Technician today did good job on outdoor service. Was frustrating that he would not come inside house to inspect & treat active evidence of ant infestation. According to him, the Aptive office in our area has told techs not to enter homes due to red level related to COVID in our county. However, the local Aptive customer service rep who spoke to me today said there was not an indoor restriction set by the company. Thank goodness that customer service rep named Pedro scheduled indoor service for my house next Monday. Very grateful to him. Please consider more consistent communication to branch office teams.

Our technician, Daniel C was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job answering our questions! We did attempt to Click on the link provided in the email to give him a review for the $5.00 bonus but get an error page that says access denied. We do feel that Daniel C went above and beyond and hope that by reviewing his service via this platform gets him the recognition and bonus.

My initial contact with Salesman was positive. He,JAKE, answered all my questions and gave a first class appearance. He was brought from out of state and ,of course I was leery about that. He continued to answer forthrightly,so I allowed service to come the next day. The next day another young man appeared,again from out of state, he again answered my questions. This company seems to be a company that I want to continue have servicing my home.

My initial service was schedule in June but I rescheduled it for July 9 so that I can have in-home service as well. Unfortunately, the customer service person who rescheduled my appointment did not note in-home service but Gordon was happy to complete the in-home service after he asked me about the pest issues we were having. His customer service skills is top notch!

Both the sales rep and Tate who completed the services were very professional. Tate did an excellent job of thoroughly inspecting my home for pests and rodents. The two men, Eric and ? were very polite and they did wear protective masks which I appreciated. They introduced themselves and showed me the information that I had registered with Cameron whom I saw a few days ago and signed the agreement. They explained what they would do and I showed them around the outside of the house We discussed various points and I left them to continue. They seemed to do a very good job and I am looking forward to having them back in 20- 40 days.

Both the sales person and the technician were well groomed, very courteous and easy to talk to. I walked the perimeter of the property with both the technician and the sales rep and they told me exactly what they were going to do and what I needed to do to make the job the best they could. We have a dog and the tech told me to make sure he was kept inside at least 2 hours after the treatment to make sure he would be OK. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the service so far.

Peyton came by today for the 30 day follow up treatment/first quarterly treatment and he was great!! Knocked down and sprayed outside where necessary, and came inside and sprayed around and explained a few things and showed me a few places around my house that had gaps where bugs could be getting in. I've only had 2 treatments but I'm impressed with aptive's services!

The two technicians that have been to my home have done a great job. Now, what I am questioning now is that this note on my receipt. I asked Toby when he arrived if you guys had received an email/text I sent asking was it too wet to spray. He said No...it was not and that he had even sprayed in the rain. Well this note probably should be modified if you can spray in the rain....this note is not applicable.***PLEASE AVOID UNNECESSARY CONTACT WITH MATERIALS, STAY OFF TREATED AREAS UNTIL DRY. Although the job was done well...I had to survey my home for some improvements being made this week....with that I found that their are still several cocoons, which has been stated by both technicians that they were removed. Not a dissatisfied customer, just want the notes to read as it is. Thanks, Carolyn

The customer service was great. I just happened to stumble across Aptive while searching for services through google. I submitted a request for a quote and within 15 minutes Jeff contacted me via phone. Jeff made it very easy to make a decision to use their service. The technician came the next day and was so thorough with the treatment. As stated, there are no hidden fees or additional costs. All contracts and resources are sent by email in a timely manner. I am a new customer. We will see how the treatment goes. So far, I have encountered ZERO issues and I am pleased.

So far so good! We just signed up yesterday and the technician was here this morning as promised and applied our first treatment. He was courteous and professional and finished with half hour as he had said, completely the tasks and then letting us know what he had found and what treatments he had applied. So far I think that the service is great, I like what I've read about the products, and the company and now it's down to seeing how it works. In the future I hope to rate the effectiveness of the products

Your Technician Kris B is quite an impressionable young man. He started establishing rapport the moment we met. I thought having some experience with pest control Kris couldn't tell me much that I didn't already know. Kris not only educated me concerning several things, but my wife as well who was sitting close by listening to our conversation. My wife and I are satisfied we had a component technician. If he's not considered for the $5.00 bonus, I'll gladly give it to him myself.

When Michael C arrived for the service he was very friendly and informative We explained we have been having problems with German Roaches for a couple of years. The problem has been alot less of seeing the roaches since we have been using your service. Actually now we hardly see don't see any, just one or two once in a while. Michael used some powder and checked our glue traps and says things look good. Hopefully they are finally under control.

