Juliette (Aptive Service Pro) was on time and very professional throughout the service visit. She introduced herself and explained what she would do during the Aptive treatment process. Juliette was very thorough in performing the inspection and applying the treatment to my property. She answered all my questions and I would definitely request to have Juliette perform future Aptive treatments to my property. I would recommend Aptive to my friends and neighbors.

Our technician was thorough and cooperative. Fifteen minutes after he left, we had a torrential down pour. I called customer service to ask if the rain would affect the application. She said that it would if the product didn't have a half hour to dry and should probably be reapplied-free of charge. She scheduled another application. I'm happy about that.

I was provided a service today as never before. All that was included was never offered by any other company. Spraying around the base of the house. Problem bugs within the house and garage. Also about 30' around perimeter of house for fleas and ticks. I cant be more pleased with the service provided by two young men Jose and Guillermo who were very thorough and courteous...They explained the services and were very knowledgeable They also reminded me that if I see insects after a week and a half I should call them and they would come back free of charge! A happy camper I am!

I had a problem with wasps nesting in my weep holes. I called Aptive Environmental up, and they came out in a few days to deal with the problem. They killed them with a canned spray, and then drenched the other weep holes with a solution. The technician said if we see them again, just let them know. Because it was between my schedule service, it was all covered under warranty and it was free. Couldn't be more happier.

I'm so thankful that Larry was willing to be flexible on such a hot and heavily scheduled day. I usually have outdoor service but since I have a wall with sheet rock partially cut out of it due to a flood, I asked Larry to come in and spray in that wall while it was open. I wanted to take advantage of the access to inside of a wall where ants have been known to go in the past. Larry was very accomodating and came inside and did the extra work for us graciously. I really appreciate the extra service from Aptive employees such as Larry especially without extra notice. Thanks Larry!

Ron came to the door, introduced himself and carefully described the services that he was about to perform. He then proceeded to carefully apply the chemicals all the way around the house and in two interior places where ants had been seen. Once all the treatment was completed, he came back to the door and reviewed the work he had done and asked me to contact him if a follow-up treatment was needed before the next scheduled treatment.

This was my 1st treatment visit with Aptive Environmental for outdoor pest control. I was impressed with their Service Professional Zack H. I walked around property with him & he pointed out key areas he would treat & why; and areas he would need to back off of a ways such as my little pond. I was impressed with how well he could describe how the treatment process works & the products used. VERY ENVIRONMENTAL!! No harsh chemicals. OK for pets. Zack answered all my questions clearly & professionally.

Richard was the technician today. He was on time. He called to tell me when he was arriving. We discussed what I needed to have done . My concerns were the fire ants and fleas. He said he could not treat my front yard. It is open space and dogs may walk on the grass. He said the back yard was ok . He called Aptive and was told he could treat my front yard for fleas and ticks excluding about 3 ft. Back from the road. He did an excellent job and I was impressed he called the office to discuss my front yard. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you Richard.

I'm very satisfied with this service, they let me know what all they will do and so far got rid of my wasp problem and treated around the house. I have a lot of lizards around the house that I didn't want to loose so I was happy that they were able to help me with that. I was also told if the wasp come back to just call and they will come back at no charge within the 30 days of treatment.

Sales: Camille did a cold call, but I needed to have some pavement ant issues taken care of. She was informative and patient. Aptive does want you to commit immediately, but there is a 3 day cancellation regulation that can protect you. First Service: Brandon B showed up promptly, explained the chemicals and how they are applied, discussed the payments. He then applied the treatments for pavement ants in my backyard patio. All went smoothly. Too early to tell if effective.

Yesterday, I was visited by a delightful sales representative (Jackson P) and he made me feel right at ease about getting service from Adaptive. He was very personable and knowledgable! Today, I was visited by a technician (Gregory F) and he took good care of removing a wasp nest and getting rid of the spider webs. He treated my home as well. I feel at ease, knowing that me and my pets are safe from pests. Thank you for providing such excellent service!

