I've never had to use the device for a medical emergency but at this point it seems to be fine. It had more positive reviews than other companies did. They're very responsive and helpful, but occasionally, it takes a little longer than I would have hoped for for them to respond to me.

I did some research on the internet and since they were highly recommended I went with them. The device itself is fine. I've run tests a couple of times and have gotten a terrible response times though. It got to a point where, after 4 tests, 2 of them went fine and the other 2 they were very very slow to respond. I hoped that if an emergency every happened, everything would go well and luckily, when I actually fell and couldn't get up, things went well. When I called them to ask about that, it took a while for me to get to a customer service rep.

I use it all day long, and I just put it next to me at night. It was recommended by my county medical association. They've been great about answering'a little slow sometimes, but they've always been there when I test it. It seems very well made, but it's a little expensive, I think.

They were the only service that worked in my home up in the Allegheny Mountains. I had to use it once and it probably saved my life. I was going out the door leading down to a flagstone patio when I lost my balance and fell down. I cracked my head but thank goodness I had the device on me. Within 7 minutes, people were there to help me. The problem is, customer service is very bad. Last week I spent probably five hours trying to get to customer service when my pendant broke. The music that they play is unbearable and I couldn't get through to them.

On recommendation from my physician, I use the device every evening. They've been reasonably responsive. I think the most important thing is that we've not found it necessary to have to use it, though for the difficult health issues it's an insurance device, should we need help.

I had to call for a emergency service with it once, but I had trouble with my the one that hangs around my neck. It misfired and it kept calling them, but they sent me a new one. My husband decided on it originally, but it was really a problem. All night it was going off, and he was really mad. It was very, very bad.

I like the sales representative better than the other company I talk to, but it was sold to us like my mother could communicate to the person on the other end of the line, and speak with the medical alert team verbally anywhere within a certain range, but it doesn't cover that range. The people had been very nice, but really the product was misrepresented to us in the sales pitch. Other than that it's been positive; everybody's been nice and helpful.

I have never had to use it; typically I just wear it all the time, and it does fine. I don't know I'm wearing it, so I don't pay attention to it. I never hear from them. I thought originally it said that they would contact me once a month to check to be sure that the device was working, and they never have. I contacted them several times, they had never contacted me.

I was convinced by the saleswoman who handles the account. I haven't had the time to use it other than testing it. I'm not recommending anything to anyone. I think it worked okay, but it's AT&T rather than Verizon. AT&T does not have a good signal where I live, and it's sure a longer wait time to contact someone.

The cost was an important consideration for me. I use it especially when I travel. I like to carry it with me when I hit the road, but the device is too heavy, so I don't wear it around my neck. I carry it in my pocket because it's just too heavy. I don't like that, so at the end of the year I'm not going to renew it. I had it in my pocket while I was at the grocery store, and I must have bumped it. They immediately started talking to me and wanted to know if I was OK, so I would say that their response time was perfect.

I went online and checked all of the services out there. Based on what I read from different people who use it, especially other elderly people, I felt like going with Medical Guardian would be best. I've never had to use it fortunately but I wear it every day and never take it off. I wear it in the shower, when I sleep at night, etc. I mostly use the one that goes around my neck but occasionally I've used the wrist one. I feel confident having them around me 24 hours a day. The only thing is that I've found the cord that holds the device to be annoying.

It's very easy, you don't even know it's there. A family member had used it for his father-in-law. Haven't had to use it yet, thank goodness. They're trustworthy, but it takes a little bit longer than expected to connect to a live operator when we're testing the unit.

I saw it advertised and I just decided to go with them. I live alone in my apartment and I'm a little unsteady on my feet, so that's why I went with them. I was going to give them a call today because I'm having a problem with my payment plan. I have not paid one red cent since I've had this thing in December. I keep calling them and telling them I want to pay on a monthly basis and I don't hear anything from them. I want to get this straightened out. If I don't, I am going to drop off.

We tried something else that didn't work. This particular one seems to have a longer range. If it goes off, somebody's speaks to my mother through the device. There's a problem there, because she can't hear them. It doesn't go off when it should, and it goes off when it shouldn't. They talk through the device, and for an old person who can't hear, that's not very good.

I looked online to see how they were rated. I don't have any trouble with the support. I've never had to push the button, but I'm not exactly thrilled with it. It needs to be charged so often that it's not available for me to have on. When I purchased it, I was told that you could go like three days without charging it, and that is not my experience. I find myself not having it on when I should, because I charge it and then I forget to put it back on.

We looked at lots of others that worked for what I wanted, but we looked it up in a magazine and it recommended Medical Guardian. I already have recommended it, too. It does work but I've never had to use it in a situation. I just wear it most of the time, and I charge it at night. Shortly after I first started using it, they called to let me know that I forgot to charge it; that it was losing its power and I better charge it.

All I can say is that I'm glad to have it at my age because you'll never know when you're goanna fall, slip or trip over something. My daughter chose it for me, and I tell my friends about it all the time. I use it all the time. The only thing is that I never did shorten the cord on it. I lean up against my sink and I trigger the alert... but I feel more safe when I have it on. They even call and let me know when my battery's getting low and to get it back on the cradle.

I got it after I read the AARP article on it, and I used it once or twice when I fell down on the floor and I couldn't get up. I know it's responsive because somebody backed into me. I couldn't see any dent on my car, but I got the alert, so that was a pretty powerful tool to be able to do that!

The service was recommended to me by my daughter so I got it. The device is good. I have not had to use it, but I've bumped it a few times and they've responded. I did have a bad experience with them last night though. My device started making a weird noise and we couldn't get it to stop. We tried calling them and we couldn't get anybody to answer and help us. I had to put the box in the cupboard so I could go to sleep.

The church's nurse was the one that decided to get this for us. I've used it some 3 or 4 times for emergencies and they have sent someone to come up to help us out. Both my wife and I think it's a very good service. We really like it so far, it's very good.
