Mary, thank you for the review. Your Classic Guardian has a range of up to 1300 feet, one of the longest in the industry for a home based unit. Even if you are out of speaking range of the unit, if our operators are unable to hear you for any reason, we will assume an emergency is taking place and proceed accordingly. Alternatively, we also have mobile based units that may better meet your needs if you remain fairly active. Betty, thank you for the feedback. Generally speaking, false alarms can be minimized if you are wearing your neck pendant at chest length. Wearing it lower may sometimes cause it to swing around and lead to false alarms.