Just had my first service today which was complementary for signing up. Justin O was may technician. He was very polite and professional. He asked me if I were getting the inside of the house treated because he wanted to start there first. I said I wanted the basement done since I had been seeing some spiders and bugs so he went back to his truck and got shoe covers to protect my carpets. After he completed treated the basement he proceeded to treat the outside.

The time window for my appointment was 8:00am-10:00 am. I called the day before to make sure that I was the first person of the day cause I had to leave the house by 9 am. Tim called me at 7.15 telling me that he was on his way. I was so happy that he made the effort to come out early to accommodate my schedule, I couldn't ask for a better service. Also, Tim was very kind and knowledgable. I also appreciate him being considerate of putting up shoe covers before walking into the house

Our technician, Brandon, did a great job. He answered all of our questions, took care of special requests, and helped ensure the safety of our pets while servicing our home. The salesman, Brady, was also VERY helpful and knowledgeable. The fact that they will come right back between regularly scheduled visits to treat any recurring bug issues, free of charge, is one of the many reasons we chose this company. Can't wait to enjoy our bug free home!!!

Andrew did a fantastic job and really went above and beyond in my opinion today. We have a pile of trash we are putting in a roll off dumpster so I expressed my concern about the bees I stirred up yesterday. He made sure to spray all areas of the pile and even put some of the really infested pieces in the dumpster himself. I really appreciate his help and eagerness to be sure he got all of the problem areas around our property.

Richard G. was my Aptive service technician today and he did an outstanding job taking care of my pest control needs. He listened to me explain the issues I was having and then immediately started to spray in specific areas to stop the issue. Additionally, he did an extremely thorough job taking down all the annoying spider webs outside my house, especially on my deck and fence area. I was really happy with his "can-do" attitude and his eagerness to help. I would like him to be assigned to my account on a permanenet basis.

Literally after the first service in June my kitchen, specifically got infested by ants, beyond frustrating. The young that came out was very attentive. He look at every detailed I showed him. The pest control treatment was adequate but not exceptional which is what I had hoped to see happen during the interior portion of yesterday’s service at our home. We have had competing national pest control service providers treat our home in past months and years which causes our residence to be generally free of most pests because we do value and rely on professional pest control services to keep it that way. The rating is only 4 Stars because I did not see the technician make the extra effort to spay behind or under areas that could and should have easily been treated. We have high standards and expectations. My hope is that the next treatment fully reflects the high standards that we have and I believe are also held by the Aptive workforce!

He went through the service agreement and explained as he went along on his phone where I read and initialed. I spoke to him about the areas that really needed attention due to my ant problem. He treated all the areas that needed to be treated. Please be sure he receives the $5.00 bonus for a job well done.

This is a professional company which notifies you of service due. They announce themselves upon arrival and check to see if you require additional service that day. They let you know when they are leaving. Ben, my service agent on July 10, 2019 was outstanding from beginning to end. These are great people who take pride in their work and respect their customers. Initially I was not impressed by the service provided, BUT when I expressed my concerns to the sales rep I set my appointment with he was very accomodating. He was close by when I called so he came by the house to take a look at the issues I was having and promptly noted the areas of concern. He put in a re-service ticket to have my issues addressed and the Service Tech, who did the actual work, was also still close to the area, and came back to fix the problems. This time I was more invovled with the process, my issues where taken care of, and I was given more education on what the service will be like over the next year. This changed the game from considering canceling the service all together, to feeling good about continuing the service for the entire term of 1 yr. Thank you to Service Pro - James and to Sales Lead - Jose for going above and beyond and spending the time to ease my concerns and feel more confident with the service. Keep it up guys.

This is a review of the employee applying the pest control. The technician did a through job of spraying for pest treating all of the areas that I requested. He was friendly, professional, helpful and very attentive to details. He treated all of the areas that I requested of him. I am a new customer, so I reserve judgment on performance until I can see the results that the chemicals did the job of getting rid of the pest.

