I first called in,, and talked with Michael in July. I liked what he told me, but wasn't ready to proceed. (Our community flooded twice in 2 days, then I left on vacation out of the country for 10 days.) I asked him to call me first part of August, which he did. Once we were able to visit, I made the purchase. At this time I'm just waiting on the product. Mike has been very helpful, and gave me his personal contact number to reach him first should I have any questions or concerns. Thanks, Mike!

Rob was very helpful and spent a lot of time with me due to my many questions, and the situation with my mom as she is a "snowbird" living in two different places during the year. After we finished with the order, I did have a couple more questions, and called leaving him a message. He promptly called me back even after leaving work, and the next morning, he had already gotten the answers to my questions, and called me to pass on the information. Very helpful person to facilitate the purchase of the system - Took longer to be delivered that originally expected. Set up was easy - my mother is hard of hearing so she has some difficulties with understanding the person speaking to her from the monitor. The call button seems to be kind of sensitive for my mother and she has had several false calls. We are still working on that. Mother is afraid that she will accidentally press the call button and will have emergency people in her bedroom at night before she realizes she has called for someone. Are happy to have this service but still waiting to see if it will work well for us.

Mike was persistent but patient with me while I struggled to convince my dad that he needed the service so someone was looking out for his well being 24/7/365. The system was easy for my dad to set up and get started. Only problem was that the lockbox promised did not arrive with the unit. My follow up email asking about it was unanswered. I am thrilled to know that someone is keeping an eye on my dad while still granting him all the freedom he wants to live his life. He can shop, do yard work, golf and drive and he can get help if needed. It gives me and my sister wonderful piece of mind. Our grandmother suffered a stroke and lay in her house 3 days before she was found. Thanks to Medical Guardian we know that fate will not befall her son.

I just received mine yesterday and decided to test it in the other side of the house. When I pushed the button it told me that if I wanted to cancel the call push the button twice holding it down for 7 seconds on the second one. I did that but a few minutes later I got a call from the fire dept. that paramedics were on their way. I told her it was a test but she said I had to tell Guardian that it was just a test so that they could cancel the alert. I did that but a minute later the paramedics were at the door. It was embarrassing but at least I know that I will get help quickly. The next time I test it I'll stay on the line until they answer so I can tell them it's a test.

I am very pleased with my Medical Guardian. I feel once, soon after I got it and it was only a matter of seconds before someone called to make sure I was alright. Another time, twice in fact, I bumped the button and immediately someone came on to see if I needed help. Both times I felt a little foolish, and yet very comforted to know that it really works! Website was informative and helpful. The live chat helped me to discover options and prices that were not listed on the website. Jeff was very helpful and he gave me a direct phone number to contact him. After discussion with other family members I called him directly and got the product I wanted at a price lower than the website. When I got the confirmation email I discovered that 2nd day shipping was available and I called Jeff back and he was able to update the order and get the unit shipped 2nd day. Jeff was very informative and understanding. As a former police officer he sounded convincing and honest. I looked up your company on BBB and the A+ rating reassured me. My experience so far with your company has been great. I only hope that it continues to be so positive and that we never have to rely on your device. I believe that the service will be there if the need happens. I'm impressed so far, please follow through.

Someone in my condo building received different system today, and I feel they have been cheated. I am going to find it hard not to brag about my Premium Guardian.

I worked with Jason. He was wonderful to work with. I told him I had to confer with my mother before "we" made the decision to buy the product. He made one follow up call, then let me make the decision to call when we were ready. He did not hound me or bother me with lots of follow up calls. I really appreciate that. He answered all our questions, gave suggestions and honored our decisions... no pressure, very nice!!!

Lady was very courteous and helpful and I got the medical alert with GPS in one week. My only complaint is that the cord that you wear around your neck is clunky. I am short and it would fit a VERY tall person and by the time I adjusted it I have a couple black plastic things showing about all the time. The cords should be made to the size of the person..

Just started looking into a medic alert system for my mother. On the web site, I sent off for information. Before I knew it, Kevin G. called me to discuss my options. He answered all my questions. I was not ready and wanted to do some more research. No sales pressure and when I was ready, I contacted him via e-mail to answer some more questions. Once again no pressure or hidden costs. Everything is on the web site and did not feel like I had to get a call just to be pressured to buy.