Technician Corey B was very polite and professional. I asked him to respray around the perimeter of our house and garage and also spray the perimeter of our yard by the side fences and back wall. There were several large cockroaches that were living in the garden mulch. When I returned home later in the evening, there were dead or dying roaches both in the yard and on my patio. Kelton arrive about 10 am which was perfect since we sleep in longer than usual. He wore his mask the entire time at my home. I showed him places to spray in the kitchen, utility room, both bathrooms and specific areas outside. He did an excellent job at everything. Now the proof will be in how effective the spray that is used works on keeping ants and roaches out of my home. They have both been the proverbial pets this past month, especially the ants.

Our technician this quarter was Sergio M. He went above and beyond any previous technicians. He went so far as to treat underneath our backyard patio furniture without me asking him to do so. Additionally, he made me aware that a bat was perching near our front door which he was able to determine from the specific droppings, and he gave me recommendations to deter the bat(s). If I can request a technician for future treatments it would be Sergio.

I felt that Eric was very informative about your product and explained in detail everything he was going to do. I will have to wait to see how effective your product is at getting rid of the bugs, fleas and spiders. But Eric did explain my option just in case I need to reach back out to Aptive, so that they can come back out anytime to respray an area that I feel still has some bugs, fleas are spiders active in my yard.

This was my first inspection from Aptive and although I normally would not rate a first time service as a 5, I appreciated Juan's attention to detail as he conducted his inspection. He took care of the webs that were on my patio furniture which no other pest control company ever did. He communicated very clearly what he was going to do and emphasized that if I had any issues with pests to please call so they could take care of the problem. Awesome job!

Technician had a good presentation but I had to ask him to spray more detailed in the back yard since we’ve been having increased spider activity and presently we have 5 dogs and I am concerned with fleas. He sprayed the inside but the spray was not apply against the receded areas of the trimming so there was wet spots in walking areas. I did not see him use dusters to remove spider webs, though webs were not excessive. I informed this young man that Up to this point I am not happy with results of insect control cause we are still finding a few silver fish inside the house, and one small spider. The yard flower beds have a moderate amount of insect activity despite Moxie’s recent spraying just prior to the first spraying by your company. I’ continue updating if things improve.

The representative was very courteous and did a good job. However You have charged me full price twice and only done 50% of the job. I would like a credit for one month, since you have not come into my house to spray. I do not feel I should be paying full price for a half way job. Do not come out anymore if you are only going to 50% of the job.

My pest control tech was Boone W. He was far more detailed than I was expecting both with explaining the service and the service itself. I was expecting to be let down after reading online reviews about Aptive, but so far I am pleased. I've had salesmen come by in previous years who were overly aggressive and I always got annoyed and declined the service. The salesman, Sam, this time was much more professional. The price is just slightly higher than it is probably worth but if I keep getting quality service technicians like Boone, I will gladly continue the subscription.

How do we do that? Also, I noticed in the notes from Carlos that the insects that were being sprayed for had 2 missing. I had requested to spray for fleas and ticks. My concerns are about the sales process. The service technician and sales rep were GREAT but why do y'all send sales people out with no business cards? Sales rep approached my door just as I was about to leave. I liked what I was hearing in his sales pitch but didn't have time to listen so I asked for a business card. His response, "I don't have any business cards. I have to hit 200 houses per day and simply can not carry that many business cards. But I can come back later." ummmm, ok. Sales rep comes back at agreed upon time and signs me up. I ask for a morning appointment but there are none available. He tells me he will speak with manager and get me a morning appointment the next day, if none are available he will set if for another day. In any event, he will text me and let me know when to expect the technician. By 11 PM I never received a text and I have no contact info to contact rep and check in, so I figured it wouldn't be the next morning. However, bright and early, the technician arrives unannounced, no call, no text, nothing. As he is explaining to me the treatment process he follows up with something along the lines of ..... if you have any questions, feel free to call the salesman. I'm sure he left you a business card ...... lol umm, no he didn't and I even asked for one. My only concern is the lack of communication regarding scheduling. This will not work if Aptive continues to show up unannounced in the future.

The jury is still out as they say. If things come together as Matt (sales guy) and the service eliminate the problems that I am having with spiders, ants, slugs/snails, aphids and other annoying pests all will be fine. As it is there was clear disconnect on the messaging from Matt and Josh (field Tech) which was concerning. Fortunately Matt showed up on the day of service and I was able to communicate my concerns directly with him and Josh and will therefor NOT go into all the detail in this review. Also, I am disappointed that the Aptive app for Android is not compatible with my Samsung, Galaxy Note 8 device. Not sure how best to leave notes re. service without the app. Please advise. I signed up for service three days ago because of the discounted price and my feeling that the company I was previously with was somewhat overpriced. Sometimes the only way I could tell they had been here was the invoice in the door. I liked the technician's thoroughness. He was friendly and professional and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I like the e-mailed followup description of treatment and materials, etc. So far I am very pleased with the service. I am sure I will continue to be pleased unless some bugs show up.