Excellent experience with Aptive. The technician was running a bit late. He called to make sure he could still come over and complete the service. The first day of the scheduled service the fence to the back was inadvertently locked. The tech completed the front yard service, and then they returned to do the back on another day at no charge!!:)

Simultaneously we hope to learn more about how to protect pests on daily base, what kind of pests should be pervented at what time and in what season. He was very informative and nice. He listened to my concerns around my residence and told me the plan on how it will be fixed. He took down wasp nests I didn’t even know I had. And at the end of my service he gave me a report of any thing he did and what to jerk and eye out for afterwards. He told he when my next service will be. At the end I needed him to hold my 10 month old for a moment and he happily obliged. If we could keep the same tech each time that would be great but if not that’s totally understandable. He’s a great tech.

i signed up on july 4,2018 and began to receive my 4 quarterly applications for ants.........as soon as the first application i noticed a great reduction in ant traffic,,,,,,,was very pleased,,,,,,,never needed a free reservice before the next application.........then in the spring of 2019 i noticed some ants again and got worried......so i called for a free reservice application........a service rep. named chris d came to the house and sprayed all around the house and even did some extra spots along the border of my yard and gave me a lot of good information.........he did a great job and i was extremely pleased the the free reservice. thankyou Aptive for the speedy service...

I’ve had aptive for three years now. They have been an incredible company to work with and have always handled my bug issues in a timely manner! I called them because I thought I had a termite problem, turns out I had a major ant infestation in my garage. After opening up the inside garage wall aptive came and sprayed and within a week all the ants were dead. They even come between services when my wife starts to see something near the end of our quarterly visit at no additional charge.

Bad and inaccurate sales tactics. Service did not work after 5 applications, could not cancel without several heated phone calls, and they charged a 200 cancelation fee. All sale pitch lies to get the business.

I canceled the service in January, but was billed $85.30 on July 1. Called on July 16—refund promised but never received. Then got charged another $85.30 on July 31. $170.60 taken with no refund. Billing department is unreliable and untrustworthy. If you value honest billing and responsive customer service, be very cautious.

SCAM!! They come spray and it does NOT work. Then when you've had several different sprays and it doesn't work, good luck canceling their crappy service. They charge you $199 to cancel. They expect you to hold up your end of the deal by paying the cancelation fee but they don't hold up their end of the deal by providing services that actually work.

I called in and canceled my service. I was still charged why. I called in and talked to someone waited on hold for 30 plus minutes to be told a manager would call me back in 10 minutes and reimburse my money. I never got a call back. I called back 1 hour later for someone to tell me I am not getting my money back and I would get a call back from a manager it’s the next day and still no call back. The call was recorded when I called in to cancel my service which I clearly stated i want to cancel my service.

I signed up for a one-time service. The technician came to my home and performed the service for exactly 14 minutes, which included 2 minutes of talking with me on at my front door. They proceeded to waive a wand around my yard and walk around the perimeter of my house. The service was completely ineffective. This company has fradualent business practices. Do not use them.

If I could give less than one star I would. I have more bug bites than ever. They don't show when they say they do. I have ants, moles, tics, and mosquitos. They have not helped in any way whatsoever. Then you get a call and are told how they are going to help. But no one shows and when they do they focus on everything but what you wanted. They actually hung things to attract mosquitos where we play corn hole and volleyball. My old company never had to be called back. They came once a month and we had no issues.

This is a shit termites period. They are unprofessional, their poison doent kill cockroaches, they keep charging you month to month even though they don't appear at your place to do the service. There customer service doesn't have one single person to br in charge for the service. Other day I stay over an hour on the phone trying to resolve the problem. They overcharge you if you don't keep your eyes open and check your account. They are awful. I tried to hire the Orkin company,I don't know why my call was directed to this shit company. They're rats,not honest company.

