Very communicative and always answer questions. Just do a little bit more upfront communication on rates to make your buyers feel a lot more warm and fuzzy. If and when you're quoting interest rates, you should be upfront when you're buying down the points to get that interest rate at the beginning and not towards the end. So my interest rate's 8, and you're putting in your contract that I need to pay another $5,400 to buy my interest rate down. And you quote me 7.4. I think that should be upfront that this is what your interest rate is and this is what you're buying down. Instead of just getting quoted saying, hey, your interest rate 7.6 (I had no clue that we had to buy down the points to get to that interest rate).

I think they did a great job. They call you right back as soon as they can and they'll even work with you if it's after hours or whatever. If it's hard for you to get a hold of them while you're working or whatever, they'll wait till after hours or whatnot. I liked the terms and loan and after we figured out what was going on, it was pretty easy to get it going forward. But at first they they had to figure out what was all going on on my end, because it was a land contract that they bought out. So it was a little bit different than a normal loan.

It was just a very efficient process and I was very well informed as I went through the process. Good communication from each of the individuals with whom I worked. Gregory W, who was my initial contact with AmeriSave, was very, very accommodating in helping to get me the best possible rate given that rates had gone up and I was going through a divorce and was having to refinance in order to get the mortgage back just in my name. And so my rate was increasing - and he worked very closely with me to make sure I got the best rate possible in the worst case scenario.

We got a really good rate. So we're we're definitely pleased. We've had a good experience with it when we've had to call customer support, so they've done an excellent job. The original person we spoke to, Tammy was wonderful. She was very helpful and great. The person that was processing our loan, I think took longer than was necessary because we had to make several calls to outside vendors I guess the title company and the person that was handling that didn't devote their full attention to it.

I did get a great rate based on the appraisal as well as the asking price from the seller, and AmeriSave was able to help me kind of lower that sales price to what would work best for me and AmeriSave. I had direct contact information for everyone that I needed to talk to throughout the process which was very comforting but I knew I was talking to people that already were aware of my situation, never had to call a generic customer service number because of that, which was very comforting and I knew who I was working with. I chose it just because the interest rate was good and you guys were able to lock me out 90 days. I ended up getting a 5.75%, which again, in this markets is a pretty good rate I think. It was just really streamlined and easy. Our loan officer was awesome helping us all the way through. He answered all my questions and I called him about a million times. He always answered and returned my calls, so I'd like to highlight Braxton. It was easy to get in touch with them.

Everything is good. The only thing is the payoff was through a paper check. It created a little hassle. Every time, every time I needed to speak with somebody, they were there. We wanted to stay with the same payment that we had. But we had a error on our credit report that had to repair and that took forever to do. I would talk to one person and they would tell me one thing and then I would talk to somebody else. A couple of people didn't know their information as much as well as they should have. I was trying to get my payment through for my first payment and they told me that I had to do it separately from the automatic payments.

They stay on top of everything that you need to do and make sure that you get it done and make it very simple. Sometimes it gets a little confusing when you have multiple different people dealing with your mortgage and multiple different people calling and emailing you, and sometimes it's easier just to deal with one or two people instead of three to four.
