I had no idea when this second service was going to happen and asked Andy to make sure that my garage was on the order. What is going on with unmet promises?

First they didn't return for the initial follow-up within the month they were supposed to. As the 2nd month closed I had to call them. They still didn't come out on the day they said they would. Came the next day, when no one was home so they couldn't do the inside. Took a lot of times trying to contact them to finally get them back here 2 weeks later. It wasn't worth all the hassle though, as they made things worse instead of better. We now have ants in the house--that we did NOT have before. Also, the hornets nest in our front bushes that the man was supposed to get rid of we don't believe he treated at all! Just a few days later, it was even bigger and had more hornets, etc. in it. Even when their people finally do come out, they don't seem to actually do anything; except make any and all bug situations even worse. They haven't resolved any of our issues; again have only served to worsen all of them! Their treatments seem to attract the pests rather than kill them! We feel that they need to let us out of this year contract now, even though it's been 3 months; without the early withdrawal penalties since they clearly can not fulfill their duties to exterminate the bugs in our home. They should also Refund what we have paid them, since they've only made the problems worse and Not actually helped rid us of any of these bugs at all. We have had to re-treat everything ourselves, so our payment to them has been useless. They owe us to get out of the contract and a refund for the payments we have made.

While service being done, I had to move curtains and boxes aside for tech to get to areas being sprayed. While in one large closet area I spilled something and technician just stood there staring - offering no type of help, I told him to go spray another room while I cleaned up. I had to open storage doors, turn on light switches. I did not feel comfortable with this tech in my home. This was first inside application since we just moved here in June. I felt like I was a bother to him.

Not the best first impressions. Missed my appointment completely Sprayed a random neighbors house instead. Called customer service and get an answering machine. Get a return call that evening to reschedule the appointment you missed. Technician gets to the appointment on time. Discuss my pest problems with technician and learn Aptive treats all problems with one product. Specifically ask to address specific pest problems and the answers I get are oh we can’t do that or oh we don’t do that. How do you treat hornets I ask and the response is well if we see a nest I knock it down. Do you spray or treat the areas active. Oh no we cannot spray product overhead. I have had pest services in the past that come to the job with a multitude of products each with its specific purpose. Dusting nests and active areas etc. Your treatment plan for knocking down the nest is fairly ineffective. Once the technician started to spray I’m pretty confident you did about the bare minimum. Did he treat the foundation area. Yep and that’s about it. I think you guys used about $2.00 in product at my site and spent 15 minutes. And to put a nice cherry on top as I right this response my wife asked me why we just got triple charged from Aptive. Sure enough I look and 3x the amount agreed upon. Attempted to remedy the situation again with the wonderful customer service you provide with the same results , answering machine. It’s safe to say I need a call fro a human that can briefly discuss my concerns with your business. It’s safe to say we will not continue our relationship together under these Conditions. I am very frustrated at the moment. I was told I was going to get great service and three times the service I was receiving at echo shield. We are starting off on the wrong foot. The initial service for the back yard took less than 20 minutes today. I asked the technician if he set the rat traps and granulated the yard he said no. He said he would do that. I left the house and came back and he was gone. He didn’t granulate the front or back lawn. I asked the technician about treating for grub worms. He didn’t know what that was. He really didn’t know why he was here. He didn’t treat the inside house. I am hoping that the future services I don’t have to present and stand over the technicians. As of right now I am not satisfied with the initial service. I still see webs around the house.

Salesman took picture of a signed blank check. Today email said there was an issue. Need to see how to pay. Should I mail the check? Guy did ok. Expected all baseboards and not just outside doors and bath/kitchen. I thought that was a little different. It certainly didn't take long. I think it's pricey but if it works, I'm happy.

I was told by one of your salespersons, Colby C, who knocked on my door this evening that he is selling pest protection plans. He told me that initial service would cost me $29.00 and quarterly service $85. When I told him that I don't want his service, he offered me a free initial service with $0 cancellation fee. After providing my signature for one time free service, he told me that the cancellation fee will be $250. When I said I don't want his initial service anymore, he told me that I don't have to worry about paying Aptive because he canceled the agreement on his iPad. I emailed Aptive and shared the salesperson's name with them. I'm afraid they're in the practice of deceiving customers so they can get their signatures on their iPads. I also told them if we start receiving invoices from Aptive, we'll reach out to BBB to file a complaint.

