Dagoberto is an asset to your company. He respected the customer by keeping social distancing. Very neat and professional uniform. Inquired how our service has been, and took notes on our concerns. Then he reiterated what he was going to do. After he was done, he came back to us, to explain what was done, and if there was anything else he can do. He gave us a big smile and gave his farewell.

It was quite sudden as Ruben came to my door, convinced me to sign up, and the techs came shortly afterward. I've had pest control in recent years but it seemed like a waste of money. Ruben said Aptive will do more than my previous company did, especially when it came to keeping rodents from getting in. Ruben wore a mask, but it was down most of the time, which defeats the purpose. He had to show me contract details on his tablet but didn't pull his mask up when he came closer. He also wasn't wearing gloves and wanted me to sign & initial things. I asked if it could be done online and he said yes. He's a good salesman and was very nice. The techs, Frederick and Demitrius, didn't introduce themselves, weren't wearing masks when they came to the door, and didn't try to keep what I feel is a safe distance back. Frederick had to borrow a ladder at one point and came into my garage to get it. As he brought it out, he accidentally hit my car with it. Turns out he hit the tire, thankfully, but he seemed a little careless. When he was getting some wasp nests down, he knocked a bunch of moss off the roof. No big deal but I thought they'd pick it up. There was a general lack of professionalism, not terrible, but there's a lot of room for improvement, especially with the social distancing and safety measures on the part of all 3 employees.

Rang my doorbell. When iI opened the door, he stepped back (6 ft or more) and told me he was here for servicing. Asked me if it was okay that he had a trainee with him. I said yes thank you. He proceeded to spray around the house. As I watched through certain windows that look out to the yard, he is giving instruction to the trainee on how to do the job right. He came back to the door to let me know that he had completed the job and if I had any other concerns. I told him no and THANK YOU. Great job by this young man.

Things did not start out well. Had it not been for him, I would be calling the company to change my decision about going with them. Initial call representative asked some general questions and then transferred to a tech to schedule the appointment (or I thought it was a tech at first). I told them the services I was thinking (scorpions, spiders, ants (possibly carpenter ants) and mosquitoes. First rep said great but we do not treat carpenter ants but I can transfer you to a tech. I agreed. Tech says, yes we treat them but technically cannot warranty work because they are so damaging. However, our treatments will most likely kill or deter them. I scheduled the appointment for the next day in the afternoon. I get an appt confirmation but did not see it until I got off of work. It was too late to call then.... they scheduled me for a 10-12 slot. I have even told the rep scheduling I could not do a.m. because I had a banking appointment. I called the next morning and they could not adjust appointments same day. ugh! of course as soon as i leave the guy shows up. Then I get a call from son (who stayed home to meet them) saying that they sent an email at some point laying out the things that we agreed on that they would be doing. Technician at the house needed me to sign/acknowledge receipt of it before he could start. I had never received the email. They finally resent the email but it was after I left the bank. It was very frustrating and distracting trying to take care of this while I am in a refinance closing appointment on my home! My son calls back later to say that the company does not treat for mosquitoes and that they are not treating inside the home because of Covid. I was so flustered at this point. Dont get me wrong I understand the Covid thing but why was that not disclosed when I was on the phone call initially asking questions and setting things up??? Fortunately I got home as the technician, John(ny) was finishing up. This was the upside of the visit. John was so professional. He was very attentive and understanding with my frustrations on the lack of communication. He is very personable and very much a customer service person.Time will tell if there treatments will work to get rid of the pests but again, John was great!

The service person, Don, was polite and informed me about the service he was to provide. He reviewed the specifics of the program services and the costs involved.After he had finished his explanation he began the exterior cleaning of surfaces. He then came into the house and sprayed the baseboards. When he was finished he reviewed their upcoming visits. He was professional, polite and friendly.

Wonderful and rapid response to a somewhat choppy start. Our technician did exactly what was needed for our vole infestation; applied repellent crystals and placed additional bait stations around the perimeter. Anthony was wonderful. He was on time, thorough and professional. Anthony took great care and went above and beyond to not only follow me around my yard while I pointed out vegetables and butterfly plants but took his time to not spray these plants. If it were possible to request the same technician for every visit, Anthony would be the first name on my list.

We are in a strange state of social distancing and while he wasn't wearing a mask or gloves he kept a healthy distance between us at all times. Kyle and Robert came to spray our home today, but being an avid gardener, I had questions about the pesticides they were going to use. I found out that Kyle, also an avid gardener, completely understood my concerns, and both technicians did a wonderful job to protect my gardens and the critters that live in them. They just sprayed the perimeter of my home for ants, which is just what I wanted. I appreciate the time they took to hear my concerns, and took care to protect my plants and the lizards that live here. Great job Robert and Kyle!

