I'm by myself at home a lot and every time I go to shower I'm scared something might happen. I wanted to have something in case of emergencies, that way I can get to someone even if I can't call 911 or call for help with the phone. That's why I have it. I use it all day long, sometimes on my wrist and sometimes around my neck. I'm just being careful about my health.

It was suggested by my doctor. Customer service talks to me and answers my questions. I don't think the main base it's all that helpful. You need to be within 360 feet for it to hear you and if I happen to fall further away from it I just can't talk to them.

My son picked it for me. I haven't had any reason to use it yet, the only time I talked with customer service was to check the unit once. I'm a bit concerned about the button though. The wrist unit has come off a couple of times while I slept with it. The straps don't seem to hold on that well and if the band slides down your arm or moves a bit, that can evidently unhook the band.

I looked online and, according to consumer ratings, they had the best scores from all the mobile medical alert systems available at the time, so I went with them. They're just about average to be honest. I have one button that works only while I'm at home and I take the other one with me when I'm away from home. I've only really used it for testing purposes or when I sat on the button accidentally. It does take them a long time to respond when I press the button. It's not really an immediate response.

We did extensive research online and we settled on this service. The button is easy to get used to and I don't even notice that I'm wearing it when I have the wristband or the necklace on me. I have it close by 24/7. I have not had to use it in an emergency yet, but I test it every two months or so. When I do that it takes a very long time before I get through to an operator. I'm very worried about that...

I have really severe arthritis and have taken some bad falls in the last couple of months. Last night I fell out of my bed and had to push the button to call for the fire department and things went well. The only thing was that they didn't provide the fire department with the code that they needed to get into my house without breaking the door. In the end the lock thing that they gave me was kind of a fiasco.

I went with them since they have their own system for everything. They have their own wireless network from which they do the calls and they don't need an outside company to do that. I do think that the base station is very bulky though. I've had to use it twice since I got it. When I fell outside they responded fairly quickly. Though the second time the woman that responded couldn't quite understand what I was saying.

I read about it on Facebook, so I decided to go with it. I got it three weeks ago actually. When I ordered it, the customer service person that I talked to spoke too fast. He made it sound like I had to pay for the whole year up front and didn't explain things well. When I called in to activate the system, I talked to a different person and she was wonderful and explained to me that I didn't actually have to do that if I didn't want to. I was really annoyed about how the first person treated me.