My wife told me that when you came out the second time that the bait trap wasn’t set right originally and that he had to set it properly and there was no sticker on it that was done on June 17 the day we started this service. That’s the first problem. The second problem was when they came out today he never even made it to the backyard and got charged $49 on June 17 and another $109 today for absolutely nothing. I am definitely not happy about making this decision on hiring your company definitely not satisfied. I was told when I started this service that it was gonna cost me $49 every three months for regular pest control and that hasn’t even been done. I need to be compensated. I am no longer in need of your so-called service. Thank you have a nice day

Very poor service. Appointment time was “BETWEEN” 8am-12:00PM. NOT 12:30pm !! Tech was late and used excuse “running later with earlier appointment. When called Aptive at 12pm to ask why hasn’t the tech showed up the had no idea and told me they’ll call bk to see where he is. Got a call 5mins later told me that the tech will be at my house in 10mins! Value your time and ours. And when the tech arrived 12:30 it only took him 10mins he didn’t do the webs and when asked to do so he said that he doesn’t do it, asked him to inspect outdoor deck he refused. Very poor experience today. Not happy with the tech attitude- you should change your job if you don’t like it.

This is the worst service company I’ve ever used. I don’t know what I was thinking when I agreed to the service. Outrageously overpriced for 15 minutes of tech time and $5 worth of chemicals. I’m glad I have completed my contract and am now done with these “scammers”. They could care less about providing effective service they are purely motivated by maintaining their cash flow. They came to complete service in the winter, January, with a foot of snow on the ground and below zero temps. They tried to give me some bs rationale for its effectiveness. I had to tell them I did not want the service, insist that they leave and not return until April. I called customer service and told them the same. They returned in April on a day it was pouring rain. I declined service and told them not to return until conditions were favorable. They returned in May on a day it was, again pouring. Again, I had to tell them to leave. Now, in July, I received an email that I received my final application was applied. I was home all day, baby sitting my grandson sitting on the porch watching him splash around in a little pool on the driveway and never saw hide nor hair of anyone around the house. They Payment will be disputed and will not be paid. I’m glad is over and I will never do business with them again. I have signed with a local family exterminator, with a great reputation, at 35% of the cost. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

My daughter and I both signed up for Aptive after being assured that the treatment would cover ticks and mosquitos. When I called to request a treatment due to mosquitos in my backyard I was informed that they didn't cover mosquitos because they couldn't effectively spray for them. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was put in touch with a man I believe was named Richard. I explained my situation to him and was told he would speak with his supervisor and get back to me in 15 minutes. I waited for over 2 hours and I called back. The person that answered the phone told me he wasn't at her location but she would get in touch with him and have him call me right back. That was on Friday, today is Tuesday and I'm still waiting. Neither one of us would have signed up for the service without that coverage. Last Bite, Lawn doctor, and Tru green are just a few of the companies that can effectively spray for mosquitos so I don't understand why Aptive isn't able to. My daughter said she wanted to cancel the service if they couldn't spray for mosquitos and was told there was a $200 service charge for canceling. You also have to be careful of their pricing. My rep quoted me a price of $49 for the initial application and $109 for each additional. My daughter , who lives in the same town, is paying $49-$149. Definitely not a company I will be dealing with again.

All I can honestly say about these people is "STAY AWAY FROM THEM". Good for a couple of months & then nothing short of a nightmare. My husband & I both work full time & I clearly made it known that the service would have to be on Saturdays or after 5:30 in the evening. They honored this arrangement maybe twice in a year. All I get now is a bill for services they say they provided when we were not home. Interesting because we have neighbors that have told us that they've witnessed someone driving up in front of our house & never even getting out of the vehicle. We also have cameras at out home that record movement & there is nothing recorded. After the last disputed bill, which I paid just to be done with them, I told them never to return to my home again. Now, it is a repeat performance getting a bill when I told them I was done with them & who knows if any service was even provided. I have no idea how they even stay in business. I intend to dedicate myself to do & say whatever I can to prevent anyone else taken advantage of. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

This is one of the worst companies I ever dealt with . They scam you and actually lie to you. If your smart don’t sign anything. On the first treatment the tech told my wife the first treatment they did was to draw the bugs out and they would be back in a month. When they came back they were suppose to spray the property and around the house and for ticks flees ants and spiders. When the tech came back a month later and sprayed the perimeter of the house only and left. He sent a report and said he did an area 3 ft x 3ft around the house. He sprayed a 3 inch area up against the house I don’t know what school he went too, he sure didn’t pay attention in math. After I called customer service they tried to tell me they didn’t spray the lawn yet because they were still waiting for the bugs to come out ,it’s July 1st what a joke. Told the gentleman on the phone I wanted to cancel and he told me I would have to pay $200.00 to cancel. I told him the salesman told I could cancel anytime if I was not happy with the service. He said the salesman would never say that another lie. They also charged my credit card with out telling me they were going to. When originally sign up and the salesman asked me for my credit card I ask if it was a one time charge and he said yes that the company would send a bill for the next treatment. Don’t trust this company they are horrible.

