We saw it on television, that was what hooked us. We got it mostly for my wife on account of how much she falls. She's totally blind and, if anything were to happen to me or to her, the GPS thing can pinpoint where we are and we can get help at any time. It's with us all the time, 24/7, and we've had no problems with it. When we have to call them, everybody has been very supportive. We've never had to use it and we're actually quite happy about that. I do think they're very trustworthy. Anytime we've tested it, it has worked alright. There's always somebody on the line right away and they ask you if there's a problem or if it's just a test. It's a good thing to have. I don't think you can put a value on it since it's like a lifeline for us.

I got something in the mail from them at the right time. Back then I was often alone at home, so when I got their thing in the mail I filled up the information and send it their way. When my son came back I told him about it and he agreed that it was a good idea so, whenever they reached out to us, we completed the sign up and got it. There was one time I had to use it when I fell outside. I couldn't really set off the alarm since the button was out of reach from the base, but I was able to get a little boy to help me out. He was walking by and I called him and gave him my button, told him to go in and just push it to get me some help. Within 10 minutes, they sent out the firefighters and they helped me out. I just looked things up on the internet and thought they would be good to get for my mother. She has memory problems and since she insists on staying in her apartment on her own, I got it in case she fell and needed help. When we got it we thought that things would work out alright. My mom lives in a small two-bedroom apartment, so it's not a big place. We put the central unit, kind of the heart of the thing, in the center of the apartment. We were some 10 ft from the unit when we did our test call and they girl that responded couldn't hear us at all. If they can't hear us when we're that distance away, what would happen if my mother were to fall? They'll just send over help regardless of whether or not she needs it because they can't hear us. That was a major disappointment. They don't listen to what we have to say. It also takes forever for us to get through to a customer service person. On top of that, they just hang up on you or disconnect your call instead of asking you if you'd like to continue waiting. When my contract runs out next month I'll be looking for a different service.

I wear the watch all the time and, if I have to go further than my yard, I take the control unit with me. The button is very responsive to touch and easy to carry around. Once I pushed the button by accident and they were very patient about that. On another occasion, I was out shopping and I had it in my purse. I had no idea I pushed it and eventually I found out that they were following me from one store to another and I even beat them to my own home. I was really sorry about that, but I'm happy having it.

I got it for my mother in law who is 93 years old. We've only had to use it once and it actually saved her life. She fell in her garage and broke both her hip and her wrists. She was able to use the button and they were very prompt about responding and getting the paramedics out to help her. They also called me as I was her emergency contact and I was able to go over as well. She ended up needing a hip replacement but has been doing well since.

At the time I had a different service that would only work within my house. After reading their brochure I thought that if I was going to spend as much money as I was spending, I might as well get something that could go further than my home. That's why I decided to try them. I wear it around my neck all the time, but I'd like it to have a chain or something like that for the necklace instead of the black cord. It's not very attractive. I can take it with me wherever I go. If I go visit my daughters I can just notify them and plug the little receptor at their place. I can use it anywhere inside the United States and it'll work, it'll notify someone if I need help. Sometimes I forget to take the monitor with me whenever I go out though. I've been trying to get better about that lately but I guess that's the one thing I don't like about it. I haven't had any reason to call them. Though one time, after the electricity in my place went out, I wanted to ask some things about that. I called them with the button and they gave me a service number that I could call since it wasn't really an emergency. When I called them, they answered my questions and things were alright. I'm satisfied with it all.

I looked online and considered their reputation and all the feedback they had from consumer supports and such. I also looked at how easy the product was to use and how fast their response was before getting it. So far it has worked out great for me. They are always responsive and courteous. There was a time that I slip in the tub and it was difficult for me to get back up. I used Medical Guardian and fortunately they didn't have to send the emergency services my way, my wife was there and was able to help me up. The button is easy to use, though I wish that the battery would last longer so I wouldn't have to charge it as often.

Since my father was near to being 90 years old and lived home alone, I went online looking for something for him. He pretty much wears it all over the house and I like that he can put the main device in his pocket and take it everywhere with him. When we do testing they have always been very polite and nice. There's no hassles with them. On one occasion he was going down a little incline that goes into the kitchen and he fell down pretty hard. He had to push the button and they were there right on time.

I got it after someone recommended it to me. There was a time when I had heart pains and used it to call them. They responded to me on time. They also don't bother me with extra calls and are always there when I need them. The button is easy to use and I don't really have to use the monitor or button all the time. One of the reasons we liked it was that we could carry it with us evevrywhere and it would still work. Overall we just liked the features that it has. We live on the lake so we always carry it with us when we go down to walk there or when we go on a boat or something. We have the alert button close by all the time in case we need it. We haven't had to use it, but when we've set it off they respond quickly.

Being honest, most of the services I looked at were very similar in what they covered. They just happened to have what my mom needed for a reasonable price, so I got it for her. She wears the bracelet since it seems to be more comfortable for her. We haven't had to use it, but I think she has pressed the button accidentally once. They called 911 and the rescue team showed up really quickly. Though it turned out that she was just fast asleep and rolled onto the button by accident. We got a letter from them before our contract was up for renewal that explained how much we were going to be billed if we decided to renew the service. I gave them a call because, for one, the card that they were going to charge was no longer active. The price was also about $100 more than what we had paid previously and that just didn't seem right.

I'm becoming a senior citizen and I walk a lot by myself. So, if something were to happen to me where I needed help, I needed to have something to get help. It was also in part to ease my daughter's concerns about me since she usually works at the time I take my walks. So, I just looked things up online and they were actually the first ones I checked out. Since I just needed to get something quickly, I bought it. When I called to purchase the thing, the person that I dealt with had a lot of information and explained everything in a way that I could understand. He was very helpful. Everything is up in my room and I wear everything all the time. Thankfully I haven't had to use it. There's a lot of other services out there that are a lot cheaper than them, but at this point I think I'll stick with them.

The hospital sent them to us. We tried a lot to convince the person that wears it to actually use it. It wasn't until he fell and broke his arm that we started wearing it. It's just a life saver. They call us when he presses it by accident, so we know that it works if he ever needs it. They're very good, it's a comfort to have it.
