My granddaughter set up everything for me. I just love it. I don't see much people, I just stay home and go to my doctor's appointments and I feel safe here at home with it. If I fall or something happens in here, all I have to do is press that button on my wrist that I wear and they answer right away to see if I'm all right and if I fell. They call the ambulance right away and the ambulance has the keys to open and come inside.

I have it there all the time and I don't have to worry about letting someone know if I do fall. And that gives me security on a daily basis. And my children are happy because they worry. My husband passed away in November, so I live alone now. And they're the ones that got it for me. They feel more comfortable knowing that I have something available. A few weeks ago when I fell in my living room, it was nice to be able to just push that button and know that someone was coming to help me.

When I first was interested in it, the lady that I spoke to was very helpful and even though I know that they wanted to sell the device, she wasn't pushy. It would be nice if the fall detection wasn't an add on - if it was altogether. And it would be nice if the falling was on the watch. If they do, I would buy that - I would get that for my mother-in-law down the line. It's just easier to wear for people, I would assume.

A friend of mine recommended it. He's happy with it and so far I am too. I haven't had to utilize it but it seems to work. I think I tested it when I first received it. The device was supposed to run on battery for 5 or so days. Then I read deeper and it said to charge it every night. So, so far I haven't had a problem, although I wasn't aware I was going to have to charge it as frequently as I do.

It works. Whenever I've talked to anybody, it's been fine. My phone broke and didn't recover and so I was unable to call or talk to anybody. And then I thought of my Guardian and I called on that and that worked. So it was great because I'd have gone a long time without having contact with anybody. But I'd like to ask some questions. I have a list of people that Guardian is to call and some of them didn't get the call because they don't answer unless that number is listed in their thing and I need to know that number.

I would recommend it. I feel like it's the best value for that type of device out there. They've contacted us immediately when there's been an issue and if they weren't able to reach the first person, they followed up immediately with the second person on the call list, so it's been quite good. It's just giving us a peace of mind when it comes to somebody looking over my mother when we're not there with her.

We have no complaints. I've had to call them one time before because the unit was kind of doing a malfunction one day, so I called and they walked me through what I needed to do. We had a bad electrical storm and we had to reset that, and they made it simple. There's been several times that we've just tested the device and they've always responded to us.

I've tested it several times and they do that fine. The other day I was changing my shirt and all of a sudden my device fell to the floor - bang. And I said, oh Lord, and I picked it up right quick and it says this was a fall and I said it was wrong and the blue light went out. So they cut it off real quick and the parts that hold the neck piece came loose. She explained something and then put it back right back together.

I am very pleased with Medical Guardian. The folks at the control centre were very quick to respond when I had the one and only false alarm. I wear the neck alarm during the day and the wrist alarm at night. The false alarm likely occurred when one of my Maine coon cats (they are very big) stepped on the alarm. It's not noticeable. I don't even realize I have it, so it's not intrusive into my life. But it gives me some comfort knowing that I have someone with me even though there's nobody there. However, the rope that holds it around my neck broke, and it actually broke where it's attached to the medical alert so I couldn't wear it if I had to keep it in my pocket. But they sent me a new one. It was the wrong one, but finally just today I got the correct one. So its now being charged. There were only two times where I either dropped it or it was dropped in a way that had nothing to do with my health situation. But they responded very quickly and in a very nice way.

The people were very friendly and helpful. Everybody was polite. We got it for my mom and I think she wore it twice before she passed away. So I really don't know that I have a lot I could share, other than setting it up and canceling it. The only thing I wish could happen, is for the devices to be recycled and repurposed. The person we talked to said to just throw it away, which as an environmentalist, I wish there was a way to do that. That's nobody's fault, but just my feedback.

Every time you have a question or anything, someone's there with the right answer. It's just so convenient. When I tested it, the call went through very easily. I accidentally alerted it one time and by the time I got home I had the fire department, police department, state police, and an EMT unit at my door. I'm trying to get my sister and my brother both to order the units.

Apparently I clipped it when I was going to a restaurant and I knew nothing about it. I was inside having a sandwich and I happened to look out in the parking lot. I saw a rescue squad out front and there was a guy walking around through the parking lot and I realized he was looking at my car. I didn't know I set it off because they're responding quickly. I dropped the unit another day when I forgot that I had the the thing around my belt. I pulled the belt off and it fell on the floor, and within a second or so a message would come out to please push the button on my device if that was not a fall, so the response time is very quick

I like it. When the thing that holds on the neck piece broke off, they were very quick to help and send me a new one and so that made me very comfortable because I didn't like being without it and I could no longer attach it over my neck. I thought that was a really good service that they stood by their product like that. I keep it with me at all times. And I also like the fact that if battery is low it announces that my battery is low so as soon as I get home I put it on the charger. I'll leave it on there until it is fully charged. I wear it and a couple of times I've leaned against the table or something and set it off accidentally and immediately they respond, Are you okay? And I'm able to let them know that that was just an accident.

I had a problem where if I was falling 20+ times. It was medicine that I was taking, but it took us 6 months to figure that out. When I fell, it's not good. You get hurt when you fall, but I wasn't strong enough to get up because the medicine that was impacting me was a very strong muscle relaxer and I had a very high dosage. So every time I fell I couldn't get up. My family was concerned and had to come check on me, and the other times they called 911 for an ambulance and I went to the hospital. I'd fall at night, have to make my way all the way to my living room to try to pull myself up on my chair, and I wasn't strong enough to do that. Medical Guardian has warned me every time, or asked me every time If I had fallen and connected me to operators, were ready to call me an ambulance or get my family down there. Any of those things that would have resolved that problem. It's very precise and Medical Guardian has helped me in every case. I haven't had any issues since I did get it. They're always there for me and I will keep it for the rest of my life. I'm a really happy customer and I really appreciate it.

