I had a situation last nite and I pushed the pendant for help.It did not work and so it is not reliable.Mean's that it is statilite they should have know there was an issue with the unit. I would not recommend this as a service.They speak to you as a child. I was told they will still get there money from my account until they get their unit back. I mailed it back to them today, they should have it Tuesday. however they will not get the money. I closed the account so I don't have to listen to them say we don't want to lose you.

My father has been part of the MobileHelp family since 2010. When MobileHelp offered a new service called MobileHelp Connect I joined as soon as I could. One of the features allows me to receive notifications (email or text). One of the notifications is called 'low battery'. When his Mobile Device signals a low battery, I receive a text and I simply call and remind him to place the unit on the charger. Another notification that came in handy last weekend when Hurricane Matthew came up the Florida Coast. My dad evacuated to a safer location and although he took his Mobile Device with him, he left his Base Station. The Base Station sent me a text notification when the electricity went out. 26 hours later, I promptly received a 'power restore' notice too. I was able to call my dad on his cell to let him know it was a good time to start the journey back home. MobileHelp Connect can also send notifications when the system is tested or actual emergencies too. Luckily I have not receive an actual emergency text but it comforting to know when I'm not close in proximity to my dad I feel assured if anything has happen, I will be notified.

Recently, I was on vacation in Orillia, Ontario, Canada, I was finishing my vacation, and going home to Buffalo, NY, USA, and decided to make one last stop in Burlington, Ontario, to visit with another cousin. We got on the subject of Medical Alert Systems, and I showed them my Mobile Help unit. I was mentioning that originally, I was told that it would work anywhere where we might be located. So, my cousin said to me, "Have you ever tried it in another country?" I said no, and then I pressed the button, and I thought that the unit was supposed to talk to me, and find out my problem. It didn't talk to me, so i figured that the battery was dead. So, we went about our business and forgot about it. Then about 15 minutes later came a knock at the door, on Gallagher St. in Burlington, Ontario, and two uniformed people were asking "Where's the Emergency?" Well, to make a long story, short, I left there the next morning and headed home to Buffalo, NY, USA. Then, i called "Mobile Help" and discussed the predicament with them. Their answer was, that their units work only in the USA, and not in any other countries. My only concern was, if they knew where I was, in another Country, why didn't they talk to me, through the unit, instead of dispatching a crew, in an ambulance? Maybe, i had a different problem, and maybe, needed a policeman, or a fireman, or any of a bunch of reasons. All i can say, though, is that their GPS in their unit, brought them to the right address in Burlington, Ontario. Thank you Mobile Help.

I ordered this for my Mother who lives in another state and is caring for our Dad who has dementia. Overall good experience so far, but in my opinion, the time it takes for someone to answer an alarm is too long. Sales rep told me it would take 15-30 seconds. After I got the unit, customer support told me the average time is 90 seconds. Based on 2 tests I ran, the 90 seconds seems accurate. Since I already have a landline based system that takes 1/2 that time, I sent the MobileHelp system back. Yet to get a refund, lets see..........

To work away from the base unit you have to carry a cell phone size unit with you if you're leaving the home and wanted to want to have coverage away from your home I would either forget to take it with me or it would stay charged long enough when I was away from the base unit

I purchased/leased Mobile Help after sending back the product for another company (due to their poor customer support response and other factors),. I was immediately pleased with the Mobile Help products and support,. 1) They provide a key storage box with a combination lock to hang on my front door. They have the combinaton and can give it to paramedics who might come when I am unable to get t the door. 2)The pricing is right and terms are reasonable 3) their support staff is helpful and communicate well 4) when I have forgetten to do my monthly test of the instrument, they have called to remind me and we have done the test on the spot 4) The belt-mounted carrier for the GPS communications unit is very convenient and practical.l.. Some problems (that they have resolved satisfactorily): 1) The mobile GPS unit went dead at one point. I noticed that I didn't get the red "charging" signal when I put it in the base. Then tested it and no connection. Called customer service and they replaced the unit at no charge. 2) The mobile GPS unit gave a beeping signal at one point and false call went in. I have no idea what was going on. Called customer service and they apparently resolved it. I still don't know what happened. 3) A pendant call button would not work well for me. They provide a wrist mounted button, and I wore that for some time, but it was rather uncomfortable. So now I wear the wrist-band button on my belt (on the other side from the GPS communications base carrier). That works pretty well, but a couple of times, I have inadvertantly pressed the button and sent a false signal when bent over picking somethng up or working in the garden.The responder is very understanding about it 4)I I would feel more comfortable if the response on my test were more prompt. Usually it takes them longer than I would wish if i were in difficulty.

