I applied for a deferred interest financial account via one of the furniture stores in Florida. They refused my application because I paid my previous account with them in time and did'nt give them any opportunity to milk me for interest ................ Avoid . Customer service lady was very short and abrupt.

Fraud! Do not do any financing through MySynchrony. Paying on a card for years, more than the minimum balance monthly, yet my current balance is still higher than my initial purchase 3 years ago and they are charging interest on top of interest.

Worst customer service ever. Never received an item and opened a dispute. It took them a year to figure things out and by then they said it has been over 120 days and they cannot issue refund, even though I initiated the dispute within 14 days of initial purchase.

Lowered my credit limit drastically after I paid off the balance from $1000 to 250. Of course the didn't offer to put it back. I closed the account. Now you lost a customer. Just make sure that 0 bal shows up on my credit report first.

I have never been treated this way at all!! They have now closed 2 accounts and lowered 2 of my cards limits. Just awful!! I have always paid on time!!

Takes 4-7 days to get your money transferred to your external accounts, other online banks do it in 1-2 days. Customer service personnel on the phone are okay, I'm pretty sure they are in a different county though.

I brought a trailer lock from Amazon. I turned it Amazon refunded my money synchrony bank still claiming I never returned it! The gift card money was refunded to Amazon. My credit card balance still holds the charges! It’s been months. I’m thinking of not paying nothing!

After canceling a couple of extra payments, I still paid off most of my Pay Pal Credit account with Synchrony Bank. However, the bank some weeks later has suddenly increased my credit limit and closed my account IN THE SAME DAY, without notifying me.

I have 3 accounts never late, always OVER pay on the ONE that have a balance and suddenly when I have to provide photo ID and video of myself I can in NO way get credit for furniture with a high 700 credit score and good standing with other accounts thru this company.

Do not use this banks credit card . I paid my credit card payment online and somehow they took my payment out twice. It was a pretty large amount and now they are giving me a run around to get my second payment back . They clearly took it out twice and now they want a bank statement to show what I paid it twice even though they got paid twice.

This is by far the worst bank to deal with. Lowered my limit by 75% stating I do not use thier services enough. So now my debt to income ratio is out of wack. They also stated I am no longer a good risk because I no longer have an active mortgage. Shame on all of us who pay bills on time, do not abuse credit cards, and respect credit period.

Completely useless, and ended up ending our chat session abruptly after I told them I'd be closing my account. Awful.

Credit line started at $800. Made all payments on time to them and all creditors. Made a payment for $200 and then they reduce the credit line to $510. Balance is now $226. Made a payment for $70. They reduced credit line to $250. Customer service is useless. The card is not worth the space in my wallet.

They report to your bureaus before the statement comes out. So, if you plan on paying the full balance before the statement, whatever you charged will still be reported to the bureaus. I don't like that and will not use thieir credit card unless it's an emergency.

Wouldn’t give them a 1 stair. Don’t ever use them. Twice now unfortunately I got financed through them. Both times half way through the loan they lower your credit limit under what you still owe and put you over limit and it hurts your credit score. Avoid at all costs. I will be calling the better business bureau.

You give them the ref number the app gives. They say that the ref number does not match record. Which is b.s. synchrony bank is another B.s. bank do illegal crap. Stay away.

I have NEVER missed a credit card payment, and they lowered the limit on three of my credit cards. Therefore affecting my credit score with lower spending limits. They claimed it was due to higher balances on my cards. Excuse the us all for Covid messing with our financial situations. Would never recommend them to anyone.

Worst experience I have ever dealt with. They don't honor payment arrangements. They don't alert you when a dispute is up and your payments resume. They don't take notes of your calls and can't warm transfer so you get ping ponged around with zero help.

They cancels 2 cards and reduced a third card to 250.00 credit. This company is the pits! Don't bother with them as they will make your credit score drop when they cancel their cards.

Beware! They will gradually decrease credit limits and then out of nowhere close accounts. My score suffered over 100 point ding. I’ve NEVER made a late payment. I’ve always doubled up on payments and out of nowhere, 3/4 lines were decreased and 1 closed.

I signed up for paperless statements and have excellent credit and was never notified by email of payment that was due after signing up for paperless statements. The balance due was $21 and they billed me for a $24 late fee. I cancelled my account. Very sleazy company. Do not recommend them.

Bank ran credit when they were unable to verify identification. Credit took a hit AND they rejected the application because they were unable to verify identity. I am currently discussing the situation with them and looking for others that have had this happen. I am looking to possibly file a class action lawsuit.

After making a payment, my account was placed on hold for 12 days. The reason? Because I paid before my due date!!! Really!!! My payment is due on the 7th of each month and I paid on the 23rd and for that I’m penalized. This bank has some crazy rules. They get mad because you pay early. What a JOKE!!!
