I am still finding ants around my outside house in the landscape rocks . Less ants noted around the outside basement patio and hot tub but smaller ants found in the front of the house landscape rocks . In the past I always treated the entire landscape rocks areas around the house with a granular product and followed by watering it in and didn’t see the activity that I have seen this year. The wasp nest were nicely taken care of but are we supposed to inform you of insect activity and then you treat it or do you usually do a pretreatment early in Spring to treat a broad spectrum of insects.?

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your observations. We’re glad to hear the wasp nest was taken care of effectively. Regarding the ants in your landscape rocks, it’s not uncommon for activity to vary from year to year based on environmental factors.

Typically, our service includes treatments focused on key problem areas identified during visits. While some broad-spectrum pretreatments can be done early in the season, many insect issues are addressed as they arise to target the specific pests effectively.

However, we’re always happy to adjust your service plan to include more proactive treatments if you prefer. Please let us know if you’d like us to apply a granular treatment to the landscape rocks or any other area, and we can schedule that for you.