Avant was very personable and helpful when I asked questions. I only caught him once "out of character". When a person has to be "in character," I get doubtful about their sincerity as a CS rep. Also, there were two things that did not set well with me: I did not get a confirmation e-mail immediately nor a charge to my credit card until Monday. That means that you may have the inability to "do business" properly on the weekend. If that is the way your system is set up, it might merit some review. Avant told me that I would get free two day shipping and that the equipment would be here Tuesday. I just now got the tracking number and it isn't even registered as being picked up yet. Knowing how UPS does business, that means it may arrive tomorrow but most likely, it will be Thursday. I also was not given the option of paying one month. It was four months or nothing. How is that different from a "contract" of sorts? Your Internet reviews are excellent but I am not impressed so far. It makes one wonder if the service would be like 911 putting a person on hold when they call.

After extensive online research and phoning several companies, I settled on Medical Guardian. This was in part because of the assistance of Ellen Walker, their knowledgeable salesperson. Medical Guardian provided the services I wanted for my mother without trying to add on other items or providing cheap discounts and inducements. I feel much better about being six hours away from my 85 year old mother knowing she has this extra protection from Medical Guardian.

we haven't received the prod. yet but the sales lady was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable...her father even uses the device. Put me totally at ease and then let the product and her service and first hand knowledge sell me on the product. No high pressured salesperson standing behind their product, just the true business and rating/reviews... I am still getting calls back from the competition after buying from the best!!! Tracy answered every question and even those we didn't know to ask. He completely covered every aspect of the system and our needs. He did it in a manner of providing information and not a high pressure sale. I purchased this service for my mother and as I told her you don't know you need it until you do need it then it is to late. I reviewed a number of other vendors and this had the best bang for the buck.

I set this system up for my 90 year-old mother. We both have peace of mind knowing this is a reliable resource. Recently, my Mom was relaxing on a lounge chair on her porch with the house door closed. She must have adjusted her position which accidentally set off the fall detector. Mom did not hear the monitor inside the house calling to her. Neither did she hear the Call Center calling the house phone and my cell phone was left in my car while I was out doing errands. No one was available to relay that Mom was safe at home so the local EMT's in her town were dispached to her home. You can imagine my Mom's surprise to find three EMTs hovering over her on her porch when she was perfectly fine. Now Mom knows how reliable the system is and also to take her cordless phone with her when she is out of earshot of the monitior. Also, Mom tapes the monitor to her PJ's at night to prevent false alarms if she changes positions in her sleep.

Purchased an annual subscription for my dad, who was increasingly prone to falling. They sent me a unit but when I went to set it up, with the help of their customer service, we couldn't get it to work. They said they would send a different unit. While waiting for the next unit to arrive, I had to leave to go back home (I had to travel interstate to see my dad). During this interim, where we would have had a working alert system if their devices worked reliably, my dad actually fell and broke his collarbone. The next unit arrived, but before I could set it up, my dad died. I called them to cancel and they said they would, and to send their equipment back. I carefully packed and mailed all their equipment, and was sent a confirmation that the devices were received. I thought that was the end of that. They had promised I could cancel anytime and would be refunded for time I didn't use. They didn't refund sufficiently, but I had other things to deal with and so let it go. But then as I approached the 1 year anniversary of signing up for this thing, they charged my credit card another $360 out of the blue. It had been 8 months since I mailed back all their equipment! I consider this is a scam-like, dishonest, and exploitative business practice. I definitely do not recommend this company, especially if you value your loved ones' life and don't want another unpleasant thing to deal with after the person you care about passes away.

Never had to use it, but I had tested it. Like for the battery to last longer. It seems like it's just 3 to 4 days, and then I have to take it off. And of course, I'm not able to use it when I take it off to get it charged.

I didn’t like the buttons on the device. They protuded and I accidentally pressed one and didn’t realize it until someone was at my door. The system I now use have kind of recessed buttons. Also even if I were to call I could hopefully hear a response and talk to them through my neck device.

It's a little bit bigger than what I anticipated. I got a little thing I can clip on now too, so it'll be okay. When I took it off and it fell on the floor, it activated a call, so it works.

My husband fell and neither one of us could get him up. I pushed the button on his hand and they came right away, within 10 or 15 minutes, and helped him get himself back up.
