It seems to work and my family is satisfied that I have a system that works. I'm presently wearing the wrist band and when I leave the house I carry the device with me. I inadvertently pressed the button a couple different times and they got right back to me and reset my system.

The one time I did have to deal with customer support, they called to let me know that the alert had been set off and they had been trying to reach my mother but then they never called back to tell me that they had been able to get a hold of her. One thing I would like to share is that it is large enough that even if she give someone a hug, she's concerned she's going to set it off. She did set it off once by just giving someone a hug, so the size of it is an issue.

Unfortunately, when I had to use it I was in another room and I could not hear the operator speaking on the speaker device. I thought you were supposed to be able to hear that throughout the condo period, unfortunately it did not work that way and I couldn't hear it and they couldn't hear me. It is very hard to get in the right position on my wrist so that it's like a watch and doesn't slide around.

It's easy to use, not hard at all. We've tested it and my mom accidentally activated it and it worked the way it was supposed to. During the testing of the unit, it seemed to take longer than usual for them to answer.

I previously used Phillips lifeline did some research thought I'd try it. I do not like the way they typically call emergency contact when it's not an emergency when they should be calling family members to can help out when it's not an emergency.

I was disappointed how long it took for some calls to be answered from the customer service. I think it should be told in the information that you have to get the monitoring system in order for it to work. It doesn't tell you that on anything. When I have talk to people I've been very impressed in their understanding and their timing.

It seems that even the slightest jar causes the "fall detected" alert to be activated. I appreciate the quickness of the response but hate the feeling that I am taking up valuable time. This most often happens when I am taking off the device to put it in the charger.

One of the problems we had is that we would test it and it would say that it wouldn't go through, but it was frustrating that I tried to use just the regular medical guardian contact button and it would go through. They wouldn't answer when we were doing the testing but other than that the customer support was very kind and they got everything out on time.

The testing I did on the unit when I received it was very good. It was in my purse and something hit it and it went off and immediately, the little bells rang and somebody was asking if I was okay. I was really embarrased because it was an accident and I did tell them I was fine, but the response was tremendous.

The device is easy, it's insured, and I can take it with me if I leave the house or if I stay home, even in the shower. I chose them because they provide more equipment than any of the other services and for the price. I have noticed when I call, sometimes it takes awhile for customer service to get to the call and that concerns me.

I havnt ativated it yet. Bought this for my mom who feel in Sept and broke her hip. Looks like she will be out until Jan. After I went to the Web Site I was called by 5 or 6 sales reps. I explained to them the situation and was told by acouple of them the year agreement I paied for up front wouldn't begain until it was activated but I could order it and when she comes home then activate it I called up last week to just let them know that I still hadn't actived it yet. They told me that the agreement started when I got the unit. I explained this and they told me they had no record of that. They said they listened to the recording and that I did tell them my mom was in the hospital then would be put in a Life Care rehab center. I guess he was not one of the guys I talked to before about delying the start date. SO they said they could give my 2 free months on the contract. . I know the sales people will telll you anything to get a contract in place. Just Sad they can't make good on this as I paid my part in good faith. Just Sad!

As far as the set up of the system goes, I thought it was not good. It was not good. It was very very difficult to understand how to set up the system. Once it was set up it was fine but the set up of the system was not. When we did the monthly testing, the people were very nice and we had no issues with that.
