We checked a lot of different companies and they seemed to fit our needs. I had a severe attack of dizziness one time and I lost my balance, so I pushed the button to call them. They responded very quickly, called for an ambulance, and took me to the hospital.

I had a relative that recommended this service for my mother, so we got it. The thing is that it's not really being used as it should be. The wearable part is usually just hanging from a door knob. The one time we had to use it though, it worked just fine. My mom made it to the base unit and pushed the button and things went as expected.

We've never had to use it. Customer service called us once to let us know that we needed a new battery for our device. The problem was that we didn't really need it and the issue just sort of resolved itself. Other than that, the only problem we've had is that the signal of the wireless device kind of waxes ad wanes in the house. So there are times when the alarm goes off but it seems to have a hard time connecting to the service. I don't think that has anything to do with Medical Guardian though, that's probably mostly because of our provider, Verizon.

I'm glad I I haven't had to use it, we've just tested it so far. The service is up and it functions fine every time we call. Sometimes the calls take a little bit longer to connect than what I'd like though. Besides that, I think they're a little expensive and they charge a lot for broken parts...

My dad didn't really wear his and ended up having a bad fall. He's now in a nursing home and doesn't have that anymore. My mom still wears it and she likes the necklace. We haven't had to use it except for testing and for the most part we haven't had any problems with it. There have been a couple of times when we had questions but couldn't get through to customer support though.

The main reason I got them was that they covered my area when other companies didn't. I wear the wrist piece every day since it's less troublesome and cumbersome than the necklace. Recently I got a very annoying phone call from them trying to sell me more services and stuff I didn't want. I didn't appreciate that much.

I have not had to use it, which I'm very grateful for, but I like the idea that it's there for me in the event that I do need it. The couple of times I've tested the machine, they responded quickly. The button is easy to use and convenient. I never had an issue with them or the device.

Medical Guardian just had the best deal, and it's easy to use. I was going to bed from a wheelchair, and I fell out on the floor and couldn't get up, so I pushed the button and 911 came in. They got here pretty quick.

They were one of the only ones that worked for us in the mountains. He does checks on it every once in a while because he was told to do so, but there have been a couple times it did not work. I understand, because of where he's at, but still. Anytime we called they were always available and up to date with everything, but they need to make it work better up there.

I compared and contrasted a list, and they came out on top. When I do my test, somebody answers, and everything's fine. I love knowing that I have it. I did a comparative analysis of several alert companies. The device is not designed well to be secured on a belt'it tends to go off when you bend over. I've never had to use it in an emergency, but I wear it with me because they do act with promptness in response to a warning.

My mother wouldn't keep the devices on. I would put the watch on her, and she would take it off after I would leave. I tried the necklace, and she didn't wear it all the time, either. She would take it off. The equipment didn't look like it would hold up to being used.

They know when it needs charging. If I don't get it charged, they immediately tell me to do it. that's the only experience I've had. I haven't needed to use it. Someone we know had one, and so we just chose it too. The one I have is a little bulky. Also, the blinking light makes me nervous, but other than that, I'm thankful that I have it.

I researched on the web and they came up with the best response. I've never had to use it, but they do respond quickly. Unfortunately, the bracelet comes undone'the strap is so thick that it pulls itself open.

It has worked great for my mother. The only complaint we have is she always try to make herself sit near the door because the responders will not take the time to take the key from the box located outside. This is a problem because she is usually very out of breathe and then not able to answer the call from the monitor when called.

I think it takes longer than it should (about 45 seconds) for the recorder to answer. Is this usual? Also, my original chain had to be replaced, it's WAY to long and uncomfortable! What happened to the magnetic clasp, much more comfortable and shorter chain?

Typical response time is less than 60 seconds, which you appear to be under. As far as your chain, you can feel free to change it out for something that better fits your needs. They seemed to have a good deal for a good price, so I signed up. The device is fine, it's small and lightweight enough to wear on my neck. They're very nice people too but they don't seem to be able to follow instructions well. We told them only to call the people in our emergency list when there's a real emergency but they've called them every time we press the button. Since we didn't want them calling our people every month, we stopped doing the monthly tests to check on the thing. I may not renew my service with them at the end of the year because of that. I mean, they have really good intentions but they don't follow through. I just don't trust them anymore.

I live alone and usually wear it when no one is around. I have not had an opportunity to use it yet but I've set it off accidentally a couple of times. They've told me that when that happens I can push the button twice and that will cancel the call. I tried to that once though and they still sent out the ambulance and called my children. I think part of that is because of the necklace. It moves around a lot when I lean over or go to sit down. I just don't like the way the button hangs from my neck. The service is also too expensive.

I have not had to actually use it. The only thing I've done is push it to see if it worked and things have been ok. I don't like the actual design of the thing you know. I had to go and buy a different chain because the one it comes with is ridiculous. No one would want to wear something like that. We kind of checked around before getting them. They seemed like the better ones of the bunch and the people from the nursing home recommended it too. I've had it for 3 or 4 months now and thank goodness I have not had to use it. I wear it every day though, otherwise I would probably lose the thing. The button is comfortable to wear though I wish I didn't have to wear it. Their customer service is terrible. I had to stay on the phone for half an hour before getting to someone and it never accomplished anything.

I got it because it has a base that has GPS in it that you can take anywhere with you. Though for 2 days I put my base upside down by accident and, you know, it wouldn't work that way. When I found out I checked and since I didn't see the light in it I realized they were not monitoring me like they should. Aside from that, I've been pretty happy with it. It's really nice to know that I can press the button and talk to somebody if I have a problem.

After looking at several things I figured they offered the best value, so I got it. I haven't had to use it yet, but I keep it handy in case I fall. I've accidentally punched it though and it has been effective those times. The button doesn't have a very long battery life and I don't think the fall detection part of the thing works. I've dropped the unit a time or two and it didn't alert anybody.

I did some research on the internet and since they were highly recommended I went with them. The device itself is fine. I've run tests a couple of times and have gotten a terrible response times though. It got to a point where, after 4 tests, 2 of them went fine and the other 2 they were very very slow to respond. I hoped that if an emergency every happened, everything would go well and luckily, when I actually fell and couldn't get up, things went well. When I called them to ask about that, it took a while for me to get to a customer service rep.