I thought I was going to have to send it back. After I got it and turned it on, everything was fine for quite a bit, and then one day I went to press the little black button on the side to find out what time it was, and it didn't work. This went on for 2 or 3 days and I just was so busy I didn't have time to call or package it up. So on the day that I decided I was going to send it, I was looking through the literature to find out where I'm going to send this back to, and I happen to read this thing. It said if you haven't used it in awhile you have to hold the the black button in for at least 20 seconds, which I didn't realize I had to do. And as soon as I did that it worked fine. I like it a lot.

No problems. I've only used it one time and it worked perfectly. The ambulance was here in no time, they got hold of my son-in-law before they called the ambulance and he gave them the number to get the key to come in the house so no worries about tearing up the door.

When I passed out and I had the Medical Guardian on and I pressed the button, the response was immediate and my help came within minutes. And the EMTs were incredible. They even checked to see if my cat had food and water before they took me, which I really appreciated.

I did have a time that I had to use it and they contacted my daughter and the ambulance service. They also contacted other members of my family which were not readily available, but that was okay. My daughter happened to get here before the ambulance did and she had already helped me up, so therefore did not have to use the ambulance people that time. I do try to keep it charged and recently it was suggested that I test it once a month. So a couple of times when I've dropped it, I have had a response and was able to just tell them that it was not from a fall.

My son bought it for me. I always use it when I am alone. I like that I can take a shower with it on me. It's good, except I can't keep the cord on. It keeps coming off the cord because I have to tuck it in. I wish that the device was more secure on the the cord that I wear around my neck. This is my second device and the first one I sent back for that reason. I haven't had this one that long and it's the same problem.

I have no problem with what I have, but I have not used it that frequently. I do think the cord is too short. My children insisted that I get it. I drive. I go everywhere by myself. \I was taking my groceries out a couple of weeks ago and a bag of potato chips landed on the device on the counter and it tripped it, which I couldn't get over how sensitive it was because it was a little bag of potato chips. I'm impressed with it, but I don't wear it that often. I'm 90 years old. I get about on my own and I don't put it on all the time because I don't like that cord hanging on my neck.

I'm very pleased with it. It's good, except the first one broke somehow where the metal piece on the top is, and I don't know how in the world the back of it broke. But anyway, I've got a new one now, so it didn't take very long to get a new one and that's good. I was just surprised when it broke - I don't know how that happened.

I used it one time when I had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night. I couldn't breathe and they were right there to get the ambulance and everything. They'll be there when I need them and that's what we want. If we happen to fall and can't get up, we need somebody there to help us. I've already recommended two people already.

We have tested it and it works fine. One time my husband accidentally hit the button, but he was able to answer them and say he did not need assistance. It just sits on my desk, and fortunately, we've never had to use it. They had someone calling me and offering me some kind of protection plan. And when I told her I didn't want it, she automatically put me on it. So I had to go through a lot in order to get it removed. I didn't appreciate that.

They have reached out in a service capacity and not a sales capacity. So it's obvious they are concerned about support. I try not to wear it in bed, but one time it triggered and the voice came on. I can't remember exactly what they said, but it was very nice and clear.

It almost goes unnoticed. It's light, it's not irritating or anything like that as it hangs there. Most of the time, I forget it's even there. It seems to be really good. I'm happy with the device. It does what it's supposed to do. My wife says she's not sure if it works or not. She said I've fallen a few times and she's never been notified.

I've only used it once. That was by accident, but it seemed to be alright. They were there when I needed them, even when I didn't need them. They came to the door and left because I was fine. I have a question: The one time that it was used was an accident. My daughter pays monthly for the equipment. Does she get charged for an accidental call?

I haven't had that much interaction with them. The couple times I've had contact is when my daughter wanted me to practice after a month or something. She thinks every month we have to make sure that everything's working okay. The only time that I've had experience with it is either when my daughter's had me set it off to test it a couple times and when I set it off accidentally. It makes my daughter feel more comfortable with me having it.

We've had a wonderful experience so far. Originally she had the watch, but it was too complicated and an issue for her. So they did downgrade her with no issue to the device around her neck. She dropped it one time and she got a call immediately to check and see if she had fallen.

My mom was in the hospital. We wanted something quickly when she was discharged and they were very helpful, very prompt. We got the machine quickly and it was easy to understand. We have the lock box out front with an extra key in case she's home alone.

I do feel safe with it on. I feel like it serves the purpose. But it could have a better design. I would much prefer to have something smaller on my wrist. And what I have on my neck, I find that it's heavy. Showering and getting that cord wet is not good so I take it off when I shower, which I know probably I shouldn't, but I do. I have just gotten the second one that has come in the mail this week that they sent out and cost $30. It's a much cheaper version of what I have, much cheaper looking. In fact, I can't believe that they're really putting that out for us to use. It does not have the quality at all of the first one.

My mother was very reluctant at first , but after a short time she realized how safe it made her feel. Everything about it was great , the set up was super easy, testing the device , charging it , ect. It also looks really nice. I have such a piece of mind know my mother is safe. Buy the Guardian device !

I like the size of the mini monitor. It is easy to charge the unit. The reason this is not a five star relates to two things: the place and time I fall most often is when I'm sleeping in bed. Since I'm not supposed to wear it when sleeping, that leaves a big gap in my coverage. The other part of the reason is that I had a minor fall while wearing the Guardian and nothing happened. So I trust that the unit will work when necessary, but that is based on hope.

I have been a bad patient, just got to where I'm wearing it all of the time, I replaced the rope with a black sterling chain and it looks a LOT BETTER. So proud of it and the help it may bring, since I have seizures and pass out.
