Was not told that if I had to hit the button, medical would not know my exact location just nearest AT&T tower. When I called the operator said something about buy a model up. I would not recommend . Researching other companies . Thinking of cancealing.

I didn't mean to get it at first. The saleslady for Medical Guardian conned me into it with a bunch of half truths. Each person I talked to afterwards told me a different story, made different quotes on the price, and until now I still haven't received the final invoice. I don't know what I actually paid for this contraption. On top of that the automatic fall detection gave me 8 false alarms on the first day, so I decided to just have the speaker. I've been terribly frustrated.

I really haven't had to use it, but I think that the box that it comes with is not great. The thick red and green light is pretty intrusive. I'd rather have something smaller. I mean, it does look like it will work, but it's annoying.

The device is a bit too sensitive. I set it off accidentally when trying to open a jar and I've been a bit apprehensive about it ever since. However the lady that responded to my call was very kind and understood the situation.

Good concept

I use my medical guardian device because I ride horseback in remote areas alone. Initially I was given the impression that this was done by satellite and will pick up anywhere. I found out it's on an AT&T line which is sporadic in coverage

When I called Medical Guardian's customer service, it took them a really long time to answer. If the fire department is knocking on the door and they have to call them, it's going to take long to get an answer.

I'm a very busy person, and since the cord was too long, it hit things and reported that I had fallen. My daughter helped me change the length of it, but they should change the length of the string from the beginning.

Of the two people we worked with, one was good and one was bad. We'd also suggest that they put out a decent manual of how to use it, with a readable font. We got it for my wife because she had a fall, and we wanted to be alert to any similar incident, but we haven't used it yet. They sold it to us, and It's been activated.