A solicitor for Aptive arrived at our house to offer a special offer of $50 for initial spraying service. The person told my wife that our neighbor down the street also uses the service and that the technicians will be spraying the neighbors house an hour before our scheduled appointment. This person was bold faced lying. My wife asked our neighbor how they like the service. The neighbor had never used Aptive in the past and had no intention of using their service in the present or future. What a ridiculous thing to lie about. This person also wasn't honest about the $200 cancellation fee for the service he was selling. We canceled the service when we got clarification from the service technician that arrived to do the initial spray. So we aren't paying customers, because we declined to let the service technician perform the service after the shameful dishonesty demonstrated by his colleagues.

WARNING: Reviews are huge… Do you research on this Company before signing anything with them! If you happen to get suckered into it before doing your research, you have three days to cancel… Better cancel before they come, cause they’re not worth it. Your better off going to Lowes or Home Depot and buying the chemicals they sell. I unfortunately was the sucker in this whole ordeal, I was promised by the salesmen Austin H whom told me a bunch of B/S like we’ll get all the spiderwebs in and around your house / property which is what sold me. Heck Yeah and with a great price of only $49.99 for the Initial Service… When it sounds to good to be true it is, if you think you’re getting a great deal with the discount from $249.99 to just $49.99 for the Initial Service ha think again, you’ve just been CONNED he said don’t tell your neighbors what a great deal I just gave you they might get upset with me. That’s the sales pitch he gave me along with what they would do for us, if you try to cancel be prepared to pay the $249.99 and the $49.99 for Nothing. They came out and did they’re Initial Service and Sprayed, where? I’m having a hard time figuring that out!? Not only did we end up with more bugs after they sprayed (not dead, but still very much alive) it was and is very clear that they Completely missed more than half of our property. Photos were taken; however, I shouldn’t have to send them for Aptive to believe me. They should send someone out to see for themselves with that “Guarantee”. Actions are louder than words if you’re going to have this company do work for you be there to supervise them, so you know that what your paying for is being done… We signed with them for prevention and it now looks like we have a bigger bug problem. (The bugs we Currently have and now with Aptive). Totaling $500.00 Dollars for one whole year of Chemicals that are Ineffective or the “Service Professional” being Inadequate is NOT worth it. Aptive, spare me the Typical Copy and Paste “Sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with us. We’re genuinely sorry. We take Customer complaints very seriously. We guarantee our services. Blah, blah, blah Cause what you have to say is CRAP. Aptive, false promises earn ZERO star from me. It’s unfortunate I have to give One star just to warn others.

Had a sales guy cold knock on the door. Wife thought it sounded like a good deal as we have mosquitos. Next day guy comes over and 'sprays house for 5 minutes' saying that was the $5 deal. For the quarterly application it came out roughly $500. To take care of mosquitos in MN when its only summer 4 months of the year. The gentleman stated 1st application will have to wait till yard dries up (this is 25th of May) I call up to state yard is dry and mosquitos are out just to hear from the office that they dont do anything with mosquitoes and that there is a $244 cancelation fee...wth?? I told the gal to place a hold on the account. I cant believe companys can still get away with this stuff!! No way did they do $244 worth of anything.

Gave me a 12 day wait on a reservice to take care of the problem, which would not have been needed if quarterly schedule had been done on time. I called the company in West Chicago to cancel my services. I spoke with Crystal and Robert, neither were very helpful. Robert even told me there was no one higher than him in the company. The service is not working. We have had 2 services and each time I told them about the bees on our porch which is easily accessible. The bees did not die with your power. I still have cobb webs all over my porch. I have We had to call ARMNS Pest control out because your bee powder was not working and my husband is deathly allergic. I will be happy to share the pictures I took. All I want is to cancel the service. Based on the employees in West Chicago, I would say you do not back your product. Robert kept saying "Our product works" well if it does why did I have to have someone else get rid of the bees. And why do I need to dust the cobwebs myself? I am hoping someone can contact me soon. I am not happy with the service, the product or the customer service. I tried calling the corporate office and phone just rang. I tries the online option three times and received an error all there times. They do not back the product and I do not recommend.
