine, only time will tell. I am happy with my decision to go with SunPower.

Overall great. I'd give it a 4.5 stars. Initial install was great and fast. No problems. Added 6 more panels this year and the system was down for a lot longer than I thought. At least Sunpower made a payment for the initial system because it was so long (about 7 weeks, I expected more like 3-4). Had to come out multiple times to change equipment out.

We went with Sunpower because their components were higher rated than their competition. However, within a year, our inverter went out. And unfortunately, the SunPower app doesn't alert you when production drops off so I didn't know that we weren't producing electricity for over two months. This was rather disappointing. Time will tell if we have any more disappointments. Fingers crossed that we don't.

My rating would be 5 stars except that one of my 16 panels consistently produces about 10% - 15% less electricity than eachof the other 15 panels. When I called to inquire why this was the case, I was told the panel in question is operating within normal parameters. I question this explanation If the panel was operating normally it seems like it should give similar readings to the other 15 panel. But it doesn't. It is always below the other panels, as just described.

I'm getting everything I thought I'd get out of it. I mean I wouldn't go with any other company. I feel that I or other friends and family that have gotten something solar energy and they're still very dependent on the company and they're basically misled per say. I felt like it was told what I was getting so I kind of feel like the process was what I signed up for, not so much like a hidden agenda.

They do a good job. I have no complaints. Install went smoothly, not any problems, everything went as they said when advertised. Anything that was an issue was taken care of right away, I'm happy with it. I would definitely recommend them to anybody else. Everything's working fine but I know there's probably some way that the system could be made cheaper.

You guys manufacture your own panels, few of the companies I checked don't manufacture their own panels so it's like a dependency. It's not pretty clear how much power the SunPower is generating so some extra information would be useful. Once I had a problem with my app on the phone. I didn't get the best support. It took a while to resolve the issue.

We started with sixteen panels and we just upgraded an additional ten because we got a pool. I believe the inverters went out and they had to come out and replace them, but otherwise not a problem. The service has been good. It was a good process, they came on the day they had planned on at the time and they completed it during the day and the project manager kept us informed along the way was what we needed to do.

The staff is always available to keep me in the loop. They always acted very professional whenever I was dealing with him. I think we've got the premium panels that are currently available the wifi connectivity as far as keeping me abreast of how the system is functioning is very easy to use and usually all the feedback that I need regarding the status of the entire system and separate fee from the generate unit that give me updates as needed.

I would highly recommend them. They seem to be one of the more reputable companies. I also liked that they are based out of Kansas City. I find them to be professional. They go above and beyond. I do wish they would call me instead of doing it all over email. Overall I am satisfied with the product. The installation process very quick. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I don't like the wire hanging underneath it and that it went over my roof. They have corrected a majority of that. Everything has worked the way they told me.

The panels that I got are absolutely fantastic. I'm producing more power than I consumer right now and it will help so much having these credits for when the summer really starts to crank up. The installers that came out were professional and courteous. The sales team was knowledgeable and professional as well. Every concern that I have had so far has been addressed quickly, except for one. The app doesn't work properly. I have emailed about it and thus far only been given lip service as to it being fixed.

It is hard to distinguish between SunPower and Cobalt who installed the system but my Sunpower app says my solar is not working, which I don't think is correct. I think there needs to be more done at the completion of a project to make sure the owner and investor understands the system, how it works, what settings they need to change with PGE and what all of the monitoring information means.

So far the system is operating fine. I had one day when the light on the inverter control panel was red instead of cyan. It corrected itself. It occurred before moving into the the new home so I didn't have internet access yet so I couldn't check the status on line. Which is my one complaint, the system doesn't provide a means to see how each panel is doing, it just provides the overall power capability, not at the panel level.

They worked efficiently to ensure us that the total system would be completely installed before the end of 2019. Great communication from the office admin. secretary, Colleen. Workers did a great job! They took care of putting away everything and cleaning up all the rubbish too! Blue Raven worked closely with us to finalize the design concept, and provided detailed and essential information that provided the basis for our decision to proceed. Installation was timely and efficient. However system startup was delayed due to a change order in our contract that was determined necessary when the installation team found it had to reduce the number of solar panels due to space restrictions on our roof.

