My dad fell once and they came out there one time and he fell another time, but you never called. So I think he felt so softly that nobody knew he fell. I got him wearing the device right but haven't had anybody out there quite a while.

I test, but I've never had to use it. But it never shows when I'm at my daughter's house. When I was away, it did not give the proper locations of where I was. So I'm not happy with that part. And it doesn't always record how many steps I take a day. I'm not happy with that.

Their response to a fall My dad had was immediate and we had an ambulance there within minutes. They stayed on talking tome through the device and were very gracious. And I have now ordered mini for my mom.

Every time we test it, it's very good, with a good response. We haven't used it yet, but we do test it. They respond back to me, they call me, and they return my calls and inform me if I have questions.

This past Tuesday or Wednesday when it went off, my dad was found asleep. Nothing was wrong, but paramedics did come. One time when we were testing it, the person who answered wasn't very nice; she was just very abrupt and not very pleasant.

No problems. I've only used it one time and it worked perfectly. The ambulance was here in no time, they got hold of my son-in-law before they called the ambulance and he gave them the number to get the key to come in the house so no worries about tearing up the door.

That's just a wonderful company to deal with. Everyone's polite and courteous and couldn't be more helpful. We did test it and there was a response within maybe a minute or so, if that, asking if everything was alright, if we needed help.

My son bought it for me. I always use it when I am alone. I like that I can take a shower with it on me. It's good, except I can't keep the cord on. It keeps coming off the cord because I have to tuck it in. I wish that the device was more secure on the the cord that I wear around my neck. This is my second device and the first one I sent back for that reason. I haven't had this one that long and it's the same problem.

I did have a time that I had to use it and they contacted my daughter and the ambulance service. They also contacted other members of my family which were not readily available, but that was okay. My daughter happened to get here before the ambulance did and she had already helped me up, so therefore did not have to use the ambulance people that time. I do try to keep it charged and recently it was suggested that I test it once a month. So a couple of times when I've dropped it, I have had a response and was able to just tell them that it was not from a fall.

We have tested it and it works fine. One time my husband accidentally hit the button, but he was able to answer them and say he did not need assistance. It just sits on my desk, and fortunately, we've never had to use it. They had someone calling me and offering me some kind of protection plan. And when I told her I didn't want it, she automatically put me on it. So I had to go through a lot in order to get it removed. I didn't appreciate that.

It almost goes unnoticed. It's light, it's not irritating or anything like that as it hangs there. Most of the time, I forget it's even there. It seems to be really good. I'm happy with the device. It does what it's supposed to do. My wife says she's not sure if it works or not. She said I've fallen a few times and she's never been notified.

They have reached out in a service capacity and not a sales capacity. So it's obvious they are concerned about support. I try not to wear it in bed, but one time it triggered and the voice came on. I can't remember exactly what they said, but it was very nice and clear.

I put it on the charger and it charges up overnight and I just make sure that that's the first thing that goes around my neck in the morning. I'm glad I have it. I used it when I fell a couple weeks ago outside and they answered right away.

When I passed out and I had the Medical Guardian on and I pressed the button, the response was immediate and my help came within minutes. And the EMTs were incredible. They even checked to see if my cat had food and water before they took me, which I really appreciated.

I used it one time when I had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night. I couldn't breathe and they were right there to get the ambulance and everything. They'll be there when I need them and that's what we want. If we happen to fall and can't get up, we need somebody there to help us. I've already recommended two people already.

I'm very pleased with it. It's good, except the first one broke somehow where the metal piece on the top is, and I don't know how in the world the back of it broke. But anyway, I've got a new one now, so it didn't take very long to get a new one and that's good. I was just surprised when it broke - I don't know how that happened.

I have no problem with what I have, but I have not used it that frequently. I do think the cord is too short. My children insisted that I get it. I drive. I go everywhere by myself. \I was taking my groceries out a couple of weeks ago and a bag of potato chips landed on the device on the counter and it tripped it, which I couldn't get over how sensitive it was because it was a little bag of potato chips. I'm impressed with it, but I don't wear it that often. I'm 90 years old. I get about on my own and I don't put it on all the time because I don't like that cord hanging on my neck.

I do feel safe with it on. I feel like it serves the purpose. But it could have a better design. I would much prefer to have something smaller on my wrist. And what I have on my neck, I find that it's heavy. Showering and getting that cord wet is not good so I take it off when I shower, which I know probably I shouldn't, but I do. I have just gotten the second one that has come in the mail this week that they sent out and cost $30. It's a much cheaper version of what I have, much cheaper looking. In fact, I can't believe that they're really putting that out for us to use. It does not have the quality at all of the first one.