I love Mobil Health & rate their service as top notch; however I have stopped wearing my Fall button because it is so sensative that even if you just lean forward & then sit up & it barely thumps against your chest they start calling to ask if I'm okay. Happens so often it becomes really frustrating. I realize that's the purpose of having the service but too much! Do love the GPS locator function & always carry it in case I have trouble away from home. More expensive than other services but the GPS feature is what I need most. Wear the wrist band instead of neck unit all the time now & I'm happy with that.

I have had it for 1 1/2 yrs and love the security ofr being able to get help if I need it. I was putting groceries in my trunk and leaned against the cart and set it off and didn't realize until I got home and the police came to my door asking if I was OK> It is great to know they will check on a person like that. I have had falls before with broken hip-leg and spent time recouping in a nursing home now I am able to be at my own home and I turned 92 in Oct.

My husband & I had purchased the service for him, but I was the one who used it. I had back surgery in April, and fell three weeks after I came home. I was alone, & worried that I might have hurt my back. I pushed my necklace button, & was immediately talking to a representative. I explained my situation,& he attempted to call my neighbor, but she wasn't home. The representative then called the police & an ambulance service. I went to the emergency room, where an examination showed that I had no serious injuries. I'm so happy that we had signed up with Mobile Help, and I plan to keep it.

I feel so much better knowing Mom has one of these units. We got her the unit that works within her house and has a mobile component. This will allow us to locate her in the event she was missing. We got it for her three years ago and it is working well. They call periodically to test the unit and make sure she knows how to use it. They also update the unit every year or so at no charge. One time she was getting into the shower and stepped on the pendant as she was climbing in (the necklace is waterproof, but she insists on leaving it right outside the shower) and accidentally set off the pendant, Sort of comical, but since she was taking a shower, she didn't have her hearing aides in, so didn't hear the call to check to see if it was a false alarm. They sent the paramedics, called me, etc. The good news is it "tested" the system Mobile Help has set up for emergencies, which was flawless.

I have had my MobileHelp for almost 3 years now and thank goodness haven't had to use it. I love being able to go anywhere, any time and still have the capability of getting help if needed. I am not confined to home. I can go about my daily routines, whether it be to the gym, cleaning house, working in the yard, to the quilting markets, craft stores, grocery store, taking a shower, or even taking my 2 poodles on their morning walk without worrying about being alone, falling, etc. and not being able to get help, as help is always with me at just the push of a button. I know I have 24 hour help available and that is the best security and feeling there is. MobileHelp even contacts you on a monthly basis, if you forget to do a test on your unit, to ensure everything is up to par, which it always has been. Great people, wonderful customer service and a delight to work with them. I would highly recommend MobileHelp as it means what the name implies. You ALWAYS have help at just the push of a button, whether you choose the wrist band or necklace type.

i rate Mobile Help a 10+ in all categories'. i have come to rely on this system entirely and in the absence of wearing a necktie, it had become my necktie. i have used the system twice and it has responded to my expectations. i wouldn't be without it. i don't like to think about having to live without it.

After a fall in the living room depressed my button and when the base in the bedroom went off the gps Iin the living room followed. This worked well because I wear 2 hearing aids and I was covered in both rooms..Paramedics arrived within minutes. Very happy with your prompt,professional service! any older or handicapped person should have this security!