They are very good, but two items caused the 4 vs 5 star. First the plan was to get the system installed in 2019 to get the full tax credit, and it did not go on till Feb 2020. Second, they had to come back out as two of the three panels were not producing. It was an easy fix once they found it (loose wire connection), but it should have worked the first time.

The sales people, installers and support person did an outstanding job however the quality of the staff that handled our payment was far from excellent - Twice we were told that checks were not received when we had notification that, in fact, they had been. This has caused us to have to go through considerable effort to provide evidence that the checks were cashed. On the first check Sunpower discovered their mistake, don't know yet about the second.

The company had good intentions always trying to get the job done, but due to unforeseen difficulties with the city, we were delayed several months. So that was frustrating and that really took a toll because it took a long time. Install itself went very professionally and quickly.

Since the installation, it's been really clearly performing well for me in terms of output generated and what I'm actually getting. So that's been very, very satisfactory. I think the installation process itself went very well and the only caveat was cleanup could have been better.

It works well. My only complaint is I supposedly installed 150% on my roof and I barely broke even. I would say to anyone installing solar, install more than you think you’re going to need. I also noticed the app can be a little finicky at times other than that works great.

I had an electrical wire that had hung down too low and the local installer was not able to install the panels, but they got right on the process to get the local utility company to come in and fix the line. Then they came back as promised on the scheduled date and installed it. It was great.

1 day install. I can track my generation on the app. It's been one year since install and my power bills have reduced by over half. I have a 2k sq ft home with a large pool. Low true up bill, if you know how to work the power bill system.

Anytime I've had a problem or a question they've responded immediately. As far as putting in the panels and the laborers that did it and everything else, it was outstanding. The issue that I had was with my HOA and with the office in the time it took to get the project done.

Overall, positive rating. Only issue was not measuring the grid voltage before design and installation. We are 208VAC and a 240VAC system was initially installed. SunPower corrected the issue by sourcing and installing new micro-inverters rated for 208V

This was the only company that wasn't pushy or aggressive. I have no problem with the solar, but it's not connected yet. Installation went smoothly. We modified the plans on the fly on the install day and they moved the panels over since they would have been blocked by a neighbor's tree

Halley R give me great customer service and they have quality materials. Came out and did a great job with installation. I had a lot of problems with the technical aspects like codes and stuff. I had to get reimbursed for some electrical.

Install went just fine. I've had some problems with inaccurate measures on the monitoring and once the panels all the said they shut themselves off for a period of time. I wish the monitoring was more accurate, because it's not.

They hold time is usually about forty five minutes to get somebody to help. It is generating power, but it's hard to get help on the monitoring. It was very quick once everybody got out here to work. They don't respond to calls or online chats.

They respond fast. The installation was very good. I have a complaint about some toggle that couldn't supply the monitor. It's been about a couple of months that I've had my solar on my roof. And the monitor hasn't been installed yet. It was supposed to be done in early July and hasn't been done yet.

The only negative I got is that I have two separate systems and I was told by them that I could combine the bills but now they can't do that so now I'm going to pay every month on one and have a credit on the other. However, the follow-up after installation has been all but non-existent. I have had questions about the system which have gone unanswered.

Getting it installed went smoothly. Everything seems like it is good. We also had our roof replaced and I did have a hard time getting them to acknowledge they needed to be involved with the replacement. We got it all worked out and the guy that came was excellent.

Installation was excellent and project planning one issue was the system wasn't working for 60 days whereby we were not receiving Dara and information took us a few times to get this resolved had to escalate system was installed without the right device and Sunpower didn't notify us we notified them

Fairly responsive to my inquiries. They got the job done in one day, but there was one accident where a guy did some damage to our ceiling, so it got mostly repaired but it never got painted so I I'm gonna have to go paint the ceiling.

Very hard to reach people, they never answer their phones. And it takes at least a couple of days to get a call back so if you have a an urgent problem you're stuck. Install went very well, it was smooth. but took longer than I wanted it to.

The phone app could be improved. It doesn't read accurately sometimes. Installation went very well and the panels are working. The laws in California might be changing on how much money we get for selling our power to the grid.

It's the same value as everything as everything else since it is more expensive than others but you get more wattage. I am happy with what it covers. I think customer service. The communication it the best part of the process. There was a mix up with the contractors with the installation.

If anyone asked me about it, I would recommend this solar system. There is always room for improvement but it has reduced my electricity bill and customer service is great though it can be difficult getting in contact with someone since it was installed.
