I didn't really decide on Medical Guardian; my daughter did, and this was the only one we really looked into. I have to use it often, because the device that I hang around my neck when I go on my walk goes off on its own sometimes. We have notified them about that, and they were going to send another unit so that we could see if it is just this particular unit, but I haven't heard anything more. Otherwise I have no complaints at all. Everybody's always been very considerate and tried to help. It's comforting to have it. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Their advertisement made it seem like they were a little bit better suited to my husband's needs. I thought the salesman had sold me the one with the GPS, but that was not the case, so when my husband fell, nobody knew. They also didn't bother to mention that it was serviced with AT&T, and in our little community you don't get AT&T very well, so half the time it was flashing red because there was no signal. When I talked to them about it they were a little bit rude, and when we went to cancel, it took them a week and a half to get me my shipping label, which is ridiculous.

I really wanted the wristband instead of the necklace, and they were one of the few companies that offered that. The price was very good. Just last night I was getting into bed, and I made a soft landing on the floor, so I had to press the alarm. I live in a new development and they didn't know how to get to my home, so the gentleman that was on the call was able to relate the direction that I gave them to the ambulance driver. I did a lot of research online on different companies before settling on them. I've never had to use it, but I test it every month or so, including when I'm out of state. On a couple of occasions it has taken a while for them to pick up. I don't really like that you can't put the button on a different lanyard or cord to put it around the neck. There's no way to attach it to anything else.

We found it at Costco and decided to get it for my parents. For a while, every time my mom leaned on the table the thing would go off. I called their 800 number and the guy gave me different things to try and fix the problem. In the end we just had to make the cord on the necklace shorter so it wouldn't dangle when she put it in her shirt. They've used it several times since getting it, usually they fall in the house and press the button to get help. Their response is always very quick and they've been helpful. We also love the fact tat when they call my parents can choose to either call us or call the paramedics. The button is very easy to use and it charges quickly. Whenever we have questions they answer them.

The fact that it didn't require a landline and that it was available anywhere on the country convinced me of getting it. Thank god I haven't had to use it, but on a typical day I get up in the morning and put the neck piece on. I keep it on all day and take the little unit with me when I go out. At night I put the watch type band on and I wear it when I shower and when I go to bed. I haven't had any issues with it, it's a very easy to use system, it's very convenient too.

I picked them because of their price and usability. My mom is the one that uses it and so far it seems to be comfortable. She wears it all the time and it's easy to use. Anytime we've had a question or any concern, the staff is there for us and explains things in ways that are easy to understand.

My granddaughters got it for me. They've been very responsive so far. I have not had to use it but a couple of times it has gone off automatically. They call me back whenever that happens and are very pleasant. I don't like the bracelet and since I have a pacemaker I can't really wear the necklace so I'm kind of stuck there. Still I feel more secure having it.

My daughter got it for me. I think she was pretty pleased with everything about them and that's why she got it. It really takes the button a long time to get fully charged. When the red light comes on I put it on the charger and it takes about 3 hours for it to be working again. If something were to happen while it's charging, then it'd be useless. Still, even though it's not perfect I'm pleased with it. I just called them because I lost the button that goes around my neck when I went to Florida, not sure when it happened. They're sending me a new one since I prefer using that one over the bracelet. That one makes me break out.

I researched the various different companies, and fairly routinely, Medical Guardian was one of the top two. When I looked at the equipment needs that I had, it really did seem like it was all a best summed up with Medical Guardian's offerings. They always seem to be knowledgeable and pretty straightforward. It's a good value, so I would recommend them. I've only tested it around the house to make sure it works, and it seems to work fine. I've not had to use it away from the house yet.

I had another medical alert system, but I needed something that works through my telephone line since I get no cell phone reception in my apartment. Medical Guardian works through my land line, and that's why I chose it. There was at least one experience where I had them call me right away. I think I hit something by mistake; I wasn't testing it, but they answered right away and I said I was fine.

I got this system for my Mom. we found that it took around 6 to 21 rings for the calls to be answered while testing the unit. The reasons for this was always something we did wrong, they said. When it came time to renew for another year, they would not take NO for the answer, they demanded I give them my new account number and got nasty with me on the phone. Not a reliable company, would not recommend.

Because the button on the bracelet needs to be recessed a bit It's too easy to accidently activate, and there's no way to cancel the call, thereby taking time from the operator who could be taking legitiment calls