However this last time they were a bit blunt, short, and non responsive. And I am more than happy to list my tech by name because he was wonderful, however the email I received for the completion of the treatment didn’t list his name. But overall I am still very happy with the company.

I called Aptive last Friday and told them I had seen some ants on the kitchen window sill. they explained that I was having my quarterly service done that next Monday. They had their service representative make sure to treat the area behind my house ,below the kitchen window, for the ants. He also left my several " sticky " traps that I could use if I needed them. He told me to call back after two weeks if it was necessary. The serviceman's name was Gus D.

Our service was exceptional. A couple of weeks ago, a service representative was unable to spray our backyard because our gates were locked. With new precautions, we did not know the representative was outside the front of our house since they do not ring the doorbell at this time. Yesterday, to representatives came back to treat our backyard and redid the front yard in certain areas because of the recent rain. The service was exceptional. We highly recommend this company.

Bob came today to do my treatment. I can't believe he cleaned my pool screens. I have never seen anyone do that. I am not saying they haven't because I might have not been home, but I was blown away that he did that. I couldn't thank him enough. I told him everywhere I was concerned and he went above and beyond. He also told me those hanging things from the pool screens were tiny spider. I did not know that! Yuck! Aptive has done an excellent job since they started a couple years ago. I'm scheduled for another treatment tomorrow and the last one is still working very well. I swept about 100 dead or dying "flying corn nuts" (as my stepson likes to call them) from my front door yesterday, among various other ground bugs. I keep my porch light on for security reasons and it certainly attracts them. Today there are about 70 more. Now that's a treatment that lasts. Thank you Jose and Aptive for the great job.

he did a great job and also installed a box in the back yard for some possible rat droppings that might indicate rats in my shed. Anyone who comes to treat my yard in the future, because it is different every time, needs to be sure the gate is closed completely so my dogs won't get out. We had a lot of difficulty getting one of them back in the yard today. thanks

He also recommended adding 3 more bait boxes and increasing my service to monthly (at no extra charge) vs. quarterly since he noticed more rodent activity from his last visit. He unfortunately didn't have extra bait boxes so was unable to provide this service today. Assuming the additional services are inclusive in the quarterly charge, please adjust to monthly servicing.

Leslie G was an excellent tech. and provided great service. He was courteous and explained all of the tasks that he would perform. He also serviced my second story balcony. Furthermore he reminded me of the benefits of the service such as the free call backs if I had any problems. If possible, I would always want him to provide my Aptive service.

Ok, you employee showed up on time.  He came in to the screened porche, sprayed and set-up traps for the stink bugs and went under the porche and sprayed there too. The employee even went around the house and treated the entire outside and with long brush removed all spider webs. 1/16/20 We had a rat problem in the walls of the house. The tech who came out was great. (don't know her name. The Hyperlink to the review for her is broken) She sized up the situation and took quick action. Because of the structure of the house the location she had to get to was very difficult. It was a pleasure meeting Shawn. He rang the bell to let me know that he'd be walking around the house doing the treatment which I greatly appreciated since I forgot Aptive was coming. He took the time to explain to me that while they didn't "spray" when it was so cold out they did put something inside the siding (can't remember exactly how he described it) to deter pests. He was pleasant and patient in explaining things then did his work efficiently and departed. There need to be more Shawn's out there in the service world.

I would of given you a 5 but your company has missed my tri semester service TWO times ( one of which just happened this year). I noticed an over abundance of spiders and spider webs, eggs sacs, food droppings, etc. in my garage and in my backyard last month. I called your co. and my records showed that you were last out here in July 2019 and 4 months had already passed. The other time you skipped my service was in 2017. I hope you don't skip my service again as its twice as much work for both you and I. Thank you. I want to give a 5 star to the representative Brandon who came out here. Tim was extremely professional and thorough during the service visit at our house. He was knowledgeable and explained the chemicals that he was using inside and outside our house and why those were being used. Tim also reminded us not to let our dog outside for at least 20-30 minutes after he departed to let the chemicals outside properly dry before the dog went on the grass and outside areas. I would highly recommend.

I called Aptive Environmental to come out between services bc I saw scorpions on the porch. They came out the very next day. Stephen did an outstanding job spraying and treating everything, even the whole back yard! I couldn't be happier with the service. He explained what he did and precocion we should take with our puppy before treated area is safe. I'm very happy with the service!

Sam was very efficient laying traps and identifying/closing vulnerabilities in the house, both internally and externally. Sam explained everything throughout the process and showed us pictures of the issues that need to be addressed to prevent future problems. Sam was very professional and seemed trustworthy. Tim C was my technician this appointment and this guy goes above and beyond. Not only does he provide a thorough, well-animated explanation of the services performed and to be performed, Tim went out of his way to take care of eliminating a few hidden hornet nests. I have children and pets and this has been a concern of mine if they would be stung. I reccomend Mr. C and Aptive Environmental's services!