Con artists, the sold my wife a one time service and if we liked it we could sign up. The copy and pasted her signature on 2 year premium contract and signed us up for auto pay. After many calls and threat of legal action we got out of it. 💯 illegal what they did. Do your research and you will see nothing but bad and illegal tactics from this shitty company

I had the sales representative stop by my house on Saturday. He promised that the people would visit every month during the warmer months and less often when it go cold. He stated that they now spray three feet up from the base boards around the perimeter, and he stated that they spray at the top where they dust away the spider webs. When the tech showed up he presented the contract, the price quoted by sales covered nothing promised and the tech stated that none of the procedures I described were true. The sales rep said they prided themselves in communication and gave a big speech about it, but every word that came out of his mouth turned out to be false. If this is the Aptive way of trying to secure business, they are going to have trouble moving forward. The sales guy promises one thing, then the tech shows up a few days later and says "Hey, you forgot to go over the contract with sales. Here it is."... and then the paperwork is nothing what the sales team promised. Very dishonest. Luckily I was able to send the guy away before he did any work. This was in San Jose, CA on May 17th, 2025 when this all happened.

Very disappointed with customer service representative. Call in today to decide not to continue my service with Aptive Environmental. Well during call I was told I have to meet my 2-year agreement. My reply was I've had service with you for over 3 years. Only thing I ever did was call for a lower price. Which when I made this call I got locked back into a 2-year agreement apparently without my knowledge. Closed out my old account and started a new one. Further both the representative on the call and her manager told me I only had one contract with them the excising one. Manager boldly said give me the old account number then. Which they had no idea that they were talking with career Human Resources representative. I keep a copy of everything. Now once I read the old account number to them miraculously the manager had the ability to find my old account. Now this is after she Boldly told me she looks in all locations for my name, email address, and phone number. To add more insult after all this I still have to pay the penalty to leave a service I never signed up for again. Good luck, but after this today I recommend keeping copies of everything you can with Aptive Enviornmental.

The door-to-door salesperson who showed up at my home was overly pushy and took far too long to come to terms with the fact that I was not interested in signing a contract. My interaction with him (the most uncomfortable one I've had with a door-to-door salesperson) makes me completely uninterested in considering Aptive in the future. Some of his comments and questions were irrelevant, unnecessary, and as was the case with a previous reviewer (Danielle C), disrespectful towards women. When I made it clear that I don't make decisions like signing pest control contracts without discussing with my wife first, his response to attempt to get me to sign something immediately was "if there's one thing I know about the ladies, it's that they don't like bugs and they like a good deal", and "you have a mortgage and car payments, this is just pest control, man". At one point, he even asked me to go get my credit card, and no salesperson has ever said that to me before. Nor has any salesperson before this one ever asked me where I'm from. I understand that there's always going to be an element of pushiness with this sales approach and it can often yield success, but my honest feedback to Aptive would be to examine the potential detrimental impact going about this without sufficient tact can have on their business.

I went with this company thinking everything would be okay, first off they don't come like i was told initially from the start, I was told they would come back every week if they had to make sure we were bug free, everything sounded good to you signed that contract, and then the attitudes come from the office from their customer service reps, I had issues with spiders and had lots of issues with mosquitoes I contacted them I was told they'd be back in 2 to 3 weeks I said I was told you guys would come back to the very next week if it wasn't fixed that wasn't the case, they're rude and just want money and that's all they really care about, they talked me into putting down some snake stuff some brown powder I asked him several times even the office this is safe for pets am I correct they stated it was my dogs got into it I guess around the yard but he really wasn't around the yard that they got into it their tech left a black bucket full of it behind my house I found that later on when my dogs were drinking out of it after it rained one of my dogs passed away wasn't exactly sure what it's from wasn't worth trying to figure it out, the other one was vomiting for almost 4 days we were so scared that we were going to lose him thank God we didn't, I contacted them and let him know their answer was well it's supposed to be snake away and it is safe for your dogs so we don't understand what happened we'll just take it off your bill still charge me for that one session. What's to be honest with you did nothing because we did find a copperhead underneath our deck thank God we were able to use a stick and get rehome him to the woods , this has been one nightmare and then they hold over your head at 200 bill I wonder if they want to pay the vet bills. I definitely would stay away from these guys they're not professional they don't seem to know what they're doing.

Aptiv had been overall hit or miss for us. We get some great technicians and service at times (recommend Sasha!) and other times the service has been really bad (technicians trying to come very late at night to do a treatement, missing appointments, being disconnected when on the phone line or long wait times). I hope the company rewards its good employees and continues to improve!