Very friendly, on time, and did a great job! At the last minute, my husband and I had changed our minds and wanted the inside of the home sprayed, and the technician had no problem with it. I'm also a huge fan of all the bug cocoons being knocked off the house. It saves me a lot of time and the headache of my husband grabbing a ladder and doing it himself, or me having to drag out the power washer. We used Killum in the past, and they did no where the amount of work as this company, and with the $200 off initial savings, this is WELL worth it.

We had an interim service performed by Abraham M on May 28, 2020. This was the first time we had ever requested a reapplication between the regularly scheduled quarterly treatments, and it was requested specifically to deal with a problem with sugar ants. Mr. M was very courteous and took the time to explain what he could do, as well as what he could not do due to the Covid-19 protocols. He worked efficiently and did an admirable job.

It was quite sudden as Ruben came to my door, convinced me to sign up, and the techs came shortly afterward. I've had pest control in recent years but it seemed like a waste of money. Ruben said Aptive will do more than my previous company did, especially when it came to keeping rodents from getting in. Ruben wore a mask, but it was down most of the time, which defeats the purpose. He had to show me contract details on his tablet but didn't pull his mask up when he came closer. He also wasn't wearing gloves and wanted me to sign & initial things. I asked if it could be done online and he said yes. He's a good salesman and was very nice. The techs, Frederick and Demitrius, didn't introduce themselves, weren't wearing masks when they came to the door, and didn't try to keep what I feel is a safe distance back. Frederick had to borrow a ladder at one point and came into my garage to get it. As he brought it out, he accidentally hit my car with it. Turns out he hit the tire, thankfully, but he seemed a little careless. When he was getting some wasp nests down, he knocked a bunch of moss off the roof. No big deal but I thought they'd pick it up. There was a general lack of professionalism, not terrible, but there's a lot of room for improvement, especially with the social distancing and safety measures on the part of all 3 employees.

Rang my doorbell. When iI opened the door, he stepped back (6 ft or more) and told me he was here for servicing. Asked me if it was okay that he had a trainee with him. I said yes thank you. He proceeded to spray around the house. As I watched through certain windows that look out to the yard, he is giving instruction to the trainee on how to do the job right. He came back to the door to let me know that he had completed the job and if I had any other concerns. I told him no and THANK YOU. Great job by this young man.

Things did not start out well. Had it not been for him, I would be calling the company to change my decision about going with them. Initial call representative asked some general questions and then transferred to a tech to schedule the appointment (or I thought it was a tech at first). I told them the services I was thinking (scorpions, spiders, ants (possibly carpenter ants) and mosquitoes. First rep said great but we do not treat carpenter ants but I can transfer you to a tech. I agreed. Tech says, yes we treat them but technically cannot warranty work because they are so damaging. However, our treatments will most likely kill or deter them. I scheduled the appointment for the next day in the afternoon. I get an appt confirmation but did not see it until I got off of work. It was too late to call then.... they scheduled me for a 10-12 slot. I have even told the rep scheduling I could not do a.m. because I had a banking appointment. I called the next morning and they could not adjust appointments same day. ugh! of course as soon as i leave the guy shows up. Then I get a call from son (who stayed home to meet them) saying that they sent an email at some point laying out the things that we agreed on that they would be doing. Technician at the house needed me to sign/acknowledge receipt of it before he could start. I had never received the email. They finally resent the email but it was after I left the bank. It was very frustrating and distracting trying to take care of this while I am in a refinance closing appointment on my home! My son calls back later to say that the company does not treat for mosquitoes and that they are not treating inside the home because of Covid. I was so flustered at this point. Dont get me wrong I understand the Covid thing but why was that not disclosed when I was on the phone call initially asking questions and setting things up??? Fortunately I got home as the technician, John(ny) was finishing up. This was the upside of the visit. John was so professional. He was very attentive and understanding with my frustrations on the lack of communication. He is very personable and very much a customer service person.Time will tell if there treatments will work to get rid of the pests but again, John was great!

Wonderful and rapid response to a somewhat choppy start. Our technician did exactly what was needed for our vole infestation; applied repellent crystals and placed additional bait stations around the perimeter.
