Terrible. Elderly people need this service and you have made it so difficult. We received the wrong and missing equipment twice. Customer service kept calling my mother and contacting her about the service agreement and the device was terrible and difficult to set up. When I crashed to return the divide and cancel, the customer service rep was not helpful and even made that process too complicated for an elderly person that would need this type of device. Med Guardian is completely tone deaf to the needs of its customers. I will never recommend or use again for an elderly friend or relative.

I was told it would be able to contact my father if he fell. Now I am being told that there is a disclaimer that it may or may not. He has fallen several times and only once has it actually contacted him. You tell me (I am the dtr who bought it as reassurance that if he fell someone would know) that he needs to push the button. also there is no one in customer service on the weekends.

You cannot increase the volume. My mother is hard of hearing and I was informed after we purchased a device that she could not elevate the volume that is great inconvenience for us. When I discussed getting the volume increase with the device and the young man that I spoke to was rude.

My father went to use and felt the Medical Guardian was not communicating with him. He had no idea whether or not the police were coming until they arrived and also was unable to communicate with them on how to get into his apartment. Very disappointed.

I feel very comfortable with this device, wearing it daily and relying on it if an emergency should occur. I have not had any occasion to depend on it to help me yet, but the peace of mind that it offers me is well worth it. I even take it with me into the shower, hanging within reach if I should fall. It is so easy to wear and transport with me. I keep it near the back door from which I always leave the house.

On the plus side, response to the test as fast. On the minus side, the flashes indicating battery is charged are too short and too far in between. One has to wait sometimes a long time before seeing one.