I haven't had that much interaction with them. The couple times I've had contact is when my daughter wanted me to practice after a month or something. She thinks every month we have to make sure that everything's working okay. The only time that I've had experience with it is either when my daughter's had me set it off to test it a couple times and when I set it off accidentally. It makes my daughter feel more comfortable with me having it.

We've had a wonderful experience so far. Originally she had the watch, but it was too complicated and an issue for her. So they did downgrade her with no issue to the device around her neck. She dropped it one time and she got a call immediately to check and see if she had fallen.

I've only used it once. That was by accident, but it seemed to be alright. They were there when I needed them, even when I didn't need them. They came to the door and left because I was fine. I have a question: The one time that it was used was an accident. My daughter pays monthly for the equipment. Does she get charged for an accidental call?

My mom was in the hospital. We wanted something quickly when she was discharged and they were very helpful, very prompt. We got the machine quickly and it was easy to understand. We have the lock box out front with an extra key in case she's home alone.

I like the size of the mini monitor. It is easy to charge the unit. The reason this is not a five star relates to two things: the place and time I fall most often is when I'm sleeping in bed. Since I'm not supposed to wear it when sleeping, that leaves a big gap in my coverage. The other part of the reason is that I had a minor fall while wearing the Guardian and nothing happened. So I trust that the unit will work when necessary, but that is based on hope.

The price is a big factor but also the service is terrific. I’ve never had an emergency but once my dog pressed the emergency button and another time I somehow accidentally pressed the button. Both times someone came on and talked to me. I feel very safe now.

I had to order a new device because the the hook on the device broke from the lanyard. They said I would have it within three days and it took six days, I think, to get here. I like that that I can wear it in the shower, which is probably the place I need it most. There was a time when it should have gone off and it didn't. I I slipped in the shower, I had it on, and it did not register the fall.

I ordered a Nexus pendant. They were supposed to mail it out a week ago and I was supposed to have gotten it by Tuesday at the latest but I still haven't received it. So far the mini has been good. The dog hit the button and a representative was right on it. Thankfully she hasn't had any need for help. We got our mother the mini because she can wear it everywhere and you don't have to have a device in different rooms, and she has it when goes out. Our only disappointment is the representative that we worked with to go the device said we would be able to see where mom was at all times on the app. That isn't true, it only shows here at her home. That was a big disappointment for us, but at least she wears it all the time and charges it weekly.

My mother wears the medical guardian Pendant. She finds it very easy to charge and is happy to be able to occasionally press the button to test it. Phone communication has been easy, clear and helpful. We all feel better that she is with Medical Guardian. I only gave 4 stars because I can't rate how quick a response would be if there were a need for her to press the button in case of an emergency, but the services we've used so far have been very good.

I live alone and I accidentally used something that I thought might have given me an allergic reaction. I was able to talk with somebody on the phone to see if the allergic reaction progressed. I ended up taking Benadryl and staying home. I didn't call an ambulance. The people are easy to deal with. They are responsive. They they do what I need.

I'm very happy with it. It is annoying that I have to charge it every few days. I have tested coupled couple times. And my husband used it because I was passing out so he used it and and medics got here very quickly and I was taken to the hospital.

I like that it isn't faulty, I have no problem using it and I feel very safe with it on. I live on 3rd floor in an apartment building with no elevato. If I did fall, I feel safe everywhere with the Guardian hanging around my neck.

I called to get some information before I bought this thing and I talked to a lady who just laid everything out straight for me. No arm twisting or anything, just gave me the facts. It was easy to understand and it laid out the advantages and the disadvantages and I don't know if there were any. Gave me some options I could choose from and when we got done, I felt like I made an intelligent purchase. I didn't feel like I'd been hoodwinked or arm twisted or anything. I was really pleased with the way that worked, and since then, it's been easy to talk to people and tell them what we needed.

They listened to what I had to say. They didn't interrupt me, and then they assess the situation. They asked some additional questions and they were able to resolve it. I find that very good and that's speaking from someone who has managed global call centers for 28 years.

I would like to just take a moment to talk about the salesperson that I got when I reached out to Medical Guardian. He was very helpful, he was very patient because my dad did not want this. But he was patient and wasn't pushy in any way. He was just very professional and knowledgeable.

It's for my 89 year old father and it makes me feel a little more comfortable when I'm not with him. Medical Guardian was very responsive and did what I asked while I was on the phone. We haven't had any instances where we needed to use the service, but the unit holds the charge really well.
